"I would marry anyone but you, I hate you, Damien Sterling." Emma Hart fought back the urge to cry, her life upheaval overnight by this man.

Now, he was proposing marriage, a proposal that felt like an insult to her strong sense of self from childhood.

Her anger was palpable.

In a public setting, the bodyguards dared not act rashly, especially without an order from Sterling. They could only watch as she fled.

Meanwhile, Emma Hart was nursing a headache, listening to her grandmother’s lecture.

Unbelievably, that man, failing to conquer her, had now involved her grandmother and brother to persuade her.

Emma seethed at the thought of his flawless face.
