Pokemon: Reborn Rich Alternate Earth -
Chapter 560: Reunion
"You actually stuffed all that junk into Gengar’s belly?"
On the beach, Ember looked at Julian’s lounge chair and umbrella with a strange expression. Sure, Gengar’s belly might have a lot of space, but bringing useless items like these into a secret realm just felt like a complete waste.
“Because I felt like it.”
Julian replied casually, then proceeded to shove everything back into Gengar’s stomach. The Ghost-type even put on an exaggerated pained expression.
If it didn’t win the Best Actor at the Golden Mareep Awards this year, it's boycotting the show.
With a theatrical screech, Gengar dramatically sank into its own shadow—a far cry from its near-death state just a few days ago. Now fully recovered, its mischievous energy was back in full force.
“You four are seriously slacking. If it weren’t for me, you’d still be stuck on Poni Island.”
Julian said as Gengar jumped out from its shadow, Julian reached into its belly with a ghostly swipe and pulled out four bottles of cold cola.
Actually, they were just taken from the system space.
He handed the drinks to the group.
"Having a Gengar sure is so convenient. I just don’t dare to raise one," Ember muttered, eyeing the Ghost-type with envy.
In a world without spatial backpack technology, Gengar’s storage ability was a game-changer for exploration and travel.
Just look at Julian—he’d been living in the secret realm for months with no shortage of supplies—like he was on vacation.
“Well, not all of us are freaks like you," Rowan said dryly.
Back when they watched Julian use Metagross to fight Tapu Fini, the battle wasn’t exactly easy, but it didn’t seem 'that' hard either.
But when it was their turn, they fought for over three months and still couldn’t beat it.
Compared to Julian, the four of them instantly felt defeated.
The only reason they were even able to get here was because Tapu Fini went easy on them.
“How’d you get Tapu Fini to hold back?” Asher asked curiously.
“Since when are you two so close?”
Julian rolled his eyes. “Close? I paid it off with fifteen Elite-level Pokémon. You think it just handed you wins out of kindness?”
“Fifteen Elite-level Pokémon? Where’d you even get that many?!” Ember asked in shock.
“Just killed a few people, and voilà,” Julian said casually.
Ember: (⊙ˍ⊙)
'Something about how he said ‘a few’ makes it sound like… quite a lot of people died.'
“Anyway, I called you here because there’s something I can’t handle alone.”
There were ten trainers from Celestria and Gallia currently on Melemele Island. If it was just Julian by himself, he really wouldn’t be able to deal with them.
Unless Metagross broke through to Pseudo-Champion—taking them on solo was impossible
“What’s the situation?”
Pierce’s face turned serious in an instant. If even Julian thought it was a tough problem, it had to be a major challenge for them.
So Julian explained the situation—both Celestria and Gallia being on this island.
“Are you sure they're all here?” Rowan asked.
Julian nodded. “I’ve already been to the other two islands and didn’t run into them. So they must still be here on this one.”
“Besides, the guardian deity of this island, Tapu Koko, is at the peak of pseudo-Champion level. Even I don’t have the confidence to beat it, let alone those guys.”
The four guardian deities of the islands, ranked from weakest to strongest, were:
> Tapu Fini – 85
> Tapu Lele – 86
> Tapu Bulu – 87
> Tapu Koko – 89
With Tapu Koko’s strength, aside from Julian, any other trainer who came to this island would get crushed.
The words "Peak Pseudo-Champion" weighed heavily on Pierce and the others—but their attention quickly snapped back to Celestria and Gallia.
They couldn’t even beat the weakest Tapu Fini—so who cared about Tapu Koko? Let the tall guy take care of that when the sky falls.
Julian: 'So I’m the tall guy, huh.'
“Is Wyvernia here too?” Pierce asked.
Those guys were practically the lapdogs of Celestria. If they were also here, along with their Gallian allies, it would make things even harder for the group.
“I already wiped them out,” Julian said.
The four: ⊙o⊙
'So… casual about it?!'
The four of them were stunned. Sure, Julian was stronger than them, but if the other side had numbers, even being strong might not be enough.
Wyvernia might not be on par with Gallia, Volkaria, or especially Drakoria and Celestria—but they were still considered a formidable force.
And yet Julian took them out by himself.
“Oh, and Anglia too. Wiped them out as well.”
“Damn. Respect.”
Asher gave Julian a thumbs-up, genuinely impressed this time.
Wild battles were completely different from official matches. There were no rules, no safety nets—just raw, brutal survival.
Plenty of trainers who shone in official matches could get wrecked in the wild by technically weaker opponents.
And in the wild, losing usually meant death.
Taking out Babath, Wyvernia, and Anglia? Julian’s wild combat skills were terrifying.
Even Pierce, with his military background and extensive experience in wild battles, was starting to feel like he wasn’t Julian’s match.
In reality, Wyvernia and Anglia were wiped out mostly due to internal conflict—Julian had just taken advantage of the aftermath. But he didn’t bother explaining that.
After all, as long as he didn’t say anything, then officially, he single-handedly annihilated three nations.
“Monster...” Ember murmured in awe.
Ember couldn't help but think: 'This guy is so young, yet his wild battle combat experience is so terrifying—he must have killed plenty of people before.'
“You should be the one leading the team,” Pierce said with a bitter laugh.
Wiping out the trainers from three countries on his own— even if he had Julian’s level of strength, he doubted he could have pulled that off.
“It was alright,” Julian replied, the corner of his mouth quirking up slightly—clearly enjoying their reactions.
Rowan, on the other hand, was silently telling himself to never get on Julian’s bad side. With wild battle experience like that, if they were ever out in the wild, Julian might just silently take him out without a trace.
Of course, that was just his paranoia.
After this Top-tier secret realm expedition, they could practically be considered friends with Julian. As long as they didn't stab him in the back, he wouldn't do anything to them.
“What about the people from Volkaria?” Pierce suddenly asked.
Though Volkaria was on good terms with Drakoria, in an environment like this, it was still wise to stay cautious.
“They’re also on this island,” Julian replied.
In other words, aside from the already wiped-out Anglia, the countries with five trainer slots—Celestria, Gallia, Drakoria, and Volkaria—were all now gathered on this one island.
If a fight broke out, it would be a massive clash.
“Should we go find the Volkarians first and form an alliance?” Ember suggested.
Even with the five of them, going up against Celestria and Gallia was still extremely dangerous. If a real fight broke out, it would be normal to suffer serious casualties.
But with help from Volkaria, their numbers would be even, and with Julian’s overwhelming power on their side, their chance of victory would rise to over 70%.
