Chapter 124: The Privilege Of Dying

Chapter 124: The Privilege Of Dying

Dora’s hand slowly grabbed Erick’s, the latter surprisingly showing no resistance, although not willingly. He couldn’t move an inch, completely paralyzed.

In front of him, Dora’s wounds closed in an instant, the purple color on his body completely disappearing.

He got up slowly, without letting go of Erick’s hand, and took the dagger from his shoulder.

He then examined the weapon in all its forms, finally letting go of Erick who stepped back for a moment.

He had attacked Dora on purpose, and all this time he was brooding on his revenge, he was only working for this moment, he had inflicted numerous wounds on him, without hesitation, but the moment his target showed hostile behavior, his resolve slowly fell.

"Take it back."

"Uh?"

Dora glanced at him and handed him his dagger, Erick looked at him in confusion and gritted his teeth.

"Don’t fuck with me! What is that?! How did you..."

"I said... take...it...back."

Dora’s tone sent shivers down Erick’s spine. He flinched as he realized he had taken the dagger back without remembering how.

He looked at Dora in confusion, the tip of his weapon beginning to shake.

Dora slowly brought his hands together and suddenly a light formed. As Eric watched in disbelief, he created a replica of his dagger, without missing any details.

He then observed the weapon created, turning his back on his executioner.

"I can’t fulfill your request."

"... Uh?"

"I can’t show you the face I had before, you have my apologies... But as for your other requests..."

He turned his head towards Erick, without moving his body and thus broke his own spine.

"You said you like puzzles?"

Erick felt his soul slipping out of his body to the point that he forgot to defend himself. All his instincts were urging him to get away from the boy in front of him as quickly as possible.

It seemed stupid to him, he had the upper hand, he had dominated him, but his voice alone was enough to make him shiver.

He turned away and rushed towards the forest, running desperately, minutes later he stopped near a tree, catching his breath.

He looked at his hand in anguish, the sight of his fingerless hand adding to his fear.

Little by little, he tried to calm down.

"Shit... what am I doing? I’m ready! I’ve been waiting for this! He’s scared... Why am I shaking?"

He clenched his fist and turned around, facing in an instant the dagger that pierced his forehead.

"AAAAAAAah!!!!" He screamed and fell to the ground, hands on his forehead.

Dora, right next to him observed him and raised an eyebrow.

"Calm down, it was only an illusion, you’re not injured, Yet."

Erick jumped and noticed that he did not in fact feel any pain. Sitting on the ground, he pointed his dagger at Dora, trembling in fear.

"What... what did you do?... What did you do to me?!"

Dora stared at him silently for a few seconds which seemed like an eternity and leaned forward.

"Why?"

"... Uh?"

"Why is there blood on your face? I hadn’t hit you."

Erick frowned and noticed the metal taste of Dora’s blood that he licked on the dagger earlier.

He put his hand to his face and realized that there was still left on his face. Dora’s eyes narrowed.

"I see, this is mine isn’t it?"

"Uh... Uuh?"

"Oh, I see, I see, I understand. This is indeed my blood... Good... Then, I’ll just take it back."

He gently grabbed Erick’s jaw and very slowly, despite the silent struggle of his former comrade, and, centimeter by centimeter, tore off a large part of his lower jaw.

Erick let out a howl that resounded throughout the forest,

He rolled on the ground, grunting in unbearable pain, his blood spilling onto the vegetation.

Dora analyzed his dagger again, confirming its sharpness by putting a finger on the tip, then observed Erick emotionless.

"You said that you preferred torture?"

Erick, trembling all over his body, stood up and ran again, but to his greatest misfortune, his body fell to the ground.

He looked behind and realized that his ankles were severed. He let out a howl of pain again, trying to crawl to get away, but Dora’s foot landed on his back.

"Remember when you said that I was crawling like a worm?"

Erick’s eyes widened and in a gruesome scene, Dora tore off his arms and legs with his bare hands.

The forest was reputed to be often visited by monsters, and whoever would pass by there at this moment would certainly run away in response to the screams that tore the air.

Minutes passed, and at noon, the sun rose above the macabre spectacle.

Dora stood back and carefully observed his work of art.

Erick’s torso, separated from his four limbs, his ears, his nose, and one eye, was left on the ground.

Tears dry under his remaining eye, and he continues to shake in pain. The grass was completely red and his lower was soiled with his excretions.

Dora looked in disgust and tilted his head.

"Is this a technique to push me away? By disgusting me? Good job because it works."

He rubbed the back of his neck and moved closer to Erick, then pushed him with his foot to force him to lie on his back.

"So let’s see... what’s left?... Ah! Yeah, you said you wanted to humiliate me, and you tried to take off my pants, what were you planning to do?"

He waited for a response, but as Erick could no longer express it, he crouched down next to him.

"I see, you’re dying of blood loss... It’s unfortunate... but don’t worry, I’ve got your back."

He placed his hand above Erick and green and blue particles formed inside him.

"Unlike you, I have healing abilities."

Little by little, Erick felt his energy returning, and his despair too.

He began to thrash around on the ground, screaming and vomiting the contents of his stomach.

"I used a form of magic that I call Law, and now your blood will keep increasing in you whenever the quantity will be lowered. Your organs too will regenerate, so for the time being, you will stay alive, for as long as I decide it."

He infused his dagger with a red aura and slowly raised it.

"This right here is another form of poison, not lethal, but increases the feeling of whatever it causes exponentially. To make it simple, this is a dagger that hurts more and more... So, let’s get back to business, you wanted to humiliate me, and you went for my pants?"

Tears flowed out of Erick’s eye, and he shook his head, screaming as loudly as he could.

"Whease.... Weahe!!!" He managed to formulate.

Dora patted his head with a comforting smile.

"Don’t beg for anything, you risk nothing, you won’t get any karma nor go to Hell, you shouldn’t fear the god... because I won’t let you die."

The dagger pierced through Erick’s masculinity and brought a new tone to the orchestra of howls of the forest.
