"What plan?"

"About having children. I... I think I want to spend my life with you in a year. Hubby, am I being too selfish to want that?" Rose paused to catch her breath and asked him for a polite nod, but she saw Evan didn’t show any reaction. This makes her worry.

She continued, "I’m really guilty because I’m not discussing this with you. That’s why I feel so mad at myself right now...."

Evan was surprised to hear what was on her mind. He pulled her into his arms and hugged her tightly. Every time she saw her blurry eyes, he felt his heart ache.

"Rose, my wife, please don’t cry, huh!? I’m not disappointed with you because you stopped me. I also wasn’t disappointed with you because you did not discuss your plan with me. I’m fine. I really respect what you want. And, did you know the funny thing is?" Rose looked up to see his eyes.

He continued, "I also don’t want a child for our first year of marriage. I want to have you alone, don’t want to share with the tiny creatures... But, I am afraid to ask you, afraid you want to have a child soon...."

"Really?" Rose smiles, hearing his words. She was trying to read whether he was telling the truth or was just to make her feel better. "You are not angry? You don’t disappoint me?"

"Nope! I will never." He tightens his embrace before he continues, "Wife, we still have plenty of time to do that. Why should I be mad at you now?"

Rose silently smiles, hearing his words. She felt relieved and happy. Suddenly she felt her eyes were heavy, and in a few minutes, she fell asleep in his arms.

After Rose fell into a deep sleep in his arms, Evan gently placed her head on the pillow and slowly got out of bed. He took his phone and then walked to a huge glass window overlooking the city. He saw the city lights still dazzling.

Evan stood there for a moment before he sent a text message to someone.

A black Mercedes Benz G class passed the North Hill to the business district. The road is still busy, and there are even traffic jams at some red lights. Gavin is so exhausted after taking care of his Boss’s wedding, now sitting relaxed in the passenger seat while enjoying his cold americano.

"Finally, we can sleep early, Sam! Our Boss will not bother us, right!? He will be busy taking care of the lady boss...." He sips his cold coffee again as he glances at Sam driving beside him.

"I know, right?!! The night is still early. Do you want to go to a bar? We need a cold beer to end these happy days!" Sam said without looking at Gavin. His mind felt happy because his lady Boss would enjoy her holiday and he would be more relaxed at the office.

Even though he has a lot of work to do in a few days, it won’t be as busy as if the lady boss is in this city. Tomorrow they will go on their honeymoon alone. They deliberately did not bring an assistant or bodyguard because there would be a team on standby in Europe who would take care of them.

"Holy shit! Why did you spill coffee in my car!? Damn it! This is a new car, mate!" Sam completely ignores Gavin’s sharp gaze. He took a few tissues and tried to clean the dashboard.

"This is your fault! Why did you hit the brake suddenly? We could die in an accident!!" Gavin looked at Sam with an annoyed look. He felt like he wanted to beat up Sam. But he held himself because he had to return to Misty Mountain. "Now! Move your car. We need to go to the pharmacy."

"I can’t!"

"Why?"

"Because it’s a red light!" Sam shook his head as he turned his gaze ahead. He was annoyed.

Gavin just realized that at this time, they stopped at a red light.

"Why do we need to go to the pharmacy? Were you suddenly ill or something??" Sam looks at Gavin again with sincere concerns. "Why are you so weak, brother? Your body didn’t hit the dashboard, and now you want to buy medicine?" He smirks, making fun of the dire-look Gavin.

"Okay....But why do we go to the pharmacy?" Sam asked again as he stepped on the gas heading to the pharmacy near Promise Hospital. Luckily, they weren’t that far from the hospital.

"Boss wanted us to buy condoms!"

"What? Condoms? Why did he need that? He knows he is already married, right!? So he could go all the way without...you know...."

Gavin was awkward in responding to that. "Of course, I know he’s married. What do you think I am? Stupid? Still, Boss ordered us to buy a lot of it and bring them back to the misty mountain now."
