Overlord Tamer: All My Pet Monsters Have God Potential -
Chapter 156: Arrival, Decision
Chapter 156: Arrival, Decision
He had planted Sovereign-rank stat-increasing fruits but had yet to speed up their growth.
Now that Azelis had broken through, it was better to make her reach the peak in physical stats and give her a crazy present, which was something only she could use among them at the moment.
’She is going to get crazy shocked.’ John grinned as he looked at the interface after getting the fruits to sacrifice.

—> Sovereign Speed Tree x 50 ( Bearing Fruits in 059 d 22 h )
—> Sovereign Defense Tree x 50 ( Bearing Fruits in 59 d 22 h )
Gold-rank trees took ten days.
King-rank trees took twenty days.
Emperor-rank probably takes forty days because Sovereign-rank trees here take sixty days to grow the fruits.
’Well then, let’s start. I need thirty fruits, ten from each different stat, so I need to nurture 2 trees of each stat.’
A single tree gave five to ten fruits, so John nurtured two trees of each stat.
John sacrificed 36 fruits and nurtured six trees instantly as they bore the fruits.
Looking at the fruits in the container, John beamed. Waving his hand, he teleported the fruits in front of Azelis on the first island, inside a container.
’Now then, what should I do next?’
John remembered Yuna and Max and thought of something. ’It’s been a long time. They should have reached the peak of Silver-rank, right?’
’I did promise Yuna I would evolve her Firefox when breaking through to Gold-rank. I gotta keep that promise,’ John thought as he remembered the promise and got an idea.
He decided to grace Mr. Sirius’s appearance at their branches, courtesy of John, because John gave the reason for Mr. Sirius to visit those two branches—for his friends.
However, John didn’t know that his first friends in this world were coming to the Nexus City already.
Due to the upcoming calamity and the demons’ requirement of sending Tamers of all ranks at Silver and above with numbers no less than their demands, the Tamers from the Gratar continent’s branches were coming to the Nexus City.
All forces were working together to give some training to the Tamers, and also decided to hold multiple small competitions to spread resources to exceptional Tamers.
Among them was Yuna, who was training single-mindedly with resolve for none other than John.
Every day, she remembered and thought of John before starting her training, as she had vowed to make John look at her.
And the other was Max, who had made John his rival and trained hard.
These two respective stars of their branches were here as the top Silver-rank Tamers.
Having shown good performance and potential, both of them had received resources and training from the sects.
"John will also come here, right?" Yuna muttered as she saw the Nexus city while standing at the deck’s edge on the big flying ship.
"Hey, you’re still on about that John? I bet you are already better than him now." A blue-haired girl approached from behind and slapped Yuna’s butt.
"No, Felicia." Yuna shook her head while wryly smiling. "He...is something else. All I want is to show him that I haven’t slacked at all and I am getting stronger with only him in mind."
"You are mental, girl. You should relax sometimes."
Yuna chuckled.
"So, he is in the Ouroboros Sect, right? Their ship is right behind us, so maybe he’s on it."
"Maybe..." Yuna looked at the sky as John’s cheeky grin appeared in her mind. "He is just awesome, you know? He loves monsters like they are his family, and he even tames monsters so easily, not to mention he is so skilled in comba-"
"Alright, stop. I’ve heard that enough." Interrupting Yuna, Felicia said with a smile. "It’s clear that the boys here have no chance with you with that John in your mind. I just hope you are right about him."
"I am," Yuna said with a smile.
"Geez, you are obsessed."
"I am."
As these ships landed one by one at the new alliance base at the edge of the city, the Tamers were organized.
The Demons wanted to have at least 50,000 Silver-rank Tamers and 500,000 Gold-rank Tamers.
The number of Gold-rank Tamers was higher, as that was the barrier that not many could break, leaving most of the Tamers hanging at Gold-rank.
The Silver-rank Tamers that were selected numbered 100,000, and this temporary alliance intended to make them compete and make strong Tamers among them stronger by giving them training and resources and making them break through to Gold-rank.
With twenty-five days remaining, they could indeed make Tamers stronger by spending resources and having them trained at various hotspots by sharing islands belonging to each force.
Everything was at stake, so these eleven forces were not holding back in helping here.
Because this world was their foundation.
They had this big population here that regularly produced Sovereign-rank Tamers for them, with many of them becoming elite.
Families like Lockham, Jadelight, and Duraians were one of the earliest, with their family tree going back multiple centuries.
Their strong Tamers created descendants for centuries, making the bloodline stronger and creating a large pool of innate talents from which each family member awakened talents right from their birth.
This was similar to Monsters, as the stronger the monsters, the more gifts their offspring could get right from birth.
And that was why the Lockham Family wanted Azelis, to acquire her Nameless Blade talent.
...
Three hours had passed by since the meeting with Mr. Sirius ended.
It was dead of the night at 1 a.m. on the clock, but the city was at its liveliest in history.
Surely, the people were ready and wide awake for some large-scale action.
Duraians arrived on the island as they had finalized the price for the 100 cans of Hell’s Paradise drink.
Seeing them entering, John, Azelis, and Jibril took a position in the residency.
This time, John sat cross-legged in the modified open pavilion, big enough to hold a large number of people.
The pavilion had beautiful carvings, both of supernatural phenomena and of monsters.
As Duraians arrived, so did the people of other forces because they had set their sights on the Duraians, so they also departed when the Duraians moved.
’It’s good that Duraians took three hours.’
’Yeah, we have plenty of time. And we only need to keep him trapped for three hours before the prison we ordered is ready.’
’Don’t involve us in the talks since we haven’t participated in this scheme,’ Ron indifferently said. ’Keep it yourselves.’
The groups arrived and landed on the island.
’Is everyone and their artifacts ready?’
’Let’s watch the show and then run it when it’s time.’
Seeing Mr. Sirius sitting in the pavilion, and the ten people of the Duraian family sitting nearby.
But this time, Mr. Sirius wasn’t alone in the pavilion.
Beside him also sat a female Tamer, whom many of them recognized.
"We were waiting just for you," Yalentra said as she glanced at the groups of other forces that arrived. "Took not less than a minute."
"But of course."
"All of us are eager for the auction, so I hope you have thought of a satisfactory price."
The people sat down in the pavilion, all of them facing Mr. Sirius and Azelis while forming a thick crescent.
’Azelis...’ Hall Master Varek’s heart was shaking.
’I hope Mr. Sirius can get away properly, at least.’ Executive Rudh sighed.
’We’ll find out soon.’
John looked at all of them, and given his own scheme and his soul sensitivity, he could sense some of their nefarious intention towards him even though they tried to suppress them.
Some of them were doing it well, but a look into their eyes, and he could guess mostly right.
’Some have clear concern in their eyes. It looks like not all of them plan to shit on me.’
"Now then, please present me with your answer, and then I shall make my decision."
Yalentra somberly nodded and waved his hand slightly as a runic-patterned storage pouch appeared in front of her.
"We have decided to price the 100 cans of Hell’s Paradise Drink. Given what you provided, and the rarity of this product, we understand these hundred cans can change the tide of battles."
"As such, the appropriate and reasonable price we could think of was something of a rarity as well as additional distinct valuables."
"In this storage pouch, we have first and foremost a 1-ton of Sovereign-rank ore having Lightning and Crystal attributes, both being variants."
"Second, 1,000,000 Sovereign Essence Coins."
"Third, a top-tier Sovereign-rank Armor Set."
"Fourth, an unveiled embryo of a Soul Gear."
"That is all, for the 100 cans of Hell’s Paradise Drink."
’They are giving away an unveiled embryo? What if it turns out to be of high-ranking one?’
’I think the price is overboard.’
’But that drink can literally change the outcome of a battle. One drink, and we become invincible in Sovereign-rank.’
’A hundred of them. Yeah, I think this price is justified.’
However, the pavilion was silent as everyone looked at Mr. Sirius, who was rubbing his chin while looking at the storage ring.
’What’s there to think, dumbass.’
’If he rejects, we are attacking.’
’That’s for me to decide. You all better not mess this up before I signal.’
’What if he starts the auction?’
’We have ordered the prison. There’s no question of doing it or not. We are doing this.’
’It’s just a single Sovereign-rank Tamer, with space mastery, alright, but we are all prepared to boot.’
"I think..."
Everyone’s eyes focused.
"Yeah, I accept the price."
Mr. Sirius smiled.
The Duraians’ faces brightened up.
"We are glad to hear that, Mr. Sirius." Yalentra beamed.
Mr. Sirius nodded and swept his glance while smiling. "Well then, let us start the auction. Azelis, would you do the honors of being the host, please?"
’Fuck him. Now.’ Lockham family’s Sovereign leader barked in Magic Whisper.
