Chapter 330: Going to the Beach （1）

Emma quickly changed the babies’ clothes and then, feigning nonchalance, turned her back to Damian Sterling. "Oh, really?" she said.

Then she turned around with a meaningful look, giving Damian a devilish smile. Seizing the moment, she pushed him onto the bed when he was least expecting it.

Damian was taken aback by Emma’s sudden attack, finding it refreshingly unexpected. He grabbed her wrist as she fell onto him, her face flushing bright red. Emma Hart had no experience in taking the initiative like this. What should she do next?

Damian chuckled, knowing she was right. Last night’s intense passion had indeed left them both exhausted. "Alright," he agreed, then scooped her up and carried her to the bathroom. "But first, we need a shower. We’re both sweaty."

After a long shower, Damian and Emma finally made their way downstairs. One of the maids heard them coming and hurried upstairs to assist.

"Good morning, Mr. Sterling, Mrs. Sterling. Breakfast is ready downstairs," the maid said, bowing slightly.

"Thank you," Damian replied.

They entered the dining room on the first floor. On the right side of the table was a large floor-to-ceiling window that opened to the backyard. Damian and Emma sat across from each other, with the two children seated in their high chairs.

The breakfast spread was lavish, featuring Emma’s favorites: ham slices, tiger-skin cake, corn soup, pasta, and various fruits. Emma ate heartily, savoring every bite, while Damian meticulously assessed the quality of the ingredients.

Just after finishing breakfast, Emma Hart received a call from Amelia Davidson.

"Good morning, Amelia!" Emma answered cheerfully.

"Good morning, Emma. Are you guys up yet?" Amelia asked.

Amelia and Logan Harrington had just woken up and wanted to know if Emma and Damian Sterling had any plans for the day, and if they’d like to join them for a trip to the beach.

"What do you think?" Emma asked Damian, still holding the phone.

"Sure, tell them to come over," Damian replied nonchalantly. With no other plans, he was open to the idea.

Emma eagerly agreed over the phone, inviting Amelia and Logan to join them for a bite to eat before heading out.

Finally, a chance to go to the beach! This was the whole reason Emma wanted to visit the island in the first place. It had been so long since she last felt the warm sand between her toes.

About twenty minutes later, Amelia Davidson and Logan Harrington arrived at the villa. Logan, upon entering, playfully blew a kiss towards Damian.

"If you keep that up, I’ll throw you out," Damian responded coldly.

Logan quickly apologized, though it was clear he enjoyed teasing Damian whenever he could.

Before Amelia and Logan arrived, the maids had already cleared away the breakfast dishes and set out fresh food on the clean table.

After breakfast, with Amelia and Emma each holding a baby, the manager had prepared a luxury car and driver, waiting at the villa’s entrance.

And so, they set off for the beach!

In the car, Damian and Logan sat in the front, chatting, while Amelia and Emma sat in the back with the children. Occasionally, the sound of the children’s laughter or cries drifted from the rear seats.

Logan, slightly irritated by the noise, turned to Damian and said, "I don’t know how you do it. Putting up with this racket day and night? Man, I really admire you."

Damian replied coolly, "Because they’re my children. It’s no big deal. Someday, when you have kids, you’ll understand this sense of happiness."

"Happiness..." Logan muttered, finding it hard to believe that constant noise could bring any joy, more like a kind of torment.

However, when Logan glanced back at Amelia playing with the children, he couldn’t help but smile. Maybe... maybe it really could be happiness.

On the way to the beach, they found the road completely gridlocked. The island was even busier during the Christmas season than during some smaller holidays, attracting many northerners looking to escape the cold.

"Why aren’t we there yet..." Logan Harrington complained, growing increasingly impatient sitting next to Damian Sterling. This brother of his was so aloof, barely engaging with him. Logan just wanted to get to the beach to see bikini-clad beauties running in the sun, especially Amelia Davidson in her sexy swimsuit, and sip on some ice-cold coconut water.

"I’m sorry, Mr. Sterling, but the traffic is terrible. At this rate, we might not reach the beach until the afternoon," the driver said helplessly.

"What!" Amelia Davidson exclaimed. That meant being stuck in the car for another two or three hours. While the adults might endure, the kids certainly wouldn’t.

Emma Hart looked at the congested road, then at her phone’s map. "Actually, we’re not that far from the beach. Look, it’s just over a ten-minute walk. How about we just walk there?"

It wasn’t the best solution, but it beat sitting in the car indefinitely.

"I agree. What do you all think?" Amelia Davidson said. She was also at her limit. It was almost noon, her stomach was growling, and she felt dizzy from being cooped up.

With Amelia on board, Logan Harrington quickly agreed as well. Now, it was up to Damian Sterling.

Damian thought for a long moment, clearly torn.

Sitting idly in the car was no solution, but the thought of walking under the blazing sun while carrying two children... It was daunting. If they were back in City A, Damian would have had the area cleared in no time.
