Iris grabbed Justin’s hand and pulled him into a corner. When she saw Xavier and Niles continue on their path to class, she took a deep breath, her tension easing slightly.

"Justin, please, don’t let Xavier in on this matter," Iris said in hushed tones. Even though no one was nearby, she kept her voice low to ensure only Justin could hear.

However, Justin didn’t catch a single word Iris uttered at that moment. He was engaged in an inner conversation with Xavier.

’Hurry up! Keep it brief. Don’t linger talking with her,’ Xavier’s icy voice echoed in Justin’s mind.

Justin almost choked hearing her words.

"Oops, my bad," he grinned. "I was lost in thought. What’s up? What were you asking me again?"

’Heaven! Please hold my anger, god,’ she prays. Somehow she felt if she had to look at Justin’s foolish face for another second, her emotions would’ve gone out of control.

Iris let out a deep sigh before telling him her questions from earlier.

"Where’s my car? When can you deliver it to my house? I’m in quite a hurry and really need that car. Could you manage to bring it today or tomorrow?"

"Iris, you’re so damn lucky," Justin said, clapping his hands with a broad smile gracing his face. "Guess what? This morning, the car’s owner happened to bring the car over to my place. How’s that? I can drop it off at your house tonight, cool?" he continues.

"Wow, for real?" Iris’ eyes lit up with excitement. "Justin, there’s no need to bother bringing the car over to me. Xavier asked me to go to his house, so I will..." Her voice trailed off as her phone buzzed, displaying Xavier’s name on the screen.

’Why is he calling?’ Iris pondered to herself as she glanced at Justin. "We better head to class now," she said, then briskly walked back to the classroom while answering Xavier’s call.

"Halow Xavier?"

"Are you done?" His remarkably cool voice echoed from the other end.

"Hmm, I’m on my way to class now." She quickened her pace, leaving Justin to catch up with her.

"Good! Speed it up; our class will start soon!"

Iris chuckled as Xavier ended the call abruptly. She hurried to class, trying not to be late like she was yesterday.

While in the class.

The classroom was nearly full, and the professor hadn’t arrived yet. Students chatted with friends and engaged in various activities while waiting. Three girls conversed in hushed tones in the middle of the rows, occasionally glancing at the back row where Xavier and Niles were seated.

"You both said Xavier has finally accepted Iris’ feelings?" Ruby, a girl with long blonde hair sitting between her friends, Mia and Bianca, asked in a slightly sharp tone. Her expression clearly showed her displeasure with the shocking gossip news.
