Luo Qianqian took out a pendant first—it was one of the Olympic mascots. She distributed one to everyone around her and to other good friends: "I went to Capital City during the holidays. I wasn’t sure what to bring back, so I hope no one minds." The boys received crystal pendants, and the girls got fist-sized plush dolls. Pei Yuhao, Pei Yutian, You Yong, Sui Jiao all got one. In total, she brought ten—five for the boys and five for the girls. There was one left for the boys and two for the girls. After a moment’s thought, she took the two pendants, one for a boy and one for a girl, and approached Shen Yan, "For you, these are souvenirs. Please don’t look down on them."
