"I thought you might not show up," Luoer turned around, looking at him with a teasing smile.

"The bartender said an old friend is visiting, I thought about it, and you’re probably the only one I can call a friend." Azita replied.

In reality, he was mistaken because Luoer had never seen him as a friend. It was only now, when Luoer needed his help, that he approached him.

"Of course, Captain Luoer, we shall do our utmost to fulfill any task you entrust to us," Azita stated.

"We have been constantly harassed by the Booze Ghost Gang in the city recently, and we hope that Mr. Azita can provide us with a place to stay, away from the threat of the Booze Ghost Gang," said Luoer.

"How did Captain Luoer offend the Booze Ghost Gang?" Azita asked bewilderedly.

"It’s a long story," Luoer started, pointing to Eve at his side, "this brother and sister are very important to us, but the Booze Ghost Gang also want them. So we hope that Mr. Azita can provide us with protection, and if possible, I hope you can arrange for us to leave the city."

After navigating the complex streets, they arrived in front of an inn. On seeing the run-down inn, the faces of Luoer and Hu Daoke darkened. They exchanged a glance and shook their heads, smiling bitterly.

It’s not that they were being fussy about the dilapidated inn, but the fact that this inn was the same one they stayed in when they first arrived in Holy Heart City. Hu Daoke was still impressed by the innkeeper’s culinary skills.
