Chapter 201: Just Google It!

After Rose finished wearing her dress, she followed Evan to the dining room on the first floor. The huge dining area is located in the back area. When she entered the room, she was stunned, looking at a vast French window overlooking a flower garden. Many kinds of flowers bloom in the park, and she can spot a few of her favorite roses and carnations in various colors. Near the flower garden, there’s an infinity pool with vineyard scenery as far as the eye can see. Instantly she is tempted to soak in the blue pool to enjoy the sunset.

"Wifey, come here, sit with me..." Rose heard Evan calling her. She turned her head, looking at him, already sitting. She immediately sat beside him.

Soon, a few men with their black suit outfits served them their breakfast. She recognized a few there; Assorted bread, Frittata, Crepes, and of course, coffee.

She saw a cup of cappuccino with a heart sign on it. It looks so pretty. She took the white cup and inhaled the aroma of the coffee while closing her eyes. The smell immediately made her mind feel clear.

"I made it for you! I hope you like it!" Evan felt proud when he saw his wife fancy the cappuccino he made for her.

Rose was surprised when she heard Evan’s words. She glanced at him, "Can you make a coffee like this?"

"Well, in my spare time, I learn to become a barista. So, now, I have a professional barista certificate." Evan said with a proud smile as he took his coffee and sipped it. Rose’s eyes were beaming, looking at the man opposite her. His face looked so handsome as always, and he was capable of many things. Besides, he is also a genius. She can’t blame herself for falling for this man every time she sees him.

"Waah! I can’t believe you also have that certificate... Mr. Collins, why didn’t you tell me?" Now Rose felt embarrassed. All this time, she thought she was the best at making coffee. She volunteered herself to make coffee for Evan when they were together. But who knows, this man is more skillful! No wonder, in his apartments and office, she always spots sophisticated coffee-maker machines that she usually sees in cafes.

Evan chuckled. He placed his empty cup, "Ms. Collins because you never ask...."

Rose could only roll her eyes.

"Wifey, you better start eating, or the sun will rise too high."

"Ooo..." Rose immediately starts to eat her Frittata. She remembers this food because it was similar to the omelet she usually eats. Rose also eats chocolate crepe and asks Evan for another cappuccino. She immediately decided Evan’s cappuccino was way better than the one she makes herself. So it’s worth a repeat order.

After she felt satisfied with the food and drinks, Rose took Evan to walk outside through the back garden. Near the infinity pool, there’s a stone staircase that leads them directly to the vineyard. She was amazed looking at the vines lined up so neatly. She can see that there are grapes that have started to turn purple. If she’s not mistaken, they will be ripe in the incoming months.

Rose tried to capture the scenery around her with her digital camera that she had brought down from Astington. She took pictures of some of the trees, grapes, and workers that caught her eye while following Evan, who was walking ahead with a middle-aged man named Ivano Bianconi. Previously, Evan had introduced Ivano as the person in charge of this place.

The further they walked into the vineyard, the happier Rose was because there were so many photos she could take. Especially the worker who always smiles every time she takes their picture, they look so lively and kind.

She continued to follow her husband, who was still seriously chatting with Ivano Bianconi. But, after a while, she heard something that surprised her. She stopped her step, too shocked by the information she was just listening to. However, she quickly catches up after them and pretends nothing happened. She will ask him later.

Not long after, Ivano Bianconi left them.

"Are you tired?" Evan was standing by her side again, putting a hand on her shoulder. They strolled back to the house.

Rose shook her head. Although now her calf still feels sore, she tries to hold it. She didn’t want to ruin their morning stroll.

If her husband knew her body was aching, he would carry her and ask her to sleep all day on the bed. Imagine that it made her head feel like spinning.

Sometimes, she doesn’t like it when her husband is overprotective of her because he treats her like a crystal glass that breaks easily.

"Evan, this vineyard belongs to you?" Rose asks casually, but her words could make him stop his step. He looks at her with surprised-looking eyes.

"Why do you think that I own this place?" Evan calmly asked as he held her hands. He was curious. How could she guess right?

Rose smiles before she answers him, "Hubby! Don’t you know that I understand Italian?" She answered him in Italian. Evan was stunned.

"Wife! Since when did you speak Italian?" Evan knows his wife is multilingual, a polyglot. Still, in her portfolio, which he has read, the Italian language is not on the list. That’s why he casually chatted about his company with Ivano Bianconi in front of his wife.

"Gee! It’s because I haven’t updated my portfolio..." Rose shakes her head slightly as she laughs. "Starlight Investment turned out to be this big overseas, huh! If I’m not mistaken, this vineyard is one of the largest vineyards in Europe...."

Evan was utterly surprised to know her wife had now upgraded her skills to master another language, apart from the 7 countries in her portfolio. How many languages does she currently master?

"Hahaha... you caught me red-handed, Wifey! Yup, this belongs to me. But, it’s not under Starlight Investment. Still, my other company..." Evan said as he started to walk toward the house while holding her hand.

"You have another company? Which companies?"

"Just google it! You will find the answer...."

Rose wanted to scold him for being too stingy to give her information. "Gosh! Can you just say it!? I didn’t bring my cellphone...." Since leaving Astington, she hasn’t touched her cell phone because this man didn’t give her a chance to do that.
