Otherworld Advance Team
Chapter 752 - 745: Action Plan

Chapter 752: Chapter 745: Action Plan

Not long after Baiyue and the others returned, headquarters responded to the members of the Advance Team. The response was a high-level decision from the headquarters, intended for Luoer’s eyes only. However, Luoer had already roughly guessed the contents of the message.

He opened the letter away from the others, and as expected, headquarters requested verification of Mu Lansi’s treason. Should the treason be confirmed, the Advance Team was to immediately deal with Mu Lansi, this unstable element.

It was clear that the senior management at headquarters had a unified opinion, that Ronisca needed to counterbalance Commander Mooer’s air force power. However, this force absolutely should not come from the unstable anti-cooperation factor, Mu Lansi.

After burning the letter in a secluded spot, Luoer had a plan in mind. He went to the bridge where he locked eyes with Cheng Ziang. After exchanging glances, Cheng Ziang roughly understood the headquarters’ intentions, too.

At the same time, Fleet Commander Reimer received orders from Ronisca’s air force. After stepping away from the Advance Team to glance at the message, he immediately furrowed his eyebrows and looked up at Luoer.

"Captain Reimer, I suppose we’ve reached a basic consensus, haven’t we?" asked Luoer confidently.

Hearing Luoer’s words, Reimer looked down in silence for a moment, then looked up at him, nodded, and asked, "Captain Luoer, what’s your action plan?"

"You are the Air Fleet Commander, so you should be more familiar with the structure of the Asirens than we are. If we want to take control of a warship, where should we start?" Luoer asked in return.

"If it’s about controlling a ground support ship, the best way is to control three locations on the ship: the bridge, the anti-gravity engine room, and the propulsion engine room. If these three places can be controlled, a warship can be completely controlled, and any enemy on the ship will naturally surrender," Reimer said thoughtfully.

For safety reasons, all Ronisca airships’ anti-gravity engines and propulsion engines are not located in one place. And the anti-gravity engine, known as the soul of the airship, is even more heavily protected.

"The targets are too dispersed," Cheng Ziang began. "The Advance Team doesn’t have enough personnel to cover all these areas, so, I may need Captain Reimer to prioritize for us."

"Alright," Reimer nodded, then pointed to the layout on the table and said, "The first thing to control an airship is to control the anti-gravity engine. This is not only because the anti-gravity engine is the power source that keeps the airship aloft, but more importantly, controlling this location can instantly break the enemy’s morale on the airship, causing them to naturally lay down their weapons and surrender."

"Next is the bridge, of course," he paused, then continued, "The bridge is the command center of the ship, all orders on the airship are dispatched from there."

"So, as long as these two positions are controlled, one can fully control a warship?" Cheng Ziang asked, then looked at Luoer and continued, "If Mu Lansi has indeed defected, he is likely in the bridge. That’s our main target."

"If Captain Reimer can think of this, so can our enemies," Tangmo stepped forward, and pointed to the diagram, "That’s why the anti-gravity engine room will definitely have the strongest defenses, followed by the bridge. We should be thankful that the Asirens is a ground support ship, so it’s not equipped with an infantry force."

Tangmo then turned to the silent Luoer and suggested, "Luoer, the most important thing is to dissolve the resistance of the warship, everything else is secondary."

"I understand!" Luoer nodded, looking gratefully at Tangmo.

It was clear that Tangmo didn’t propose a direct solution, but rather guided him by providing hints and supporting data, to help Luoer make the best arrangements.

It has to be said that she clearly understood Luoer’s mindset. Knowing that he was a controlling leader, she rarely proposed solutions, allowing Luoer to make the decisions instead.

"In this case, the anti-gravity engine room becomes our primary target," Luoer surveyed the crowd, "but we can’t ignore Mulancis. After all, he is the most unstable factor. If he gets agitated, there’s no guarantee he won’t do something dangerous."

"So," after a moment of pondering, Luoer made the following decision, "Our first goal is to open a way into the Asiren’s interior. On this, Yue’er has provided a good idea. First, Yue’er and Fula cooperate and take advantage of the night to ride a transport plane to the side of the Asirens, targeting an air defense position. The rest of us will stay on the transport plane, maintaining a relative speed to hover above the Asirens."

"Once Yue’er paralyzes an air defense position, Fula immediately notifies us to land on the back of the Asirens. Then, Feng will deal with the remaining two air defense positions." Luoer commanded.

"Roger!" In response to Luoer’s order, Feng replied coldly.

"Next, Yue’er will join us, and meets up with the advance team members. After Yue’er is in contact with us, we will delegate the tasks for one minute. We will split into two small teams, Yue’er and Feng will tackle the anti-gravity engine room. I will take the rest of the people, with Fula as the guide, to find Mulancis. We will go wherever he is. If he is not in the bridge, let the Marines take control of the bridge." Luoer continued.

"Roger!" The crowd nodded.

"Then," Luoer said, turning to Reimer, "I would like the Air Fleet’s Marines to be ready at all times. Once we control the periphery of Asirens, send your troops immediately to control the areas we’ve cleared. If Mulancis is not on the bridge, let the Marines take control of the bridge, while the advance team searches for Mulancis. After all, as the unstable factor, it’s better to find him sooner."

"Leave it to me!" Reimer said sternly, nodding.

"Once the operation begins, we may have to maintain a period of communication interruption, after all, Fula needs to focus on finding the target and doesn’t have time to communicate." Luoer said.

"I can do it, I can do it!" Fulajie’er protested a bit petulantly towards Luoer.

"Enough, you’re not AI, even doing one or two things well is enough, there’s no need to be perfect." Luoer said, reassuring her with a smile.

Reimer looked at Luoer speaking cheerfully to the empty air, feeling a chill go down his spine. Although Luoer had explained that this ghost was a friend of the advance team, he still couldn’t help but feel scared.

Fulajie’er was very particular about keeping her soul domain clean, so she was cautious not to let it contact with outsiders like Reimer. This is the main reason why Reimer couldn’t hear her voice and felt scared.

"All teams remember to bring some explosives, this will make our assault easier," Luoer said, then turned to Baiyue, "Yue’er, you try to occupy the anti-gravity engine room as quickly as possible, and wait for the Marines’ support. If you can’t get through an area, you can use explosives, as long as it doesn’t affect the anti-gravity engine."

"I know!" Baiyue nodded seriously.

"Feng, come over," Luoer said, pulling Feng over to the table, and pointing at a device on the blueprint, "This is the anti-gravity engine, when you’re unleashing your power, make sure you don’t accidentally damage this device, otherwise we’ll all be in trouble."

"Okay!" Upon hearing Luoer’s words, Feng immediately turned serious and carefully examined the anti-gravity device.

Luoer had Feng and Baiyue form a separate team, effectively splitting half the advance team’s combat power for the task of capturing the anti-gravity engine. With Feng alone, this should suffice. Baiyue’s main role was to support and execute Luoer’s commands, preventing Feng from hitting and killing indiscriminately.

A single blow from Feng could cut through something as solid as the Otherworld Gate, let alone an airship made with technology inferior to Earth’s. What Luoer feared most was Feng being too forceful, directly slicing the airship in half. If that happens, she’ll be in trouble and that would affect everyone else too.
