"Really?" Emma Hart was even more excited than Amelia Davidson.

"Do you think I’d lie?" Amelia winked at Emma, though a hint of worry flickered in her eyes.

As the evening came to a close, Damian Sterling, Emma Hart, Amelia Davidson, and Logan Harrington, along with the two children, made their way to the restaurant’s entrance.

"Where are you staying tonight?" Emma Hart inquired.

"Emma, Mr. Sterling, see you around," Amelia Davidson waved goodbye to Emma and Damian before boarding the shuttle with Logan.

Damian and Emma had their own car waiting and soon returned to their villa.

After bathing, they stood on the balcony, enjoying the cool mountain breeze.

"This feels amazing! Why didn’t we think of coming here sooner?" Emma wondered aloud.

"Well, we’re here now, aren’t we?" Damian said as he wrapped his arms around her from behind.

"What are you doing! The kids are right here!" Emma was startled by Damian’s sudden embrace.

"I’m getting back at you for dragging me into those photos earlier!" Damian teased, though his eyes were filled with love as he gazed at her delicate face.

"It’s okay, they’re asleep. Even if they wake up, they’re too young to understand," Damian grinned mischievously, lifting Emma onto the glass table on the balcony.

"Here?" Emma’s face flushed red.

"Yes, right here," Damian replied, leaning in to kiss her as she lay back on the table.

He parted her lips with his, their tongues intertwining as if they never wanted to separate.

The scent of their freshly washed bodies mingled, creating an intoxicating atmosphere that overwhelmed their senses.

Under the starry sky, they clung to each other tightly, lost in the moment until both were utterly exhausted.

Finally, Damian picked up the weary Emma and carried her to bed, her petite frame seeming fragile in his strong arms, as if a gentle squeeze could shatter her.

The next morning, the temperature gradually began to rise. Concerned about the babies falling ill from sudden changes in temperature, Damian Sterling and Emma Hart had avoided using the air conditioning, relying on the naturally cool mountain air to keep them comfortable overnight.

The increasing heat woke the entire family, making them feel as if they had just stepped out of a sauna. Damian swung his legs out of bed and headed towards the bathroom, feeling the irritation that the stifling weather always brought.

The sound of running water from the shower caught Emma’s attention. She tossed her sweat-dampened hair, got out of bed, and prepared fresh clothes and towels for Damian. Then she stood on the balcony, gazing at the lush green landscape.

"The islanders are truly fortunate," she mused. "The sky is always blue, the weather is perpetually spring-like. How wonderful it would be to have been born here!"

Her thoughts were interrupted by the cries of their twins from the nursery. Emma hurried to their side, berating herself for being so absorbed in the scenery that she neglected her sons.

She felt their damp clothing and quickly retrieved fresh outfits from the wardrobe to change them.

The sound of the shower ceased. Damian emerged from the bathroom, completely naked. Emma stole a glance at him, blushing furiously.

In broad daylight, what could this immature, moody man possibly want now?

Damian picked up the towel Emma had laid out for him, dried himself off, and wrapped a bath towel around his waist before slowly approaching her.

He wrapped his arms around Emma, but she was too busy dressing the babies to pay him any attention.
