He slightly felt guilty and suddenly wanted to have her all to himself, he didn’t want to share her attention and love with anyone, he didn’t care how much she nagged or became dramatic around him! So long as she was happy, just happily living beside him, he didn’t care if her love was platonic or she truly loved him... His love was enough to drown the two of them.

But now without any makeup, face jewelry, and with that head full of silver-white hair, she was her father’s copycat, those facial features were a duplicate of her biological father, and those emerald eyes? Exuded the same aura just like her father.

Even staying there quietly, still, people could feel her presence and command respect.

"Do you have a proposal drafted out already?" Huo Shen leaned backward on his office chair gazing at them, he was still wearing his jade mask and it has always been a norm, but they hadn’t expected even in the office he would wear it.

"Yeah..." Ye Xin Zhao got the file and stood up before passing it over to Huo Shen who received it but tossed it over to Su Wei Wei who immediately caught it even though she was busy conversing with Li Ruo, they only meant, she was literally good, keen more than just a normal human. Ye Xin Zhao settled back on the seat.
