During the rest of the trip, Rose gets lost reading the news about top pop singer Noah Stone. There was a sense of pride in seeing Noah Stone become more successful. And his success was not only domestically but has spread beyond borders.

Noah Stone’s success is supported by his fans all over the world. Reading comments from fans who almost all support him made Rose believe that Noah Stone is the only pop singer in Astington with no haters. So far, she has not yet read any hate comments about him. This is relieving because Rose had witnessed how kind and caring this man was since childhood. He is always there for her whenever she needs someone to rely on until his singing career starts.

"Gavin, is there a problem at the company? Why is your big boss going to the office so early in the morning?"

Rose knows Evan is not the type who likes to spend time in the office. He is a man who prefers to stay at home, just like her.

Gavin was surprised to hear Lady Boss’s question. He glances at her and slightly tries to read her facial expression. Gavin could see how worried she looked. But, this makes him confused, because what he knows, there are no problems at the company and there is no agenda if boss Evan is going to the office today. He felt strange. Their boss must have done something else not related to Starlight.

Is Boss Evan planning another surprise for Lady Boss? Gavin thought.

Worried that he had given the wrong information, Gavin nodded in agreement that there was currently a problem at the company.

Rose stops her step abruptly. Making Sam, who was behind Rose, stops in surprise.

"Damn it, Sam! Why are you stopping suddenly?" Oliver scolded Sam. He almost bumps into Sam’s giant body. The sudden stop almost made Oliver Ray Ban’s latest collection broken.

Sam ignored Oliver’s deathly glare. His eyes are staring at Rose, who is looking worriedly at Gavin.

"Gavin! Please go back to Evan... Evan must be needing you more than I. We can handle anything here."

Rose knows Gavin already helped them so much. He gives them quick access to submit forms at the registry office. And also lent one floor in the Starlight Investment building as the new Wilson group branch office. He even gave them a few staff located at Wilson Group’s new branch office. In short, the Vale City branch of Wilson Group is now officially running. This man handles everything in just a few hours. This made Rose even more amazed by all of Evan’s assistants, who have above ordinary talents and intelligence. They are all gifted.

Gavin was struck by lightning when he heard Lady Boss’ words. He thought pretending to say Starlight was in trouble would make Lady Boss stop asking about Boss Evan. Apparently, he was wrong. It was precisely his careless words that made Lady Boss panic.

"L-Lady Boss... don’t worry too much. There’s another assistant who will help Boss Evan." Gavin hurriedly replied to her and led them to enter the building. "Let’s go! The person in charge is already waiting for us...."

Rose follows Gavin, but her heart still feels uneasy. "Gavin, are you sure Evan will be fine?"

"Yes, Lady Boss!" He answered firmly. Trying to make eye contact with her to convince her.

Rose felt a little bit relieved to hear that.

Before long, they followed one of the staff, who escorted them to the meeting room. As the door opened, a tall, fat middle-aged man with a round face stood up from his chair. The man walked towards the door with his broad smile as he greeted Gavin.

"Wow! Mr. Gavin Riddle..." Bo Harrison, a high-ranking government official, offered his big hand to Gavin for a handshake, "You don’t have to bother coming here, sir. Just call me, and I’ll handle all the problems...." His booming laugh echoed through the empty meeting room. Then he asked Gavin to sit down after receiving a cold face from him.

The meeting table is rectangular, long, and can accommodate 20 people on each opposite side. But on the short side, it has only one seat, a boss seat. Now it looks enormous because only 5 people are at the table.

Gavin and others sit in line, and opposite them seat Bo Harrison with his fake smile still graceful on his round, oily face. The arrogance of his facial expression was evident. This man didn’t have any interest in other people. He only looked at Gavin as if only he and Gavin were in the room.
