Iris immediately told him about Ruby Winters and what she had heard just now: that Ruby and Dudley Velcoro would meet in Ruby’s hotel room.

Iris looked at her watch, then she smiled at Gavriel, "I think it will be in a moment. That woman just left this place... We can go too. They will meet in her hotel room," she said while eyeing Ruby, who was now walking on the street and hailing a taxi.

"You didn’t wait for Dudley Velcoro?" Gavriel was surprised to learn that Iris had casually left her target to follow another person.

What if what she had planned failed? And her target disappeared? She would lose a lot of time looking for that man, right?

Gavriel glanced at her, curious to know her answer.

"No need to wait for him. I heard them talking over the phone. And after I confirmed it just now, I know that man will be leaving his office—" she said, gesturing to Gavriel to look in a specific direction. "—Now!"

When Gavriel followed her line of sight, he saw Dudley Velcoro riding a black SUV just out of the gate of his office.

"Perfect timing, let’s go!" Gavriel said. He stood from his chair and left before Iris.

She could only smile and follow Gavriel’s giant stride toward their car.

"Which hotel?" asked Gavriel as he started the car.

"Why are you asking me? You can use your God Eye to follow him, right?" Iris frowned, looking at him.

"Iris Gray, did you forget about something?" He sharply stares at her. "This is not my mission; I can’t help you like that..." he said, shaking his head and gazing at the street ahead.

"Oops, sorry, senior... I forgot," Iris said while grinning.

She didn’t want to annoy him, so she immediately input their destination into the GPS device. Soon, the directions appeared.

"It’s so close; we only need ten minutes to drive..." Iris said, then looked ahead. She used her god eye to spot Dudley’s car. She could see he was wearing casual clothes now; he looked like an undercover agent.
