Chapter 77: Blood Azure Beast Core
Chapter 77: Blood Azure Beast Core
Celis found that the entire area around him was not dark; instead, it was filled with swirling azure flames—aggressive and powerful, crashing into him and burning him.
"Arg!" he roared, not expecting to be overwhelmed by anything—he hadn’t imagined that the Eye would belong to an actual beast!
"Calm down, I just need to break through!" he muttered to himself. If he could break through into the Essence Forge, he could finally leave the Azure world—at least until he devised a method to escape the massive beast that surrounded him.
Closing his eyes, he felt the tremors in his body grow increasingly chaotic. His Cyralim was engulfed in azure flames, and the energy within him surged uncontrollably. He couldn’t contain it.
"I won’t contain it then!" With a deep breath, a powerful suction force pulled even more Azure essence into his Cyralim. Cracks began to appear on its surface as it prepared to implode.
"Come on!" he roared inwardly. And then—crack! His Cyralim burst apart.
Celis vomited blood as he felt his body being consumed by the Azure essence. The essence seeped into his blood, bones, skin, and muscles, merging with him. In a desperate bid, the barely conscious Celis shoved his hand into his chest, piercing it. The Orb—a vital organ of the cultivator’s body—yielded its fragments into his grasp.
Unlike ordinary organs, the Cyralim was unique; it contained an entire world within.
Gathering all the pieces, and with the gaping, burning wound in his chest, Celis directed as much Azure essence as he could toward the fragments. This was his only chance: to shatter his Cyralim and reforge it with Azure essence, fusing himself with that essence and the world beyond.
It was risky, and he had only a short window of time—without the Cyralim, the essence would attack his physical body, and he would soon be burned alive.
"A bit... more!" Gritting his teeth one last time, he sent every bit of essence he could toward the fragments. His bloodied hand began to merge with the essence, becoming one with the Azure energy. A bloody, azure flame emerged, slowly reassembling the Cyralim.
When the process was complete, the Cyralim was no longer a crystal orb—it had transformed into a bloody Azure sun. Chaotic yet controlled, it was powerful and heavy, yet bloodthirsty. It was not merely Azure essence.
"Blood Azure?" Celis gasped in shock as the once-pure azure flames were now stained crimson. A vast, radiant sun appeared on his palm and was then driven into the gaping wound in his chest.
"AH!" A painful screech erupted, and his vision blurred, yet he held on. The new Blood Azure sun had found its place within him, purging all the Azure essence and converting it into Blood Azure. Through his very blood network, he felt the changes surge—a wild, chaotic strength flowing within him.
Opening his eyes, Celis looked around; he found himself once again in the sky, and the chaotic world around him now seemed... peaceful. The Azure dragon was gone, the chaos had subsided, leaving only the serene movement of Azure essence.
"What is going on?" he wondered as he landed, only to discover that his body was completely healed. But the most astonishing change was the Blood Azure sun within him.
"I have a Beast Core in me?" he murmured in disbelief. The Blood Azure sun not only contained a new Cyralim for him but now also functioned as a beast core.
Unlike a full Cyralim, a beast core is more integrated with the body—it fortifies strength by merging with the very essence of the world. In the same realm, beasts are favored for their direct connection to the world; they are vastly more powerful than ordinary beings.
Celis was now that type of being. With the beast core inside him, he had the world’s support and immense strength. Similar to Yur, he now possessed almost unlimited access to Azure essence—in his case, Blood Azure essence, which proved even more potent than pure Azure essence.
Closing his eyes once more, Celis concentrated on moving the Blood Azure essence within him. He felt physical changes taking hold: two large blue horns sprouted from his head, and azure dragon wings, now stained red, emerged from his back. His ears sharpened, fangs grew, and his eyes transformed—one became crimson, the other remained Azure.
Unlike the form he had used to fight Prince Aglazeth—an ephemeral shape formed by essence—these changes were now physical, an integral part of his body.
"Holy fuck!" he exclaimed as the power surged within him. The Blood Azure essence spiked and trembled, and the once-light Azure essence now felt weightless and agile.
He had achieved his goal despite the risks and dangers.
"Essence Forge!" he roared, the culmination of his transformation.

Yur walked through the halls with Prince Renri. "My family will be there, as well as a few others. I hope that isn’t a problem," the prince explained with a smile. "They all wanted to thank you for what you did for me and for us."
"I have no issues with that," Yur nodded.
Renri returned the nod and then turned his gaze toward the two maids. Though they appeared unchanged at first glance, he could detect a subtle transformation—they seemed even more beautiful than before. They walked closer to Yur than to him, a small detail that did not escape his notice.
A smirk tugged at Renri’s lips. "Sir Yur, if you like these Tri Maids, I shall gift them to you."
In his mind, he acknowledged that they would serve Yur well—transforming into loyal aides was a change he appreciated.
"I shall take you up on that offer then," Yur replied with a nod. "But perhaps not right now—I am a busy man, and keeping them around might complicate matters."
"Worry not. They are trained not only to serve but also to survive and navigate the world. They know the geography of this region and the entire continent, along with a wealth of information that could be invaluable for your travels. I guarantee their utility," explained Renri.
Yur paused to consider; his greatest challenge was the lack of reliable information. Zul knew only so much and was restricted from revealing more. Having assistants with comprehensive knowledge would be extremely useful.
Though he could repurpose the maids for various needs, this new information convinced him it was best to keep them close.
"Very well, I shall not reject them," Yur finally agreed, and the group continued until they reached a set of large doors.
Guards pushed the doors open to reveal a grand banquet setup, with a few dozen people gathered—young and old alike.
