Rebirth: Dancing In My Destiny
Chapter 509: Rescue

Chapter 509: Rescue

Outside the house.

All guards head North — behind the Villa — to deal with intruders attacking the island. They foolishly almost brought their team to one place. And just left a few people guarding the post in front of Villa.

The remaining guards were unaware that in front of the Villa, several men in black with small oxygen cylinders in their mouths and automatic weapons hanging on their backs came out from the water very fast and invisible.

In just a few minutes, all the guards in front of the Villa were killed. They did not know who attacked them.

"All clear, boss!" Said one of the men in black.

"Good! Let the speedboats prepare!" Evan instructed while checking his surroundings. His eyes landed on the large Villa in front of him. A fierce murderous aura immediately emerged from him.

"Boss, they took our bait! They left this location and headed North." Sam was back at Evan’s side after sweeping the conditions around Villa.

At the same time, on the other side of the island. The sound of gunshots broke the silence of the night. The atmosphere was so tense and chaotic.

Evan felt relieved. The team led by Sean was now dealing with the guards.

"I’m counting on you, brother Sean! Take care of them. I’ll save my wife..." Evan muttered.

Then Evan looked at the man beside him, "...Sam, have the others stand guard around the Villa. If they run into anyone, kill them all. Leave no one behind!" Evan said. Then, he looked at the thin man on the other side, "Have you checked inside yet?"

Looking at a palm-sized monitor in his hand, Oscar looked at Evan.

"Aye, boss! There are no guards in the house. However, the unarmed staff is at the back of the main house." Oscar said, then he turned his gaze to the monitor, which displayed a human and firearms silhouette.

"Bring a few people and take care of everyone. And Sam followed me..." Evan walked forward without saying a word. His sharp eyes stared at the Villa in front of him with killing intent.

Sam follows him silently. He was equipped with an automatic weapon in hand and a night vision device. He’s ready to slay that bastard Willard Harper who kidnapped his lady boss!

Even though the house was dark, there wasn’t a single light downstairs. Still, they could see clearly with the help of a night vision device, usually used by the military.

The two of them searched the area quickly without difficulty.

They already knew the Villa’s layout from Oscar, making it very easy to find Rose’s location.

Evan motioned for Sam to shoot at the door where Rose was being held.

When the door opened, Evan’s heart sank as he smelled the strong scent of fresh blood that filled the room and shabby furniture.

With one glance, anyone could tell there was a fight in the room, and he was shocked to see a man lying on the floor with blood all over his body — he was sure the man had already died.

"Boss, this man is Willard Harper! I guess Lady Boss killed him..." Said Sam squatting near the man who died miserably on the floor. He turned his gaze to Evan, "...but Lady Boss isn’t in this room!"

Sam was starting to worry. Without being told, he immediately surveyed his surroundings to find another door. Perhaps, the lady boss had already run away after killing Willard.

Evan didn’t say anything, but after looking around, his eyes stopped in a specific direction—a trail of blood in the sofa area.

He walked quickly to the sofa. Instantly all the blood on his face seemed to disappear when he saw his wife lying on the floor motionless, her face as white as snow. He could also see that in several parts of her body, there were traces of blood.

She is injured!

His heart nearly stopped as he held his wife’s cold body in his arms and exited the room without looking back.

After a few hours...

At Promise Hospital in Vale City.

All the Spencer and Collins families were now waiting tensely in front of the surgery room. The atmosphere in that place looked so eerie and tense.

No one made a sound, only the occasional sob of Molly Wilson could be heard, and words of comfort from Doris made Molly feel better.

Old Spencer and Old Collins, along with Anthony Collins, sat on the other side of the waiting room with sullen expressions.

As for Evan, he was standing in the corner of the room dimly, as was his current mood.

Evan had been silent since Rose entered the operating room, accompanied by her father.

However, after three hours inside, there was no sign of the surgery being completed. His heart was getting restless. Worried that something was wrong with his wife’s surgery.

Even though she wasn’t severely injured on the outside, she was seriously injured on the inside. He got the news before surgery that his wife had a broken bone and was bleeding inside a particular part of her body.

He was so afraid to imagine what would happen to his wife. He could only remain silent and stare at the operating room door. It was still tightly closed, like he was ready to bark in case anything happened to his woman.

Shortly after...

The surgery room door opened, and his feet stepped towards the female doctor who came out of the room to approach her mother and mother-in-law.

"Ms. Doris Stearn, Ms. Molly Wilson, I have something to report..." Doris and Molly, busy comforting each other, gasped in surprise when they saw the doctor standing before them.

They immediately stood up from their seats and faced the female doctor.

"Yes, what is it!?" Doris felt strange because it wasn’t Nicholas Spencer as the head doctor who came out.

Is the surgery not over yet? Or Failed... to make Nicholas unable to come out and tell them!?

Instantly Doris’ legs felt weak.
