Chapter 771: Chapter 764: New Uniform

"Luoer, does it look good?" Tangmo came bustling out of the room, twirled around in front of Luoer, and then asked.

She had put on the gorgeous winter uniform specifically prepared for her by Shariya. It must be said that in this regard, the Sacred Heart Magic Academy’s student uniforms are more elaborate than the stringent ones of Haiya Academy. The entire uniform is made from expensive fabric and leather, and at a glance, it was clearly the type that commoners could not afford.

However, as Sacred Heart Magic Academy is a noble magic school, such uniforms are provided to the students free of charge. The Magic Academy, being the reserve force for the Church Court’s magical power, derives most of its funding directly from the Church Court, with only a small portion coming from tuition.

The uniform was all black, with a specially designed fur shawl. The skirt was a knee-length pleated skirt, embroidered with white lace at the hem. Because it was winter, a pair of black leggings were provided along with deep brown long boots that wrapped around her calves.

"It looks good, really good." Luoer nodded, affirming her.

"Perfunctory!" Tangmo said dissatisfiedly, then flashed a smile and said, "Luoer, look, I’m showing it off to you by spinning in circles."

"You’re not allowed to spin. Don’t think I don’t know what you’re trying to do!" Luoer swiftly rejected.

Shortly after, Baiyue also came out in her uniform, looking quite self-conscious. As soon as she saw Luoer, her smiling face instantly turned red and she asked hesitantly: "How...how does it look?"

Her uniform was similar to Tangmo’s, but different in that she had to hide her rabbit ears. Therefore, instead of wearing a shawl like Tangmo, she put on her original cloak to cover her head.

"It’s also really nice," Luoer nodded, and then blinked his eyes and said, "but you look a bit like Little Red Riding Hood."

"But it’s Little Black Hood!" Hu Daoke, who had nothing to do, joined the conversation and excitedly pointed out.

A while later, Feng also emerged from her room. Since Shariya brought several sets at once, Tangmo simply chose one for Feng as well.

Feng’s figure was similar to Tangmo’s, but because of her long-term martial training, she was more upright than Tangmo. As a result, the uniform gave her a distinctly different demeanor when worn.

She refused to give up her long sword, so she fastened the leather sheath of the sword around her waist, making her appear even more gallant.

"Wow, Feng looks very distinguished when she wears it," Hu Daoke remarked admiringly.

"Yes, Feng also looks really good in it!" Luoer nodded in agreement.

"Feng, how do you feel about it?" Hu Daoke called out to Feng.

"The waist is too tight, the skirt is very obstructive, and this shawl is also very obstructive. I like the boots," Feng looked at them and replied honestly.

Her mindset was still focused on combat, so after putting on the new uniform, she instinctively evaluated its effects on her combat ability.

"Do you like this outfit?" Luoer asked with a smile.

"Mmm," Feng nodded, then looked at Luoer seriously and said, "I like it if you like it!"

Tangmo glanced at Feng with somewhat annoyance, and then widened her eyes and asked with a hint of astonishment: "Feng, why didn’t you put on your leggings?"

Hearing her, everyone was startled, then their gazes collectively fell onto Feng’s bare legs. Baiyue quietly moved behind her, peeked under her skirt, and instantly turned beet red. Blushing, she pushed Feng back into the room.

"She was supposed to help her finish changing before coming out, she couldn’t wait to come out and show off!" Tangmo glared at Baiyue and complained.

"Luoer, look at me, I’ve changed too, how do I look?" At this moment, the magical energy in the air suddenly fluctuated violently. Immediately after, Fulajie’er’s figure appeared in front of everyone again, floating in mid-air.

Luoer almost forgot, Fulajie’er can adjust her clothes at any time. After all, her body is mainly constituted of magical energy. If she wanted, she could completely change her clothes with magic.

"Beautiful, really beautiful!" Luoer nodded and replied.

Although Fulajie’er’s body was a bit transparent, she was clearly visible. Her body, which was mainly composed of white light from magical energy, was not radiating, so it did not look overly dazzling. Even in the dark night, it could not illuminate anything.

"Perfunctory!" Fulajie’er pouted and imitated Tangmo’s dissatisfied tone.

"It really looks good, what else can I say?" Luoer said with a wry smile.

While the two were engrossed in their conversation, Tangmo silently drifted to Luoer’s side, plopping down next to him and elbowing Fulajie’er aside in the process.

"You annoying woman!" Fulajie’er huffed indignantly, glaring at her.

"What did I do!" Tangmo retorted, glancing at her defiantly before wearing a triumphant grin.

"Alright, alright, cut it out," Seeing the two about to bicker again, Luoer quickly intervened.

Momo may have accepted Fulajie’er, but that didn’t mean Moumou would. Moumou had quite the possessive streak, and definitely wouldn’t be as generous as her sister.

Tangmo, with Luoer’s arm held contentedly in her embrace, then comfortably leaned her head on his shoulder. She couldn’t help but let out a sigh.

"What’s wrong? Why the long face?" Luoer asked, concerned.

"I have to go back to learning magic now that I’m in this uniform again," Tangmo grumbled, poking out her bottom lip.

"Is that such a bad thing?" Luoer inquired.

"Of course, it’s bad! I don’t even like magic!" Tangmo looked up at him, her voice full of complaint.

"But your sister likes it, doesn’t she?" Luoer pointed out.

"That’s just it," Tangmo heaved another sigh, then leaned back on his shoulder. "That means I’ll have to go back into hibernation. It’s so boring watching her study those dry theories of magic all day long. I won’t be able to accompany you, and our time together will decrease."

"Why do you always stick around me? I have lots of things to do too," Luoer said with a wry smile.

"I want to stick to you. You’re so serious all the time. If I didn’t pester you, when would we bear fruit?" said Tangmo.

"What on earth are you thinking..." On hearing her audacious words, Luoer, who had a thin skin, immediately blushed.

"Hehe..." Tangmo giggled, pinching Luoer’s red elf-ear with her hands, revealing a lovesick smile. She took a big gulp of courage before bravely raising her head to ask, "Luoer, can I come see you after school?"

She referred to resuming control of her body, which meant this question was for both Luoer and herself. After all, the absolute control of her body now rested with her sister Momo. Even as her sister, she felt more like a tenant with no say.

"Not at night!" Upon seeing her hopeful gaze, Luoer immediately vetoed.

"What about before bed?" Tangmo stared at him, her reaction unsurprised as she continued to press.^

"Before bed, well, that’s...ok..." Faced with her persistent persuasion, Luoer helplessly nodded and agreed.

"Hmph, hmph, hmph!" Upon hearing Luoer’s response, Tangmo smiled and snuggled into his waist, burying herself deeper in his hold.

"Oh my...Don’t push your luck!" Luoer complained with a flush spreading on his face.

Observing their sweetly intimate interaction, Hu Daoke tactfully looked away, only to discover that Cheng Ziang was sitting quietly across them, keeping a solemn silence for a long time.

"Old Cheng, what’s with you today? You seem a bit down," Hu Daoke exclaimed, surprised.

Nönly had Hu Daoke’s words fallen, Luoer, still struggling to free himself from Tangmo’s grip, lightly patted him on the back and shook his head at him. Even though Luoer didn’t speak, Hu Daoke immediately understood his meaning.

"Once Yue’er and Momo start their classes tomorrow, we’ll visit Dean Shariya. He’s Mr. Yalunte’s old friend. The princess can perform magic, which certainly must have something to do with the Magic Academy. Let’s see if we can get any clues from him," Luoer suggested, looking at Cheng Ziang.

"Thanks!" Upon hearing Luoer’s words, Cheng Ziang nodded gratefully, his previously somber face now visibly lightened.

"Don’t mention it, Old Cheng. We’re all family here, through thick and thin!" Hu Daoke reassured him. He got up and sat next to Cheng Ziang, wrapping an arm around his shoulder warmly.

"You, I swear..." Faced with Hu Daoke’s enthusiasm, Cheng Ziang offered a helpless smile, feeling unaccountably moved. It was no secret that this guy had a knack for striking an emotional chord in him.
