"You just said he hasn’t arrived and yet he left first? Where did he go if he wasn’t coming over here?" He frowned gazing at Huo Ting while rubbing the face cleanser on his face, he had just begun to get ready and here they were asking him to hurry up. How could he hurry up?

"The manager just said that he is at the embassy taking care of some guests who are stuck there..." He gave out the same excuse the manager told him and they needed one of them to at least be present to entertain the guests before the function commences.

"All right, I will hurry up and I would like you to assist my father in getting himself ready, if we don’t, we will be delayed with how slow he does things!" He could only accept the situation and rush to get ready, after all, he was riding on Huo Shen’s event and popularity, and this was a good opportunity to make connections.

"Okay, Master..." With that, he went over to old Master Huo’s side to get his clothes ready and see if there was anything he could do to assist him.

The secret agents had done first aid in their wounds. Huo Shen was still holding Su Wei Wei in his arms while her body was completely covered, but her face was healing and the fresh skin could be seen.

"You would get checked up with the doctors and then rest for a while before you go back to the Castle to recuperate! You need to rest!" Their escape was triggering and dangerous as they maneuvered between rains of bullets. Their bodies and minds were exhausted compared to the injuries they received.

The propeller cooled down and the doors opened up, they could see Cheng Yi and other guards standing guard at a distance. They respectfully saluted him.

Cheng Yi was standing there to welcome them and other several guards who assisted the injured ones over to their private rooms so that they could receive medical checkups before getting sent back to the Castle.

Huo Shen wore his mask before getting out of the chopper, "We are here Wei Wei..." Huo Shen hoarsely muttered getting down onto the helipad floor before they took the stairs down to the 50th floor where they had reserved the entire floor for themselves.

"Ah Shen, I want to sleep for a few minutes!" She was feeling drowsy and a little heavy-headed. She instinctively opened her eyes even though she could only see the blurry images and her eyes hadn’t changed their colour. It’s like they were drained of color.
