"Thank you, Nanny Wei..." She carefully hugged her before assisting her to lie down on the bed and tucked her in, the intravenous drip that was attached to her hand was almost over and she wondered where they would find another doctor to check on her.

"Mnnnh...I will take a nap..." After having that healthful chat, she felt happy, now she wanted to take a nap, and her body would recover faster.

"Okay Nanny Wei, I will be back soon..." She hurriedly rushed out of the infirmary leaving only the guards there to keep watch of Nanny Wei.

She rushed back into the mansion changed her sandals and strolled over to the sitting area, Huo Shen who was busy with his iPad, lifted his head and gazed to the front as he was seated facing the entrance door of the mansion and saw her panting over heavily.

"Why the rush?" He slightly frowned as he placed the iPad he was carrying on the coffee table before getting up and strolling over to her direction and they met midway.

He held her shoulders and dragged her into his arms before picking her up and bringing her over to the couch gently placing her down.

Su Wei Wei suddenly realized how weak this body was, if she could easily pant at such a short distance, then Nanny Wei was being honest with her, her body would become Huo Shen’s weakness in case of anything.

"Aaah! I wanted to tell you that the intravenous drip is almost done, where will we find another doctor?" She calmed down but her heart was still beating out erratically while she huffed inhaling and exhaling loudly.

"The guards in there would take care of that, one of them is a certified nurse, so, you don’t need to worry..." He softly muttered going back to his seat while Su Wei Wei sat there obediently to calm herself down.

"But she should be taken over to the hospital and do a medical checkup and then she can be ruled to be fine completely, right?" Since she was her adopted mother now, she had to make sure everything was all right.

"Cheng Yi, once that chopper lands, take Nanny Wei over to the Huo hospital and let her have a medical check-up, and don’t admit her if it’s not something serious, she can recuperate back home..." Huo Shen instructed him as he was the closest guard to him who was currently a little bit idle, Wei Tang, Huo Qi, and Huo Zheng were occupied by different roles and work they were working on.

"Okay, Master..." Cheng Yi got up and walked out of the mansion going down to the infirmary as the chopper would be landing soon. He had to make preparations.

After calming down, Su Wei Wei got up and walked over to the kitchen, she wanted to make some nutritional soup and feed her before she would be taken over to the hospital.

She opened the walk-in fridge and several foodstuffs were restocked.

She picked up some chicken and vegetables, she wanted to brew some nutritional soup broth and add a few medicinal herbs she had seen in the backyard.

She hurriedly used a kettle and warmed some water before defrosting the chicken, it wasn’t that frosted but a little bit cold. She used the pressure cooker to prepare it, it would be ready faster this way.

While the chicken cooked, she prepared vegetables, she was faster and swift like someone who was already used to doing it, after watching her for a few minutes, he got up and strolled over to the kitchen.

"You already forgot so soon, always use this apron when working in the kitchen..." He opened the lower countertop cabinet and got a black apron, he wrapped it around her front before tying the straps at the back.

"I was in a hurry so I forgot!" She softly muttered and let him wrap it around her body, her hands were busy and occupied preparing some noodles.

Even though she was making soup for Nanny Wei, they also needed to eat since they hadn’t gotten a maid, and then, even if Nanny Wei recovered, she wouldn’t let her cook in the kitchen, to her, it felt a little disrespectful.

"Why are you in such a hurry? Be careful and don’t get yourself burned!" He held her hair and tied it at the back into a bun so that she had an easy time doing her work without her long hair disrupting her.

"I have to hurry up so that Momma can have something to eat before being taken over to the hospital, we don’t know at what time they will be back, she hasn’t eaten anything from the afternoon..." She was worried that by the time they were back, she would have gone to bed and no one would be around to warm food for her.

"Momma?" Huo Shen was surprised and slightly smirked in annoyance, what did this mean?

"Oooh, Nanny Wei accepted me as her adopted daughter, and I feel obligated to do this! What do you think? Is it okay?" Her hands halted leaving what she was doing and turned around to gaze at Huo Shen, she had forgotten to even consult him about this big decision, and she slightly felt guilty.

"It’s okay, Nanny Wei is a good person, she would treat you well..." Huo Shen was okay with that so long as it was her, if it were someone else, he couldn’t have accepted it no matter what.

"Thank you... It’s oily in here, you can go back to the sitting area and continue doing your things..." She turned around and continued with her cooking, she didn’t have time to spare around for a chat.

"How about I assist you..." He slightly felt terrible seeing her working in the kitchen, Huo Zheng had been screening the existing top servant agents to see which one had better workers to recruit, but they hadn’t still found any that was suitable.
