After a few minutes of the Press Conference, the news about Rose and Evan again hit the internet. However, this time not a single negative story or comment appeared.

Rose finally felt in a good mood.

She returns to focus on her work because it’s piling up. And naturally, she lost track of time. She had just stopped work when James and the others knocked on her office door.

"Boss, let’s have lunch. What do you want for lunch?" James leaned against the door while the others stood beside him.

"I’m still busy. Can we eat at the office today?" She said and slowly raised from her seat.

For the next few days, she decided she would avoid appearing in public until news about her disappeared from the internet.

Looks like she needs more eye-catching news to divert the issue. She will think about it and ask Oliver to help her.

"Then let’s go to the cafeteria on the 5th floor. The food is pretty good..." Danny suggested.

"That would be perfect, Danny! I’m pretty sure Rose never eats at our eatery. Am I right, Rose?" said Randy with a faint smile on his calm face.

Randy couldn’t wait to show Rose the employee-only cafeteria. One of the office facilities came from Rose’s idea. Since the cafe started operating, he often wanted to take Rose to eat there, but she usually did not have time.

"Hmm... I’ve never eaten there. Come on!" Rose was curious to see the cafeteria in person. When she first owned this building, she wanted to dedicate a dining area floor for all employees. A place resembling the food hall in the mall or a restaurant buffet at a five-star hotel.

Every month all employees are given meal allowances that they can use in this cafeteria. If their meal allowance runs out, they can pay using their own money.

She heard from Oliver this place became all employees’ favorite spot in this building, besides other facilities, such as a library and gym.

It wasn’t long before they started having lunch while chatting about various things.

Then, Rose suddenly remembered her plans for an early summer vacation with her friends.

"Guys, what do you think if we go on vacation together? Evan has an island we can go there for two nights to have fun and relieve our stress..."

The three men suddenly stopped chewing their food and stared at Rose with a sullen face.

"Are you seriously asking us to go on vacation with you?" Danny was the first to speak in a clearly displeased voice.

"Yeah... Why not? Didn’t we have a vacation together when we were in college? Why do you look so shocked, Danny?"

Danny swallowed before replying, "Thank you but no thanks, Rose."

"Huh! Why?" Rose was confused.

She looks at them individually, starting with Danny, James, and Randy. Their facial expressions slowly changed — starting from shock, then turning into disinterest. Now, a mocking smile appeared on their faces.

What’s going on here? Why are they acting so strange?

She made this holiday travel plan as a form of gratitude to them, who have worked hard since the company was founded until now.

"How can we bear to see your PDA with Evan!?" James shook his head as he grinned at Rose.

"Hahaha, true! We could have ended up in the ER, getting diabetes because we often see your sweet moments with Evan!" Danny tapped James on the shoulder before continuing, "Damn, man!! We better hurry to find our other half..."

Rose was utterly speechless. These two idiots, how could they only think of such a thing?

She turned her gaze to Randy, "What about you, Randy?" She was sure that Randy, the wisest of the three, wouldn’t think that way, right!?

She stared at Randy, waiting for her wise answer.

Not only Rose was curious about Randy’s opinion but Danny and James were also interested in hearing the answer.

Randy rubbed his brows as he met Rose’s eyes, "Well, I agree with them, Rose! I guess, I also will suffer terminal illness just looking at you and Evan doing your PDA at the island..." He smiled bitterly.

If only he had a lover, he would definitely go. But, now he has no close female friends, what else, a lover!? And lately, when he saw Evan and Rose’s intimate interactions in the office or at their residence, it made him jealous. What if they were on an island? No. He’s better off staying in the office or sleeping in his apartment.
