"Why doesn’t that monster attack you?" Talis continued to inquire.

"How would I know?" Cheng Ziang shrugged.

"Then how can you guarantee that she won’t attack us?" Talis asked.

"The night before you all arrived, if I hadn’t intervened, we all would have died at the campsite outside the tomb, so I dare say she won’t hurt me and she’s willing to listen to me," Cheng Ziang said confidently.

"Unreasonable," Talis shook her head.

"Indeed unreasonable, just as you are unable to explain Fula’s existence, right?" Cheng Ziang said calmly.

Talis sighed, then looked away, "Anyway, if you want to rely on me to get onto Xia Yue Island, you will have to help me find the things we want, while ensuring my safety."

By appearance, Talis looked to be just over twenty. However, as everyone knows, the age of members of the Elf Race only increases every ten years, so based on appearance alone, Talis’s real age should be around two hundred years old.
