Chapter 76: The Eye

Chapter 76: The Eye

[Small R-18 Scene towards the end, can skip if not wanted!]

Celis traversed the Azure realm at a rapid pace. His goal was the Eye—the most volatile and chaotic region in the world. Since he couldn’t fly, he sprinted, doing his best to avoid the numerous creatures lurking about. Fortunately, the closer he approached the Eye, the fewer beings there were to dodge; it seemed that all life avoided this chaotic region.

"This will be my one and only shot," he sighed, knowing the risks would be immense once he reached the Eye and began the breakthrough into the next rank. Soon enough, he arrived at the edge of the current region, where one more step would thrust him into the Eye itself. He stood there, staring at the flashing blue lightning and listening to the roar of the wind.

The white clouds appeared ominous, with dark blue flames darting about like wild creatures. Although there were beings within the region, they were far too powerful for him to detect properly; he could only catch fleeting glimpses in the lightning flashes, each revealing their colossal size beyond imagination.

He stood atop a rock, tightening his grip as hesitation gripped him. "I must do this," he declared, trying to convince himself.

Stepping forward, he felt the aura around him surge immediately—as if the world were collapsing. His legs buckled, and he fell to his knees. It was just one step!

Gritting his teeth, he forced himself to move deeper into the Eye. The further he crawled, the more overwhelming the pressure became.

"AH!" His kneecaps began to crack under the strain, and he collapsed to the ground, the pulsing pain in his knees searing through him. Blood seeped from his mouth, yet he pressed on slowly, managing only a few more meters before the pressure became unbearable. His body shivered under the crushing force, leaving him unable to rise.

"This is it! I need to forge the Azure Sun!"

With an inward howl, his hair suddenly burst into blue flames that erupted around him. The surge of power allowed him to sit up.

"ARG!" Crimson blood splattered on the ground as the pressure continued to shake his body, and the pain from his cracked kneecaps intensified. Although the realm tried to heal him, it couldn’t keep pace with the damage.

Closing his eyes, Celis found himself transported to his Cyralim, where an empty blue sky stretched overhead. He lifted his hand, and flames shot upward.

"AH!" The moment he unleashed the flames into the skies of his Cyralim, Azure essence from the Azure World surged in, causing immense destruction. "Hold on!" With both hands raised, he struggled to contain his unruly azure flames, which threatened to break free.

Outside his Cyralim, a thick torrent of azure essence rushed toward him like a tsunami. Clenching his teeth, he managed to launch himself into the air. Although the onslaught of essence made it difficult, he finally soared upward.

"I must reach the Eye!"

From afar, he could discern a point in the region where the chaos was at its peak—the most unstable part of the Eye, which was exactly what he needed. With blood trickling down his nose and lips, he flew with chaotic speed toward the Eye, which appeared white rather than blue.

"AH!" A surge of potent Azure essence flooded him, intensifying the chaos within his Cyralim. The flames inside him roared out of control, consuming everything in their path—not only within his Cyralim but also his own body, which was beginning to fracture. Were it not for the limited azure flames that enveloped him, he would have collapsed under the pressure and perhaps even died.

"Just a bit more!" he growled as he neared the Eye.

Suddenly, a flash of blue lightning streaked across the sky, and he saw an enormous beast soaring in the air, its gaze fixed on him like that of an ant.

"What is that?" Fear gripped him as a massive eye—dozens of times larger than him—loomed from behind the clouds.

"Is this the Eye?" he wondered.

As he pondered, the clouds behind him trembled and quickly vanished, revealing something that threatened to render him unconscious.

"T-this?!"

It was enormous—an endless expanse that took the shape of a colossal mouth filled with Azure flames, so vast it seemed like a world unto itself. The mouth moved closer, intent on swallowing him whole.

"A-a Dragon!" he screamed internally as the flaming maw snapped shut, engulfing him completely.

"Fyr."

Floating in the air, Nia stood beside a cross‐legged Fyr. "I’m shocked—how are you so powerful?"

Slowly opening his eyes, he regarded her with a calm, bitter gaze. "I was never weak..." he replied. "But next to Celis, everyone else seems weak, don’t you think?"

"That’s true. That guy is a monster," she said, fluttering over to sit on his lap. Wrapping her arms around his neck, she planted a small peck on his cheek.

"What is it?" he asked, slightly puzzled. Spending time with her allowed them to grow closer—not only physically but even emotionally.

"You know, you are a good guy," she said with a gentle smile.

"Am I really?" he murmured bitterly, his thoughts drifting to the friend he’d abandoned and to Celis. Celis... if only I could come to your rescue. I promise, once I am stronger, I will.

Despite these recurring inward thoughts, he never left her side, determined to grow ever stronger while keeping her near.

At this point, he was firmly the most powerful Luminous Heart cultivator after Celis. His control with the spear had improved drastically, and he had also discovered an exceptionally potent essence—only slightly inferior to the Azure essence that Celis wielded.

Lifting his hand, a grey aura danced around his fingers. "To think I would discover Duskgrave essence!" he murmured. Although not every type of essence was named, he recognized this one immediately—as if it possessed its own identity.

"The stronger you are, the better for me," Nia observed, her eyes bright with admiration as she studied the swirling essence.

"And why is that?" he asked, releasing the essence and raising an eyebrow.

"You’re going to take care of me in the future, aren’t you?" she said with a teasing smile. "I want you—nothing more, nothing less."

"So you want to depend on me?" he replied bitterly. "Do you not care about growing stronger yourself?"

"Not really," she admitted as her legs wrapped around his waist, drawing her face closer. "You should know I cultivate only to attract your attention. I want you, and nothing else."

He gazed at her, then at her inviting pink lips, before his eyes drifted to her chest teasing him.

"You’re welcome to do more than just look," she purred seductively. "I am yours."

He gulped as he felt his desire stir. Her entire being captivated him—her eyes, her chest, her legs, her voice.

"After we rank up, let’s go public. I don’t want to leave your side," she whispered, pressing her soft curves against him.

"Are you sure?" he asked, his tone conflicted. Despite his harsh words, Fyr was genuinely interested in Nia; she was the only one who had ever caught his eye.

"More than sure," she replied, her hand slipping under his shirt.

Feeling her tender touch and the gentle tickle of her nails on his chest, a fire ignited within him. "Want to have fun or dual cultivate?" he asked, as he began to remove her clothes.

Over the following days, they dual cultivated together, a process that allowed them to absorb essence much faster—sharing their energy as if it were one. The downside, of course, was that dual cultivation bound them exclusively to one another: a mark was imprinted on each, ensuring that if either strayed, their private regions would burn in excruciating pain. Thus, they truly could only be with each other.

"I want to have fun!" she moaned softly, as his rough hands squeezed her ample breasts, eliciting a sharp cry from her. "Squeeze it harder!"

"You really love it rough, don’t you?" he smirked, lowering his head to bite her neck while tightening his grip on her breasts.

"Ah!" she moaned, overwhelmed by the painful yet addictive sensation. "You like it rough too—I know you do!" With her eyes closed, she reveled in the feeling of his lips on her skin.

"Being rough with you is the best," he murmured as he carried her to the ground, pinning her gently yet possessively. Removing her top, he bit the soft, pink tips of her breasts. "Ah!" she yelped, the sensation both painful and exquisite.

"Now, suck it!" she commanded, her voice trembling with both desire and challenge.

Fyr continued with relentless passion, devouring her with every possibility. Their shared ecstasy was raw and unrestrained—a moment of dual cultivation that bonded them irrevocably.
