"Demon was not a human, not a person... They are evil creatures. I can still kill them, right?"

Xavier was speechless.

"Silent means YES!" Iris teased him in the manner he usually did to her.

Xavier, "..."

"Alright, but you are not allowed to kill innocent people, only the Demon. Even dark wizards can’t because they are human, even though they are evil." He didn’t have a chance to check the location first because he couldn’t refuse her when she looked cute like now.

Xavier silently sighed as he remembered what Lucian had told him a few months ago: that Iris was his weakness.

"Yes, milord..." Iris grinned, feeling happy. Finally, she could return to her guild, meet a few of her partners, and try to find Eric there.

She knew they had many hiding places underground, and only a few select members knew about it. As Eric’s trusted confidante, she was aware of all the hiding places below. And somehow, she believed the Demon had detained Eric in one of those locations.

Xavier smiled, observing how playful she was. He drew his face closer, wanting to kiss her, but a sound, "DING!" suddenly stopped him. Simultaneously, Iris abruptly stood and ran toward her computer table.

"What happened, Iris?" He asked while following her.

"My system found Eric’s latest location... Well, I mean the fake Eric," she pressed something on the keyboard, and suddenly, Eric appeared on all the monitors — He got out of his car and walked toward the Shadow building.

Iris felt grateful because, in their guild, no one could beat her hacking skills; that’s why she could access all the CCTV cameras outside and inside the guild.

Not only access, but because she was the one who created the protection and computerized system in the guild, she could freely check everything inside.

"I’m so happy this Demon has not found any skilled hacker... They are so stupid!" Iris said. Her gaze was fixed on the monitor, watching the fake Eric enter his office.

She could see a few familiar figures in Eric’s office but didn’t know whether they were all still human or had turned evil. She could only know that if she faced them directly.

"Or are they so stupid enough to know about the CCTV in the room?" Xavier said.

Iris was startled, "You’re right, they might not notice it. Because I’m the one who installed a few CCTV cameras in that place, and only Eric knows about the hidden cameras I set up. We placed them there for security purposes. And—" Suddenly, Iris felt goosebumps when something crossed her mind.

"And what?" Xavier asked, observing her shocked expression.

"They have not found my workspace yet? I mean, I also have a control room in there," Iris said. "No one except me could access that place. Not even Eric can enter because it requires my fingerprint, retinal scan, and other security measures. Unless they destroy the wall, they won’t find it."

"That’s why you can still freely access your system," Xavier remarked.

"Yes, maybe!" Her eyes beamed as she looked at Xavier. "Can we go there? Now?"

Xavier smiled faintly at her. He had no reason to hold her back. "Of course. Come..." He offered his hand and then vanished. They returned to his mansion to ask Justin, and the others followed them.

Justin was shocked to see Xavier and Iris reappear in the mansion.

"Milord, do you want to teach them now!?" Justin was excited. He thought they would go there after a few days, but it seemed they would go faster.

"Not me, but her..." Xavier said, looking at Iris, who widened her eyes in surprise at his words.

"Me!? Didn’t you tell me not to kill innocent people?" She asked, confused. Why now, he asks her to teach them?

Xavier didn’t immediately respond but held her hand before continuing, "Yes. My darling can still teach them without killing, right!?" Xavier calmly replied to her.

Hearing his words, Iris can’t help but laugh. She feels so happy, "Hahaha... This means I could torture them?"

"Yes, yes... My lady can do anything she wants," Xavier said.

Justin was left speechless by what he heard.

"So, what are we waiting for? Let’s go!" Iris couldn’t wait to return to her guild.

But before they could depart, Justin stopped them.

"Wait! Milord. You... You’re bringing Lady Iris there!?" He still felt shocked that his lord was allowing Iris to follow them. Countless questions filled Justin’s mind.

’My Lord, you were the one who worried about Lady Iris’s safety. But earlier, you mentioned that she is the one who would handle the Demon and Dark Wizard!?’ Justin asked Xavier through his mind, afraid Iris might hear.

Xavier frowned, looking at Justin. He didn’t reply to him through his mind but spoke loudly, "Yes. And you will assist her. I will stay behind, invisible..."

Justin’s confusion deepened upon hearing his answer, "Milord, I’m not afraid to fight with my life there, but what about Lady Iris? You know our enemy this time is a powerful wizard, right?"

"Don’t worry; I will open the gate for you all to enter. I will remain invisible because I don’t want them to escape before we identify who’s behind who sent that Demon to kill her..." Xavier explained while looking at Iris.

Iris finally understood his reason for not allowing her to go there initially because he wanted to investigate who was responsible for her death.

She completely forgot about it because she was focused on finding Eric’s whereabouts. Now, Xavier’s mention of her killer, the one who sent the Demon to kill her, made her incredibly curious to know.

Justin was stunned. Xavier was indeed correct. If he were to appear, their enemies would likely flee or even take their lives before they could be questioned.

"Milord, forgive my insensitivity. I now understand..." Justin slightly bowed. Then he looked at Iris, "I trust you can defeat them all, Milady." He grinned when he saw her proudly smiling.

"Justin, there’s no need to bring many people; just two people is enough," said Xavier.

"Yes, milord..."
