"Great, thank you so much, Riley!" Emma Hart responded happily.

The day soon arrived.

After lunch, the driver took Emma Hart to Riley Turner’s home.

"Isn’t this the same hotel where Mr. Turner was dropped off that day?" Emma Hart stood at the door, piecing things together. Wealthy people really know how to protect their privacy.

"Emma, welcome!" Hearing the door open, Riley Turner warmly greeted her.

"My mom is also someone who can’t sit still at home. I hope you don’t mind!" Riley Turner explained.

"Alright, let’s head inside. Have a seat first." Riley Turner invited Emma Hart in, and then headed to the kitchen to bring out some snacks.

After their tea, they went to the nearby market because they were missing some ingredients. They bought items that Emma Hart thought would be difficult to cook.

Emma Hart initially thought cooking with these ingredients would take a long time, but to her surprise, Riley Turner turned them into a delicious meal in just two hours.

Just as they had started chatting, Mr. Turner and Damien Sterling returned home.

"Oh, two beautiful ladies cooking for us! Mr. Sterling, we are in for a treat tonight!" Mr. Turner said excitedly, taking off his hat.

"You’re finally back! Mom’s not joining us for dinner tonight, so wash up, and let’s get ready to eat!" Riley Turner said.

Emma Hart aimed a kick at Damien Sterling under the table, but he dodged it.

"Alright, I’ll be looking forward to it!" Damien Sterling replied with a smirk, raising an eyebrow at Emma Hart.

Though they were bickering, it seemed like playful banter to those around them.

"Alright, alright, we’re all looking forward to it, Emma. When you master the skills, remember to host a thank-you feast!" Mr. Turner interjected, raising his glass. "Come on, let’s toast to the friendship between our families!"

Everyone raised their glasses in agreement.

The night turned into a lively party. After a few drinks, Riley Turner passed out at the table. Emma Hart and Mr. Turner started playfully acting drunk, and it wasn’t until Riley Turner’s mother returned that Damien Sterling could team up with her to separate the two.

"Thank you for your hospitality, Mrs.Turner. We’ll be heading out now," Damien Sterling said, supporting Emma Hart while bidding farewell to Riley Turner’s mother.

"Thank you for coming. This old man caused quite a commotion tonight. Please come again, and I’ll make sure to keep him in line!" Riley Turner’s mother replied, watching Damien Sterling and Emma Hart leave.

In the car, Emma Hart kept drunkenly pestering Damien Sterling, "Come on, handsome, let’s have a few more drinks!"

"Emma Hart, you’re drunk!" Damien Sterling replied calmly, as he disliked dealing with drunk women.

Emma Hart frowned, made a shushing gesture, and said, "Shh! I’m not drunk. If my big bad guy at home hears, I’m done for. Just wait, I’ll make the best dish for him!" Then she collapsed on Damien Sterling’s lap and fell asleep.
