Chapter 146: Again at the Hotel
Chapter 146: Again at the Hotel
Martin looked closely at the plastic card Karl was holding. In fact, it looked like a magnetic key and had the ’Baronet’ hotel logo on it.
So Karl was handing him the key to Steve’s hotel room?
"I thought you ..." Martin muttered in confusion.
"I what? That I forbid you from meeting? That I will lock him up in some tower from you as if he were a princess? " Karl mocked.
"No, I..."
"You’re right, I am not convinced that you are a good couple, but this is your life. You are adult men and have the right to make your own decisions. And I have no right to interfere. "
"But you’re a friend of Steve’s and I know he cares about you a lot."
Walton smiled, but there was something sad about that smile.
"A friend is a good word," Karl announced. "But don’t you think that you are a bit higher for him in the order of importance? Take this key. The hotel staff respects the privacy of guests and their guests, so if anyone asks, just show them the key. "
Martin picked up a plastic card and felt like he was holding a key to another world. He had been inside the ’Baronet’ hotel only once and although the situation was not conducive to sightseeing at the time, the boy saw a beautifully decorated interior, where probably one armchair cost four times as much as all the furniture in his apartment. Or even more.
"It’s the same apartment as before," Walton recalled. "Do you remember the number?"
"Yes. Thank you."
It is true that Martin fled the hotel like a thief, not paying too much attention to where he was and what was going on, he just wanted to leave that place as soon as possible, but for some reason it was imprinted in his memory extremely strongly.
"And one more thing," Karl added. Martin stopped looking at the electronic key and looked into Walton’s eyes. "Steve ... He might be ... Hmm, how to say ... He might be a little anxious. You understand. This attack, a forced break from the track ... "
"I understand and know about his past. Steve told me that you and Mrs. Larissa have helped him a lot and that he is grateful to you for that. "
"He really said that?" Karl wondered.
"Yes" Martin confirmed smiling brightly. "He also said that he should pay you back somehow and that he felt guilty for not being able to do it. I know Steve is a little more sensitive to stress than everyone else thinks he is, he admits that he is getting a lot better. It is most certainly thanks to you and your aunt, because you were always there when he needed you. Steve can’t show his gratitude properly yet, but he’s slowly moving in that direction. "
Walton looked at Martin as if he wanted to say something, but he gave up and just shook his head. The boy thought he saw admiration in his boss’s eyes. But it was impossible.
Even so, Martin blushed and looked shyly downward.
"You were worried that when Steve had a sudden incident I would panic, right?" He asked. Martin didn’t know if it was Walton’s concern for him or Paxton, but he enjoyed both of them.
"In a way," Karl admitted and grunted. "Steve has hardly had incidents anymore, but recently ..."
"I know, it was because of me." The mere mention of that moment made Martin feel guilty. "But now I understand everything and will act responsibly. When I saw the blade dig into Steve ... If it had actually come to the worst then, I would have gone crazy. Really. So I understand that when Hannah had an accident ... Please don’t worry, I won’t make a similar mistake. I’ll take care of Steve. I promise. "
"But if you encounter a situation where you don’t know what to do, contact me or Anna, my fiancée. You remember her?"
"Yes but..."
"Anna manages the hotel and knows everything about Steve’s situation," Walton explained. "She will know what to do. So don’t panic, just call one of us. Do you understand?"
Martin felt a great warmth in his heart. Despite his plight and difficult character, Steve Paxton was never really alone. He had good people around him who genuinely cared for his welfare and happiness. People like Karl Walton who, despite their objections, were able to accept a friend’s heartfelt choices and help the person he dislikes with caring for Paxton. Karl was a really lovely, devoted friend.
"I understand," admitted Martin, "and thank you. You have a lot more experience and a lot more knowledge about Steve, so if something more serious comes up, please help me. "
"Well. Now go to him, because he will be impatient he may do some damage to the hotel. Oh, and one more thing." Karl stopped him just as Martin was about to leave.
"Yes, Mr. Walton?"
"How was your first day at your new job?"
Martin beamed at him.
"Like a dream," he announced. "Like a dream."
Adrenaline was filling Martin all over. This day was extremely exciting, and it was not over yet!
It turned out, however, that getting to the ’Baronet’ hotel is a communication nightmare. Perhaps having his own car, the whole journey would take him no more than half an hour, but on public transport, having two changes and waiting for the next bus, Martin lost almost an hour and a half. The boy even began to wonder if he would get there faster on foot. So his mood began to deteriorate significantly, but as soon as he remembered what the prize awaited him at the end of this arduous road, his eyes lit up again with a bright, serene light that attracted the attention of passersby.
Martin is finally meeting Steve outside the hospital!
Martin’s excitement about it was one hundred percent natural and understandable. Who wouldn’t be happy to meet in private with the person who was the pupil in his eye and the beating of his heart? Who wouldn’t feel almost crazy joy at the mere thought of being able to touch his hand, his cheek, his ...
Here Martin grunted, because he himself was still in a public place and his thoughts were already carrying him decisively into areas that absolutely required privacy. The blush on Martin’s face was too much of an eye-catcher, and in addition, Martin got the impression that not only his cheeks began to pour blood. At one point, he even felt his pants getting a little too tight. If anyone notices this, Martin will literally burn with shame!
Martin, however, had to bravely make it to the end of his journey and cool down in front of the hotel. If Steve sees what state Martin is in, he will definitely not let his wound heal and he will try something crazy. Something absolutely, wonderfully sexy ...
No no no! Martin was a human being, a very conscious being, endowed with a certain amount of intelligence, and not some animal hungry of lust. Of course he will be able to control his body’s desires! Only animals can’t control their lusts when they meet a willing partner... And apparently men in love too, because every second Martin tried to calm down, his thirst grew more and more.
If a woman were waiting for him, it would be completely different. The woman made him lust (at least it had been before he met Steve) but the natural respect he felt for this sex was a drag on him. The women were beautiful and delicate. Yes, they were the objects of desire and he fantasized about them often, but the respect he felt for them prevented him from thinking about them in such a promiscuous way. Meanwhile, Steve was different.
Completely different.
Martin, of course, had a great respect for Paxton both professionally and privately. Steve, however, was a strong, determined man who didn’t need to be handled delicately. Besides, it was Paxton himself who outlined the direction and type of relationship between the two clearly indicating that sex in their relationship is as natural as breathing. The place for shame between them has long ceased to exist, turning their relationship into something where the sexual drive was something natural and not only acceptable, but even desirable. All conventions between them simply ceased to exist. So the very thought of having sex between them became completely natural.
Paxton, however, had to recover first. It was a priority. There will be time for some crazy fun. All they need to do now is kiss and hold their hands. They were able to control themselves in the hospital, they will be able to do it now.
It was with this approach that Martin stepped outside the door of the hotel suite where Steve Paxton now lived.
Martin wondered whether to knock or use the key? Having a key authorized him to enter without knocking, but this was his first visit to Steve’s room... (well, kind of like the first) and it was courtesy to knock. On the other hand, if Paxton was currently resting, knocking might get in the way.
Martin reached for a compromise. He knocked, though not very loudly, and reached for the key. He had barely opened the door when he was drawn in by strong, though slender, arms.
"Steve, what are you ...?" Martin tried to ask, but his mouth was suddenly in the Paxton’s possession, strong, wet passion flooding his insides.
The feeling was utterly overwhelming, as if he were in the possession of an unearthly delightful force.
