Rebirth: Dancing In My Destiny -
Chapter 477: Hacker Community
Chapter 477: Hacker Community
"If you do it again, you will say goodbye to your head." Evan’s impatient tone echoed. "Continue!"
"S-sorry, Sir. I... took the job because I thought the money offered was quite a lot for uploading a photo. Sir, I need money, so I will do anything. I didn’t even know that photo was..."
Another powerful kick landed on his back, and his face hit the floor hard. He gritted his teeth, trying to endure the unbearable pain. While cursing the man who stood behind him.
"So you had no contact with the taskmaster?" Evan was displeased. Now their investigation hit another wall again.
"Yes, Sir! I can testify to that." The man paused. He then told Evan about their organization’s hidden website "Sir, you can check the hidden website of the White Skull Gang... You will know, I’m telling the truth..."
There’s no point lying to this man. If he could destroy the White Skull Gang quickly, he could also kill him.
He didn’t know much about their hidden website, but he was sure this big boss must have some hackers behind him. They would know who’s behind it if they knew the website link, right!?
Evan pondered for a moment. This rat is telling the truth. Knowing he could no longer get any information from this rat, Evan stood up from his chair. Then he called Oscar to follow him and ordered Gavin to clean up that man.
Soon Evan got into his car while Oscar sat beside him.
"You heard what the man said, right?"
"Aye, boss!"
"Go! Investigate the website. Find out who created that hidden web, and who placed the assignment..." Evan said while massaging his temple. "I suspect this person is the same person you are looking for."
Oscar felt even more challenged to find the Hacker. But something bothered him. If the Hacker was behind the White Skull Gang, that guy was indeed slippery.
How could the Hacker be able to use the internet? Even though he had laid many traps — he would find him if the Hacker was using the internet.
He doubted Evan’s theory. There’s no way that guy did it unless...he told someone else to do it.
Oscar took a deep breath out of stress. This was his first time facing such a formidable opponent.
"Boss, I think I should go back to Europe. I should stay there. The closer my location to that person, the easier it will be for me to find him." Oscar said. This is the only way to catch the culprit.
"I agree. You can fly immediately after finishing your work here." He couldn’t keep Oscar here for too long.
Before Oscar left the car, a thought suddenly crossed his mind. He felt goosebumps. How could he forget?
The Hacker he is looking for could be a member of the Hacker Community!? The oldest hacker organization that has ever existed on this earth — that’s why he can’t find him!
Even though Oscar could be called an expert, he had not received an invitation to become a member of the Hacker Community. Only Evan qualified to become a member.
He looked at Evan, "Boss, can you check with the Hacker Community about that slippery Hacker? Maybe someone knows about him!? Or perhaps, he is one of the members there?"
Evan was surprised. He forgets about Hacker Community. It’s been a few years since he accessed the community’s cyber forum.
"OK! I will let you know after I get a clue there..." Evan suddenly changed his plans. He would go to his office first before picking up his wife.
"...Or, can you help me this time, boss? I mean, it was easy for you to find that guy, right!?" Oscar begged.
From the beginning, Oscar wanted to ask Evan for help, but Evan had too much work to do. And he didn’t want to burden him too.
Oscar knew how capable his boss was in this area, but for some reason, four years ago, his boss had seemed to step back and leave all this kind of work to him.
Evan didn’t answer Oscar. He rushed to his office.
Soon he arrived...
He immediately opened his black laptop that had been occupying his desk drawer for a long time. But now he had no other choice. He needed to check something out.
Suppose the Hacker really was a member of the Hacker Community. In that case, he would be making new enemies again, after he clashed with someone in the community years ago.
Evan opened a particular application and began typing code quickly. The computer screen went black, and only codes like dots and numbers were running so fast on the screen. After a few seconds, the Hacker Community forum appears.
Evan was surprised to see so many unread messages in his inbox. He ignored it and searched for the name he was looking for.
"Are they online?" He muttered.
A few minutes later, he saw one of the names he was looking for, QUEEN.
He immediately sent her a text message.

Hi Queen,
It’s been a long time. Need your help to identify someone. Please reply if you have read this one.

Evan stared at his laptop without blinking. He knew Queen was online now. That woman was a genius among them. She must have known about the Hacker they were looking for.
But the problem is, does she still remember him? After many years he disappeared from the Hacker Community.
Before Evan wanted to check his cell phone, his laptop screen went black without him even touching it. He smiled.
In just a few seconds, an anime picture; of a white-haired woman with a black crown appeared on the screen.
"Hi, Evan!"
"Hello, Mel. Hahaha, you still remember me?" Evan was moved. He couldn’t believe this monster still remembered him.
"Of course I am. I also read that you’re married, huh!? Why didn’t you invite me?"
"Hahaha... I will visit X and bring my wife to meet you."
"I’ll be waiting. Evan, are you looking for someone? Send me the details, and I’ll check them for you! Sorry, I can’t stay long... I have to go."
"Thank you, Mel. Give my regards to Andrew!"
"I’ll tell him. Bye!"
Evan smiled, seeing his laptop screen back to normal. He immediately sends anything about Hacker’s details and his last known IP address to his friend, Mel.
