Chapter 236: Are You Trying To Kill Him!?

Iris’ legs felt weak seeing Justin in danger. She immediately stood up. With an annoyed and worried look, she looked at Gavriel.

"Are you going to let him die!?"

Gavriel, "..."

"Damn it, what are you doing? Do you hate him that much?" She said while throwing another sharp glare at Gavriel. After taking a deep breath, she continues, "Gavriel, if you dislike him, please don’t send that poor kid to be eaten by a bear."

"Iris, you misunderstand—" Gavriel could not finish his words, left speechless by her following words.

"Please stop this hell training, Gavriel..." Her voice brimmed with irritation, fists clenched in annoyance. "I will be mad at you if you continue!"

Gavriel was taken aback, witnessing Iris’s anger for the first time. Her anger was unsettling yet strangely captivating.

"Ugh, please, do something..." Iris was frustrated when Gavriel just looked at her, doing nothing. "Damn it! If you don’t want to... I’ll go—" she couldn’t bear to see Justin become a black bear’s dinner.

Gavriel disappeared from his place and appeared right before Iris, blocking her way.

"Stop! Don’t go, Iris!" he said, looking at Iris. "You will ruin my method of awakening his ability if you help him now. Let his instinct help him to survive in this dangerous situation. Trust me, he will not die; that bear is not strong. With Justin’s punch, he will send that bear flying and die."

Iris gasped in surprise, hearing Gavriel’s sentence. Now, she is starting to understand why Gavriel looks so calm. However, she still thinks his method is way too harsh for someone with a mind like a four-year-old child.

She knows Justin is not a weakling; he is more potent than her now, but she still feels frightened.

"Gavriel, you..." Iris’s voice slowly faded. She couldn’t continue her words, feeling annoyed because this man hadn’t informed her about his plan, causing her unnecessary stress and worry.

"What?" Gavriel grinned at her.

"Damn it! You should at least inform me before you carry out your plan..." she uttered, lifting her hand, grabbing Gavriel by the collar, and pushing him aside.

"Tsk, Ms. Darkwood, what a bully..." Gavriel chuckled, steadying himself as he almost stumbled when Iris pushed him away.

"You’re blocking my view!" Iris responded sharply. "And you—" Her voice faded as Justin suddenly appeared before them, leaving her utterly shocked.

’G-Gavriel, you... you are right... Your method was a success!’ Iris couldn’t believe what she saw; Justin teleported.

’Hahaha... I know... I know... No need to thank me. This little imp finally could—’ Gavriel’s words halted as he saw Justin swiftly advancing towards him, his gaze terrifyingly intense. ’Bloody hell!! Why does he look so angry? Shit! Why did he attack me!?’

’Because you make him angry,’ Iris smiled, looking at Justin’s dash to Gavriel like he was about to kill him.

"Aren’t you ashamed, Gavriel? You said you are my teacher, but how could you do that to me?" Justin snapped, his hand raised as Gavriel was thrown into the air. "How dare you ignore me! How dare you not show up after I called you so many times?" He continued. His eyes were blazing, and a murderous aura radiated from his entire being.

’Iris, stop him. Or I might kill him today!’ Gavriel’s urgent plea resonated in Iris’s mind.

Iris, "..."

’You deserved it!’ Iris retorted, watching Gavriel land gracefully on the ground, finding some amusement in his annoyed glare.

Not wishing to test Gavriel’s patience further, Iris immediately turned her attention to Justin, who was still seething at Gavriel.

"Stop, Justin!" Iris’s commanding voice echoed in the air. When she caught Justin’s gaze, she manipulated his mind to freeze, to stay in his place.

"You should thank Gavriel for what he’s done. If he hadn’t put you in such danger, your memories might never have returned. Now, you can teleport, and your other abilities have resurfaced. You can escape from the bear easily without getting any harm..."

Justin was stunned by Iris’s words. It was only now that he realized his strength had returned. He could teleport to this place before he defeated the bear with his bare hands.

"Damn! It’s... It’s working!" Justin checked his palms, noticing a faint glow. As he recognized his regained power, he turned to Gavriel apologetically.

"Brother Gavriel, no... I mean, Master Gavriel... I’m sorry... I never intended to beat you—" Justin could only manage a grin, knowing Gavriel was intentionally ignoring him, clearly angry.

"Iris, bring him away from my sight. My duty here was done!" Gavriel said and walked into his house, leaving Justin and Iris to exchange smiles as they saw sulky Gavriel walk away.

After a few moments, they only stare at the tightly closed door.

Iris is the one who breaks the silence. She glances at Justin. "So you already remember everything?" she curiously asked.

"Pretty Sister Iris, I still do not remember anything..." He faintly smiled at her.

"Stop calling me like that, or this time you will lose your head," Iris responds to him with annoyance. "Don’t try to fool me, Justin. Telling the truth!"

Justin looked at Iris with a complicated look. "Pretty sister, the truth is, I haven’t remembered anything..."

"WHAT!?" Iris was shocked. At that moment, Gavriel appeared next to her.

"What happened, Iris?" Gavriel asked, panicking when he saw her face turn gloomy again.

"Gavriel..." Iris glanced at him. Disappointment flashes through her gaze before she continues, "Justin still doesn’t remember anything..."

"Impossible!!" Gavriel replied. He asked Justin, "Are you sure you don’t remember?"

Justin nodded slowly, taking a deep breath. "I only remember using my abilities, but I don’t remember anything..." he said in a low tone while turning to see Iris, "Pretty sister... Hug me... I feel so sad now." He said, then opened his arms to hug Iris.

Gavriel frowned. He felt strange seeing Justin asking for an embrace.

Iris was speechless.

Why does he suddenly need a hug!? Even though she was puzzled, she couldn’t refuse him. Just a simple hug; it’s not a big deal.

Iris accepted his embrace, but Justin’s body suddenly stopped just a few inches from her before their bodies met.

Justin was shocked. He glanced at Iris and Gavriel in shock, "Huh!? Why—" Before Justin finished his words, his body was thrown backward at full speed.
