Since the day Emma Hart had followed Damien Sterling, it had been raining a cold, gloomy drizzle in Paris for two days straight; everyone wanted to stay indoors and not venture out.

"Sorry for the wait!" The chubby, cheerful chef arrived with two plates, placing them before the group. The aroma of the food instantly soothed Emma Hart’s wounded soul.

As they ate, they discussed what to do next.

"Honestly, this place is more of a women’s thing. We guys don’t really find much to do here," Logan Harrington said, struggling to think of an activity.

"That’s underestimating Paris, isn’t it? Let me show you something!" Amelia Davidson said, opening her phone to display a promotional poster.

"A treasure hunt?" Logan Harrington stared at the bold letters on the poster and asked, "What’s that all about?"

"It’s self-explanatory. You follow the clues at each location to find the next spot, and the treasure is hidden at the final location. Whoever finds it gets to keep it!" Amelia Davidson explained excitedly.

"The treasure is probably something cheap," Damien Sterling remarked.

"But the fun is in the hunt itself. Do you want to join?" Amelia Davidson asked.

"Of course, I’ll follow you anywhere!" Logan Harrington said, gazing lovingly at Amelia Davidson.

She blew him a kiss in response.

"What about you, Emma?" Amelia Davidson asked, full of anticipation.

"Mr. Sterling, what do you think?" Emma Hart wanted to join, but she knew it ultimately depended on Damien Sterling.

"If you want to play, go ahead. I have no objections," Damien Sterling said calmly.

"That’s great! I’ll register us right now. The four of us will join together!" Seeing no objections, Amelia Davidson quickly entered their information into her phone.

The competition was scheduled for the next day, from 8 AM to 8 PM.

There was a bus right next to the gathering point that took them straight to their second location—Champs-Élysées.

After just one stop, Emma Hart and her team reached the second clue location.

"Mr. Sterling, I’m really impressed!" Emma Hart said, admiring the beautiful scenery outside the bus.

This romantic street was one of the most famous attractions in France.

Between two naturally beautiful plane trees was the second clue station of the treasure hunt.

The staff warmly greeted the first team to arrive and explained the method to obtain the second clue in French. They had to complete a task.

If the participants were a couple, they had to do a "kabe-don" (pinning against the wall) with the plane trees in the background for three minutes and take a photo.

Emma Hart felt both shy and excited.
