Powerless Boy is reborn as Lustful Elf
Chapter 21: I’m no different from other women

Chapter 21: I’m no different from other women

And what was their plan exactly?

It was one thing to be dissatisfied, to whisper about injustice in the shadows, but to form an organized movement, to risk banishment, meant they had a goal, one clear enough, powerful enough, to make them act.

If the poster was indicative of their plans, it meant the Eclipse intended to get rid of the old things, but what exactly did that mean?

Alex’s mind turned over the possibilities, his thoughts circling the bold, ominous message.

"ECLIPSE of the Old Things." The words weren’t just a call for change; they were a declaration.

And if the Eclipse believed that the current leadership was failing... then wouldn’t that mean their first target would be the Council?

"What are you waiting for? The restaurant is just ahead," Sylra called, her voice pulling Alex out of his thoughts.

He blinked, realizing he had been standing still, lost in the maze of questions swirling in his mind.

With a quick shake of his head, he pushed aside the thoughts of the Eclipse, the Council, and whatever quiet storm was brewing beneath the surface of the elven world.

There would be time to unpack it all later.

Right now, he had other things to focus on.

With a deep breath, he picked up his pace and went after Sylra, following her toward the warm glow of the restaurant ahead.

After they had eaten, Alex and Sylra strolled through the quiet streets, the night air crisp and laced with the faint scent of blooming flowers.

The elven city had a certain elegance even in the stillness, tall, slender buildings with intricate carvings, softly glowing lanterns floating in the air, and streets paved with smooth, polished stone.

We might need to get you something to cover your eyes. Syrla commented.

Why? Alex asked.

"Because ever since we got into the market, every woman who has seen you stares at you with carnal desire." Syrla replied.

"They do?" Alex replied, his voice tinged with disbelief as he turned his head to scan the market.

Sure enough, there were eyes on him, many eyes.

Women of all ages and backgrounds had their gazes fixed on him, some with open admiration, others with barely concealed longing.

Even more unsettling were the ones who stood beside their husbands or partners.

Some clung to their men’s arms yet remained utterly fixated on Alex, their attention unwavering.

One woman, dressed in a gown of deep crimson, let her fingers trail absentmindedly over her husband’s shoulder while her gaze was locked on Alex, as if comparing what she had to what she truly wanted.

Another, a merchant’s wife adorned with gold bracelets, whispered something to her companion, who scoffed, but even he couldn’t hide the flicker of jealousy in his expression.

"Maybe sunglasses?" Alex suggested, grasping for any solution that might lessen the intensity of the stares.

Syrla hummed in approval.

"Good idea, honestly." Then, with a smirk, she added, "However, that will have to be later. Right now, I’m no better than those women."

Alex turned to her sharply, his wariness evident.

Her golden eyes gleamed with amusement, but there was something else there too, something playful yet unmistakably predatory.

The way she watched him, arms still crossed but her weight shifted ever so slightly toward him, sent a different kind of unease through him.

"Let’s go home quickly," Syrla murmured, her voice laced with anticipation. "I can’t wait to rip those clothes off you."

Alex nodded without hesitation.

He didn’t particularly care for the green, costume-like dress he had been forced to wear, it could be torn to shreds for all he cared.

If anything, he welcomed it.

Without wasting another second, he reached for her hand, feeling the warmth of her fingers intertwining with his.

She wasted no time either, pulling out a red crystal this time, its surface shimmering like molten fire.

As they landed at the gate to the house, Syrla wasted no time.

With a swift motion, she pressed the button that activated the gate, the mechanical whir filling the brief silence before it slid open.

She stepped inside without hesitation, her grip on Alex’s hand firm as she practically dragged him along with her.

The moment the gate sealed shut behind them, the outside world was forgotten.

No more lingering stares, no more whispers of admiration, just the two of them, alone in the quiet sanctuary of their home.

Syrla didn’t pause.

She turned to him, eyes dark with intent, and leaned in without a word.

The kiss was immediate, heated, and full of the impatience she had barely contained back at the market.

Her hands found their way to his shoulders, pulling him closer as if even the small gap between them was too much to bear.

Alex was caught off guard by Syrla’s eagerness, but only for a moment.

The intensity in her kiss left no room for hesitation, and he quickly responded in kind.

His hands found her waist, pulling her closer as their lips moved in sync.

Soon, their tongues met, clashing in a heated battle for dominance.

Syrla wasn’t one to yield easily, her fingers tangling in his hair as she deepened the kiss, pressing against him with a hunger that sent a rush of heat through his body.

Alex smirked against her lips, refusing to back down.

He matched her intensity, gripping her hips firmly as their movements grew more feverish.

The warmth between them was undeniable, the space around them seeming to shrink until nothing else existed but the fire igniting between them.

The system chimed in his mind.

Alex barely registered the notification before pulling back, his breaths coming a little faster than before.

He looked down at Syrla, whose lips were slightly swollen from their kiss, her golden eyes dark with desire.

"I think we should wait until we get inside," he said, his voice rougher than he intended. "Just in case."

Syrla exhaled slowly, as if reigning herself in.

She nodded, exhaling as if trying to steady herself.

She ran a hand through her hair, her usual composure shaken in a way Alex hadn’t seen before.
