Chapter 372: Return to Peach Blossom Town

After confirming that Ryan Garcia was at Green Mountain Retreat, Damien Sterling and Emma Hart drove there.

The night was quiet, filled only with the sounds of insects and the distant murmur of the sea. They parked outside Green Mountain Retreat and walked to the entrance. The red lanterns outside were still brightly lit. Emma Hart knocked on the door, calling out loudly for Ryan Garcia.

It wasn’t long before Ryan Garcia opened the door, appearing in his pajamas.

"I’m coming too!" Emma Hart and the freshly exercised Ryan Garcia said in unison.

"Alright. Get ready quickly. We leave at 7:30 sharp. Mrs. Harris, please pack our breakfast as a takeout," Damien Sterling said, hurrying back to continue his call with Assistant Lee.

Everything happened so suddenly. Emma Hart was excited about the unexpected trip to Peach Blossom Town, eager to see the children and taste the local delicacies again.

At 7:30, Mrs. Harris had the three takeout breakfasts ready, and Assistant Lee’s car was prepared.

After packing some essential luggage and the takeout meals, the trio hurried out.

Outside the Sterling family villa, the driver was at the wheel, with Assistant Lee and Lucy Allen in the second row.

"Mr. Sterling, Mrs. Sterling, and their unknown friend, hello!" Lucy Allen opened the car door and greeted them.

"Hello, beautiful. I’m Ryan Garcia!" Ryan Garcia boldly took Lucy Allen’s hand and planted a light kiss on the back of it.

Then, Assistant Lee and Damien Sterling sat in the second row, while Emma Hart, Lucy Allen, and Ryan Garcia took the back seats.

"Yes, I’m on a business trip for two days. Please take care of Daniel. Thank you, teacher. Goodbye!" Lucy Allen hung up the phone.

"You, you have a child?" Ryan Garcia still couldn’t believe it.

Lucy Allen seemed about their age, and her figure didn’t suggest she was a mother at all, completely different from Emma Hart! Ryan thought to himself.

"Yes! He’s five!" Lucy Allen replied with a sweet smile, tilting her head.

Ryan Garcia felt stunned and covered his face with his hand. Emma Hart, acting as the bystander, nearly laughed out loud. Serves you right! That’s what you get for flirting with every woman you meet.

With no elders or children in the car this time and given the urgency of the situation, the driver sped up. Lunch was a quick affair with some burgers eaten in the car.

Around 4 PM, they arrived at Peach Blossom Town. At this time, the adults and children in town were home preparing dinner. Several excavators were parked in the open area behind the town, surrounded by construction notices and barriers. The issue was with the large inn being built at the back of the town; the design plans were unclear in some places, so the person in charge had halted construction.

Since it was still early, Damien Sterling, Assistant Lee, and Lucy Allen stayed at the construction site to discuss the situation with the project manager. Emma Hart and Ryan Garcia stayed in the guesthouse, eating instant noodles they had secretly bought in B City.

"Hurry up, you’re so slow, like a girl!" Emma Hart urged.

Ryan Garcia was pouring water into the noodle cup at a snail’s pace, staring intently at the hot water pouring from the kettle, not even responding to Emma’s jibes, seemingly afraid of getting burned.

After he finished pouring the water and covering the noodles, Ryan Garcia finally spoke, "Safety first! You should know that as a mom!"
