Chapter 334: Logan Harrington’s Grandmother

Logan Harrington paused, gently pinching Amelia Davidson’s cheeks with both hands. "My wife is so outstanding, why wouldn’t she accept it?" he said with a smile.

His smile was like sunlight dancing on the sea, making Amelia feel radiant and delighted.

Waves crashed onto the white sandy beach, while seabirds flew low, waking the sleeping beauty.

It was close to mealtime, and Emma Hart was still sound asleep. Watching her adorable sleeping face, Damien Sterling couldn’t resist pinching her nose. Emma’s snores quickly turned into cute little piglet sounds.

Sensing something odd, Emma instantly woke up, only to meet Damien Sterling’s laughing face.

"Damien Sterling!" Emma immediately knew who had ruined her sweet dream. She got up, ready for revenge, but was unexpectedly scooped up by the man and carried towards the sea. He made several gestures as if to throw her into the water, making Emma scream in fright, while he laughed heartily.

When did this man become so childish? Emma was both amused and exasperated.

The beachside dining table was already set. Five sets of exquisite tableware and a crystal vase with red roses were neatly arranged on the white tablecloth, creating an elegant and romantic atmosphere.

This was Mrs. Harrington’s favorite dining setting.

"Sir, everything is ready," a maid said to Logan Harrington.

"Okay! Inform everyone to take their seats," Logan replied, pulling Amelia Davidson towards the table.

Everyone was seated, waiting for Mrs. Harrington’s arrival.

Logan Harrington, sitting at the table, reached for a glass of water. His hand holding the glass was trembling.

Emma Hart noticed Logan’s unusual behavior and asked Damien Sterling, "Why is Logan so nervous?"

"Because every time he sees Mrs. Harrington, something bad happens to him. Last time, he nearly fell down the stairs, and the time before that, he almost got burned," Damien Sterling replied coolly.

"Mr. Sterling, please, no more comments," Logan pleaded.

Whether it was bad luck or something else, every visit to Mrs. Harrington felt like a life-and-death challenge for Logan.

Across the distant sea, a shout could be heard.

It was a jet ski, and the shout came from a woman.

"She’s coming... She’s coming!" Logan Harrington, terrified, ran to hide behind Damien Sterling.

As the jet ski neared the small island where they sat, Logan grew increasingly anxious, while Damien remained calm, having seen this scene many times before. Emma Hart and Amelia Davidson, however, were clueless about what was about to unfold, their faces full of question marks.

The jet ski stopped at the shore. A slender woman jumped off, her clothes soaked by the sea. She stripped down to a sexy bikini, revealing her toned body.

Servants rushed to her side, handing her a towel and guiding her toward the table. She took the towel, dried her short, wet hair, and then, with an aura of authority, walked towards Logan and the others.

Emma Hart was stunned by the woman’s presence.

Though she was not tall, around 5’2", her limbs were slender, and her toned calves hinted at her fitness regimen. Her flat stomach showed defined abs, the result of her diligent workouts.

Her face was wrinkle-free, and her skin remained taut. Only in her cold, storied eyes could one see the marks of her hard-fought years.

This was Logan Harrington’s grandmother, Madison Harrington.

Emma Hart and Amelia Davidson were clearly overwhelmed by Madison’s presence and aura. They had expected an old lady in her seventies, leaning on a cane when Damien called her "grandma." They never imagined Madison Harrington to be so striking!

They were completely frozen.

On the other hand, Emma’s two sons were quite bold. Seeing a beautiful woman in front of them, they fearlessly greeted Madison with loud babbling.

Madison Harrington’s eyes sparkled at the sight of the little boys.

"Oh, my sweethearts! Hello there!" Madison exclaimed, rushing over to the Sterling boys.

The interaction between Madison and the two kids was heartwarming. Madison bent down to kiss the older one, while the younger brother pouted jealously nearby. When Madison finally left them to take her seat, their longing gazes made anyone watching want to spoil them.

Sensing the situation might get out of hand, Damien shot his sons a stern look that said, "Behave, or else." The two little rascals immediately settled down.

"Allow me to introduce this stunning woman—my grandmother, Madison Harrington," Logan Harrington announced to everyone.

Madison Harrington nodded slightly and then smiled, "Lovely ladies and adorable little ones, it’s a pleasure to meet you all. I’m Logan Harrington’s grandmother, Madison Harrington. Just call me Madison; I don’t like being called old!" She patted Logan’s shoulder. "This guy must have caused you all kinds of trouble. Let me offer a toast on his behalf!"

As soon as Madison finished speaking, the servants quickly filled everyone’s glasses.

The dinner began, with the table filling up with aromatic fresh fish fillets, spicy crabs, lobster sashimi, and magically intriguing molecular ocean cuisine.

Over the past few days, Emma Hart and Amelia Davidson had been treated to increasingly lavish meals, leaving them slightly uneasy. They were uncertain if this indulgence was a blessing or a curse, knowing all these luxuries weren’t earned by their efforts. Amelia, in particular, felt a pang of discomfort. Although she loved wealth, she wasn’t someone who liked to rely on others.

Throughout the meal, Madison Harrington avoided discussing business or personal matters, instead continually highlighting the delicious food and exciting activities around.

The moonlight cast a serene and enchanting glow over the lake, occasionally disturbed by small splashes.

After dinner, Madison Harrington and Damien Sterling chatted for a while, mainly about Mr. Sterling Senior’s health and Damien’s recent activities. Logan Harrington sat nearby, eating voraciously; Emma Hart and Amelia Davidson, sensing the heavy atmosphere, tried to lighten the mood with the children.

"Logan Harrington, come here," Madison Harrington’s voice suddenly turned stern. Logan paused, chewed his food slowly, then swallowed and reluctantly moved towards his grandmother.

Damien Sterling, who had been sitting beside Madison, stood up and patted Logan’s shoulder sympathetically.

"Come here! Hurry up!" Madison Harrington urged impatiently.
