"Let me go with Li Ruo, I will fix it!" Su Wei Wei was excited like she finally found her meaning in this boring life. Li Ruo eyed her curiously, last night, she had seen her interacting with Zhu Bai, what was she planning to do now?

"No!" Huo Shen didn’t think twice before declining her request.

Huo Shen sighed getting up from his office desk and walked over to Su Wei Wei who was sitting on the floor.

"If I wasn’t engaged to you, I would be living my life to the fullest!"

"Why has love made me this stupid? How could I make such stupid decisions?"

"Why is love being like this? Wasn’t it supposed to be sweet and understanding?"

"What did I do to deserve this?" She was crying with all the snort coming out of her nostrils, she was looking— oh well, damn!

"Wei Wei... You don’t have any military qualifications for you to arrest anyone, if it’s found out, that’s a crime you will be charged..." He sighed in resignation eying her from a distance while massaging the space in between his eyebrows, he couldn’t get any closer since she didn’t want him to, he didn’t want to rile her emotions, it was like he was walking on egg eggshells.

With her presence, he didn’t seem like he was going to do anything useful today. Letting her go, would also make him anxious all that time!

"I truly chose the poison that should kill me knowingly!" He lowly lamented eying her, when she was sweet, he enjoyed it, but now, here they were... In another dramatic situation.

"Did you say something?" Su Wei Wei lifted her head to eye him, but seeing that conflicted look, then she convinced him that it wouldn’t be that difficult and he would give in in no time.

"But you are the commander in Chief! How can you allow those peasants to arrest me just like that? Can’t you say I want to work under your command?" She wiped her tears and snorted away lifting her head to eye him with those puppy aggrieved eyes. Huo Shen wasn’t someone who followed the law strictly as he was trying to showcase.

He side-eyed her for a minute walking back to his office chair, he didn’t seem to have any solution, and sending her away would give him some humble time to take care of the pending work he had, with her around with all the dramas and her antics, he may end up being useless.

"All right all right... You can go, but make sure you don’t get hurt, if you do, you know the consequences!" He glared at her leaning back on his office chair and rubbing the space in between his eyebrows. She would be the end of him very soon.

"Really? Really!" She hurriedly got up with her eyes shining so brightly like she wasn’t the one crying earlier on. What was even making her happy? Huo Shen was amused!

"If you ask again, I don’t mind retracting my statement..." He hoarsely muttered picking up one of the files to go through knowing she would be quite soon since he had agreed to her requests.

"Okay okay, Commander in Chief!" With that, she walked over to Li Ruo and held her hand to drag her out of the office but Huo Shen’s next statement made her halt.

"Before getting out of this office, you should have a proper meal! And there’s nothing like you are full..." He didn’t want to hear any excuses from her. She had to listen and obey.

"Okay okay..." She settled down on the couch as an obedient lady listening to her husband.

Ya Ya and Li Ruo interestingly watched her, the earlier version of her was let’s say, weak and adorable, but this version after getting her requests approved, was a bit mature and laid back. They couldn’t believe such a young lady was already this well-developed when it came to emotions.

Huo Shen made a few calls here and there before concentrating as the entire office went quiet.

But a knock echoed from the office door a few minutes later.

"Yes?" He hoarsely muttered lifting his head and one of his reception desk secretaries opened the door and walked in.

"President Huo... You have visitors!" He bowed his head respectfully reporting that he had gotten the report from the entrance reception desk.

"I hadn’t scheduled any meetings! I don’t have any appointments that are pending, why are there visitors?" He frowned gazing at him. His schedule was perfectly planned for the next three months, and he had said no appointments strictly, and if they needed to have any, they would have to approach Huo Zheng or Huo Qi.

"The underground receptionist said they were from the Ye Royal family..." The secretary already knew the schedule too, and this came as a surprise, they knew their master doesn’t meet people.

"Okay... Lead them over..." He sighed gazing over to Su Wei Wei but she seemed to be in her own world and wasn’t bothered by that.

"Okey Master Huo..." He bowed his head before leaving the office and went over to his desk so that he could permit for the secretaries to escort the guests up to the 49th floor, that was the end the public elevator stopped, and only the private went up to the 50th floor... Everyone who has been working in that building knew the 50th floor was out of access. They weren’t allowed to step over there.
