Those painful murmurs echoed in the entire bedroom as she fought through the nightmares. They always plagued her in the prison but at the moment, they were intense.

Her body roughly wiggled moving from side to side fighting physically with her entire body. Her voice was also audible and anyone passing through the hallway would be able to hear her screams.

After a long battle, she roughly snapped her eyes open, gawking widely into space and at that moment, it heavily thundered scaring the shit out of her.

It was raining so heavily outside that it was thundering, and knowing she was afraid of rain the most, she hopped off the bed rushing out maniacally, her bedroom looked like a haunted house.

She rushed through the corridor over to Huo Shen’s bedroom door, it wasn’t locked, so she opened it and got inside.

The room was dimly lit up and at the moment, she couldn’t see much, she tiptoed over to the bed before laying down on the other side against the wall just beside him.

Her entire body was vigorously trembling as she got closer to him. She felt her feet go cold, her mouth was trembling producing weird sounds. Her hands were shaking and seeking comfort in his arms.

" What’s the matter?" Huo Shen was also in bed, he had just gotten back laying down on the bed to rest, and it was almost 3 in the morning.

"Let me lay here for now, all right?" She didn’t care about anything and no one was gonna tell her about being reserved as a girl... At the moment, she had to do this.

"Okay..." Huo Shen didn’t refute her requests and let her hold onto him, he dragged the cover over to her body covering her up. He was too exhausted to get up and find another cover, but that new cover would have been too cold for her. She wanted this already warmed cover.

He had turned the heater on and the room was warm, this master bedroom was a little bit warmer than where she ran away from.

After a few breaths, he heard her breath had gotten even and she had fallen back to sleep, he didn’t mind, but went back to sleep. This was his woman be it now, or several years to come.

It had dawned and it was five in the morning, she had peacefully slept in that bed for the last two hours, Su Wei Wei was up first and she could still recall what happened last night.

The man who was beside her was still lying there but didn’t seem to be feeling well, he was burning with fever, and she could see sweat glistening on his forehead.

"Ah Shen ..." She softly called him as she sat up on the bed and gazed at him.

"Go on..." He hoarsely muttered turning over to the other side and giving her his back. He wasn’t feeling that well at the moment and he wanted to rest more.

"Humph! You aren’t romantic in any way! Can’t you even tell me good morning beautiful, sunshine, you are the most beautiful human I can’t live without!" She smacked her lips in annoyance, she was losing in a big deal, this man knew how to show he cared through actions, but she wanted to hear him at least saying a sweet word to her.

"Mnnh? What do you think?" He swiftly turned over and held her down on the bed gazing into her eyes, they were still purple.

The dim lights illuminated her face as she cheekily smiled back at him.

"You don’t know how to do it! Let me show you!" She roughly turned him over and pressed her lips on his forehead before holding his hand and streaming her magical healing powers through his veins to relieve him of the pain and fever he was having.

"How can you provoke a man like this, so early in the morning? You don’t have to do that !" He wanted to decline but Su Wei Wei gripped his wrist harder, she understood that it was the poison remnants that were still in his body that could be the cause of him having fever.

After a few minutes of relieving him, she hopped down from the bed, "You are Su Wei Wei’s man, it doesn’t matter! Good morning handsome, you will feel better soon..." With that, she hurriedly strolled out of the bedroom before closing the door but came face to face with Huo Zheng.

"Mnnnh?" He was surprised to see her coming from this room! Wasn’t her bedroom on the other side?

Su Wei Wei halted gazing at him awkwardly like a thief who has been caught stealing, "Your master isn’t feeling well, I was checking on him, you can do the rest!" After those soft unsure murmurs, she hurriedly strolled away with her face blushing.

Huo Zheng turned around and eyed her for a second before opening the door and walking in.
