Chapter 112: Enters the ’Hooded’ Man!

Sharon’s POV—

"That’s his specialty, Sharon," said a new voice.

A shiver ran down my spine when I heard this voice. This was the same voice which I had heard in thar mansion... the ’hooded’ man. How the fuck is he here?!

I jerked my head towards his direction. A man wearing blue and black robes came to my vision. His hair was golden in colour, while his eyes were similar to that of mine. But his face was full of scars. Yet, it didn’t look scary. In a way, those scars complemented his face.

Unlike Rozefde, his aura was full of... darkness. His aura was anything but divine. He was not a god... but looking at Rozefde’s angry face... I am not sure.

"Why are you here?" yelled Rozefde. His voice was full of hatred as if he wanted to tear up that guy into multiple pieces.

The man laughed and tilted his head. "Are you not happy to see me?"

Rozefde clenched his hands at his taunt. Okay, it’s sure there’s some bad blood between them.

The man ignored him and looked at me. His eyes scanned my entire figure as if I was some goddamn object.

I sneered in disgust and asked, "Will you stop looking at me like that? It’s creeping me out."

The man smirked, "Ah, I am sorry. But you can’t hold this against me! Have you seen your body? I mean, it’s making me horny. I would have my way with you if I had given the opportunity. Although, I can just force myself upon you."

Goosebumps appeared all over my body as I took a step back in revulsion. What the fuck is this guy talking about?

"Oh~ Sharon, you shouldn’t react like this! It’s making my heart ache, you know. Are you not scared? Of course you are. But showing bravado in most of the situation is not what you do. Or maybe, you act brave in certain situations... like here in this situation! You are trapped in between two gods, yet you are showing no sign of fear."

I shrugged, "Maybe I lack self-preservation."

The man was stunned at my words. But then, he laughed loudly. "Haha... you are really amusing. Humans like you, really make me happy. A perfect mix of sanity and insanity. I am always impressed by humans like you."

I snorted, "I am glad that I can entertain you but you need to pay me for this ’entertainment,’ right?"

Suddenly, Rozefde said, "Scardothapeus, you are really brave to come here."

’Scardothapeus?’ His name sounds like a dinosaur.

The man, Scardothapeus... er, let’s just call him ’Scardo.’ I mean, the name justifies his scars, and I am not trying to mock him.

Scardo pointed at himself and asked, "Are we talking about bravery again? Just a moment ago, I called her brave, and now, you are calling me."

"STOP FUCKING AROUND AND TELL ME! WHY ARE YOU HERE? ARE YOU HERE TO KILL ME? FINISH THE JOB THAT YOU HAVE STARTED!!" The entire temple shook from his outburst.

"Rozefde, please! This ruin... er, temple will break down from your yelling. Or, you can yell after I leave this ’temple.’ Can you fight after I leave this temple?" I asked them with a pleading voice.

"Ah, you really have no sense of preservation," said Scardo, shaking his head regretfully.

Why the hell is he feeling regret? For me? I don’t need his fucking regret!

"And you are a pervert," I mocked him.

Nodding his head, he rebutted, "A perfect who can induce ’heat’ in you."

I flinched at his words. A sense of danger developed over me. Okay, I do fear... and to be honest, I really fear him.

"Y-you w-won’t... y-you can’t!" I stuttered in fear.

The accursed man just shook his head and said, "Then, behave. You don’t want me to be angry with you, do you?"

His words angered me but I dare not say anything. Instead, I jerked my head towards Rozefde. I hissed, "You knew who he was?! But you didn’t tell me! Are you out of your mind?"

"I don’t need to tell you everything. I am not your servant," sneered Rozefde.

I shrieked, "Servant?! Are you even listening to yourself? Who the fuck made you the leader of gods?! You are incompetent! You should have told me this! Now, I have a ’walking bullet,’ who’s trying to insert himself into my ass!"

"She is right, you know. You should have told her about me," taunted Scardo.

Turning towards Scardo, I yelled, "Don’t say anything! Just because you have grasped my weakness doesn’t mean that you can interrupt us! Rozefde and I... we have a bond!"

Rozefde denied, "We don’t. There is nothing in between us."

"Hey! Don’t say like that! I support you! I believe you can defeat him."

Rozefde laughed at me scornfully. "What did you say? ’We?’ Or, maybe you intend me to fight him for you. Sharon, don’t take me as a fool. I know what goes inside your little brain! I lived inside it!"

"Do you? Do you really know her? Right before I entered this ruin, she showed you the reality. You know her? No, you don’t know anything about her before today. You just stole what was meant to be mine! You fucking thief!"

What. The. Fuck.

Am I listening correctly?

’Thief?’

I asked, "You know me?" It wasn’t a question. Honestly, it was more of as a statement.

Scardo nodded, "I know everything about you from the moment you were born."

Disgust crawled over my entire body. I don’t know what should I call him. Paedophile, stalker, creep, pervert... he makes every word pale in the face of his ’creepy’ vigour.

Suddenly, Rozefde said, "It makes sense now. Scardothapeus, you want her. Perhaps, you need her. You are so desperate that you didn’t even bother to come here."

"What? Isn’t he standing in front of us? Unless," my eyes widened in realisation, "he is using some sort of vessel or container to come here."

"Bingo! My darling is really smart!"

"I am not your ’darling!’ And don’t you ever dare to call me that!" I snarled.

All of a sudden, I felt myself floating in the air. An energy barrier formed, trapping me in it.

Did Scardo do this? Judging by his murderous face, he wasn’t the one who did this. It was Rozefde.

Just when I looked at Rozefde, he sneered at me and focused all his attention on Scardo. With a blank voice, he said, "I will kill her before you can get her. Scardothapeus, I haven’t seen such a pathetic god like you."
