The next day.

Rose, who still hadn’t woken up since the long and complicated surgery, was now transferred to the patient’s room.

The whole family was in the VIP room waiting for her to wake up, but by that afternoon, Rose had not yet regained consciousness.

This worries Evan and the rest of the family. Only Nicholas looked calm. He asked the rest of the family to return to the hotel and come back tomorrow — he was confident his daughter would wake up soon. But he couldn’t predict the time.

Suddenly Evan’s aura was so sharp. Everyone stared at him in silence, afraid to make a sound because they knew that the boss was furious this time.

"Oskar, are you sure?" Evan asked.

"Yes, boss. I have hacked into Kimberly’s communication device and have all the evidence. However, she doesn’t seem to realize that she is being used by Willard Harper. She tells him every time Willard asks about you..."

"So you’re saying the girl is indirectly a spy?" Gavin was stunned.

"W-Wife... You woke up!!?" Evan shouted and quickly pressed the button to alert the nurse. But later, he panicked when he saw tears in her eyes.

"Is there something hurt in your body? Please tell me, I will have the doctor check it..." He asks.

Rose couldn’t answer him, but she just shook her head weakly, trying to smile to reassure him.

She wasn’t crying because she felt uncomfortable, but she was too happy to see him.
