Iris was surprised when she arrived at their house. She saw her brother Eric waiting for them on the veranda. He looked healthy. His white polo shirt made his face look brighter, but a trace of worry flashed through his eyes when he saw their car approaching.

Xavier had explained her sudden departure to Eric a month ago. That time, Xavier tells Eric that she has work to do in another country. And the area is so remote that it is difficult to contact her. Luckily, Eric believed Xavier and didn’t ask any more questions.

Iris glances at Xavier, who is driving the car, "Can we just tell him that we are not human?"

Xavier parked the car before looking at her, "Of course, dear. Haven’t you been the one who wanted to hide your identity all this time?"

"Hmm, you’re right," Iris smiled slightly; she was the one who wanted to hide her identity because, at that time, her status was still a member of God Helpers.

Iris was worried that she would be punished if she revealed her identity. However, now that she was no longer active there, she didn’t need to worry about the consequences.

Xavier helped unbuckle her seat belt.

"Iris, don’t keep your brother waiting too long," Xavier said as he moved closer to her; he kissed her cheek gently.

Suprised by his sudden kiss, she didn’t say anything else, just smiled.

Eric, who couldn’t wait, immediately approached the car when Iris opened the door.

"Sister, thank God you are finally back." He said worriedly. "Come here. Let me check whether you are okay or not." He continued looking at Iris from head to toe to ensure she was indeed well. Looking at Eric’s act, she could only laugh slightly, who now tried to scan her entire body.

"Brother Eric, trust me, I’m fine," Iris said. She feels warm inside with his concern. This reminds Iris of when Eric took her from the orphanage. Since then, he has become her protector and teacher at the same time.

He teaches her so many things to become a thoughtful and brave woman. He would stay there to help and protect her whenever she was injured or in trouble. That’s why she sometimes thought Eric was like her real brother even though they didn’t share the same blood.

Eric feels relieved after hearing her words and doesn’t say any injury to her.

He looked at her and smiled warmly, "Where have you been, sister?" He was curious to know what she had done in the past month. Why does she go to a secluded place? He couldn’t even contact her phone for more than a month.

"Brother, let’s get inside first," Iris didn’t answer him immediately. She led him to enter their house.

So many think she wanted to share with him, especially about her identity. But she needs to find a quiet place to talk. However, she was surprised to see Silvana sitting with Niles and Justin after reaching the living room.

Instantly, they all looked towards her with shocked expressions. Iris knew they were only pretending because Eric was among them. They knew she had arrived long before her car entered the main gate.

"OMG!! Iris, you finally come back..." Justin gasped in shock when he saw her. He stood from his seat and walked to her in a rush. Before he could pull Iris into his embrace, a hand pulled him back away from Iris.

’Damn! Don’t overdo it, Justin!’ Niles shoots him a warning gaze, and Justin responds to him with a slight grin. Then he looks at Iris with an awkward smile and offers his handshake.

"Iris, welcome back. I’m happy you finally come back." Niles said calmly but hugged her swiftly to shock everyone in the room with his gentle gesture toward someone, a woman.

Never once did Niles show this side of him to Iris and other people around him, but this time, he really needed to hug her because, for the past month, he felt utterly worried, knowing the Demon King kidnapped her. He thought he would never see her again.

’Fuck!! Did you just declare war with me, Niles!?’ Justin flared because earlier, Niles had stopped him. ’Ah, you also seeking death from Lord Xavier!?’

Instantly, Niles’s face turns grim. He releases Iris and moves away from her, knowing someone has just stated his punishment. He didn’t say anything but accept that.

Still shocked by Niles hugging her, Iris quickly cleared her throat before thanking them for their warm welcome.

Then Iris walked towards Silvana and whispered, "Aunty Silvana, I need to discuss something with you about medicine for my brother."

Silvana was surprised to hear Iris calling her that; this was what Iris had called her when they were in the middle realm. She immediately took her hand and gently patted it. She was delighted to realize this girl had finally gotten her memories back. Unable to speak, she just nodded slowly to respond to her.

"Wait for me in your room; I’ll see you soon. I need to talk with Eric first..."

"Hmm," Silvana said and left the living room.

Iris also asked everyone to leave her with Eric, including Xavier. She wants to be honest with Eric about her true identity and what happened to him recently.

However, several minutes had passed sitting in the large, empty living room, and the two just looked at each other; no one made any sounds or started the conversation.

Iris didn’t know where to start. She was still trying to form words so that Eric wouldn’t be too shocked by what she was about to say.

Meanwhile, Eric refrained from asking about the confusion he had been feeling lately. He feels his mind is about to explode; he senses someone has possessed him, and he also feels like he has strange dreams every day he wakes up from his sleep.

It makes him anxious, and, at the same time, he feels unsafe to live in this place; he wants to ask Iris to send him back to the island.
