Chapter 717: Chapter 710: I Want It All
The airboat took almost a day to complete the return journey. As soon as the airboat stabilized, Li Si and the others were eager to ride the transport plane to the research department at the camp to visit Luo’er.
"Luo’er’s injuries are mainly his fractures, of which the ribs are the most severe, two ribs are broken, but there’s no open wound, so resting for a while should hel. As for whether he’s infected, clinical symptoms do not show any signs of infection, but it still requires further observation," Dr. An Liang explained.
"We’re very grateful," Li Si said, a look of gratitude on his face.
An Liang nodded slightly, then said, "Next time, let him be cautious and avoid getting injured again, as his body is already very weak."
"I understand," Li Si nodded.
"Besides, the girl called Tangmo hopes to be isolated with Luo’er alone, what do you think..." An Liang tentatively suggested.
"Let them stay together," Li Si shrugged.
"That might not be a good idea," An Liang pointed out.
"Don’t worry, Dr. An Liang. Despite their mutual affection, both can restrain themselves. It will be alright," Cheng Ziang stepped forward and reassured him.
"Alright, if you all say so, then I won’t interfere," An Liang nodded, then as if something occurred to him, asked, "Can I conduct some routine examinations on Feng?"
"Uh..." Cheng Ziang and Li Si exchanged glances, then he nodded and said, "Alright then, we really can’t decline your request, Dr. An Liang. But I still want to remind you, Feng is a member of the Advance Team, and it’s our duty to ensure her safety."
"Don’t worry, these are only routine checks and data collections," An Liang waved his hand, paused for a moment, then continued, "I understand how you feel. None of you like the research center, and frankly, I don’t either, because they are too obsessed with research to the neglect of basic human nature."
Cheng Ziang suddenly realized Baiyue was still standing by his side, turned to look at her and found her standing in deep thought, raising her brows slightly. So, he asked her, "What’s wrong?"
"No, nothing!" Baiyue, awakened, shook her head.
"You don’t have any objections to our arrangement, do you?" Cheng Ziang asked her.
"No, I completely obey the arrangement." Baiyue said absent-mindedly.
"That’s good then."
After retreating from the battlefield, Luo’er was unconscious for three full days before he gradually woke up. When he opened his eyes, he found a stinging pain around his ribs, and both his left hand and foot were cast in thick plaster, making him incredibly uncomfortable.
With the only movable part of his body, his neck, he looked around and immediately locked eyes with a pair of affectionate eyes by his bed.
"Awake?" Tangmo asked gently, squinting her eyes.
"How come it’s you again," Luo’er’s voice was somewhat cold.
Hearing his words, Tangmo froze for a moment, then smiled knowingly, "It seems you still remember me, recognizing me with just a glance."
"I remember everything you’ve done vividly, there’s no way I wouldn’t recognize you." Luo’er sighed.
As the captain of the Advance Team, Luo’er was most sensitive to familiar smells, even more so than Cheng Ziang. Hence, he didn’t need to closely observe the oddities of Tangmo, but could tell if she was Moumou or Momo purely by sensing her aura.
Luo’er tried to struggle up, but was quickly pushed back down by Tangmo: "Don’t move. Patients can’t move around carelessly."
"Why are we the only ones here?" Luo’er obediently lay down, looking around and asked.
"Because we’ve been isolated just by ourselves," Tangmo gloated.
"Ridiculous!" Upon hearing her triumphant words, Luo’er immediately retorted angrily.
Although he didn’t know what had happened after he fell unconscious, he could roughly guess. He was isolated because his gas mask was knocked off during the battle. And Tangmo was probably isolated for the same reason, probably due to her own initiative.
"Moumou also agreed with my approach," Tangmo pouted and muttered when being criticized by Luo’er.
"Which is exactly why both of you deserve to be admonished!" Luo’er furrowed his brows, answering sternly.
"You don’t seem scared, or even surprised about my existence," Tangmo said, with a smile looking at him.
"Even if I was scared or surprised, what could I do, kill you? You and Moumou are one and the same. If you die, what about her? Do I really have a choice?" sighed Luo’er.
Hearing him, the smile on Tangmo’s face only grew stronger, she cheerfully responded:"Actually, my sister approved my presence. She could retrieve her body at any time, so my existence is consented by her. You don’t need to worry about me playing tricks."
"What are you two planning now?" Luo’er asked, frowning.
"Luo’er," Tangmo moved closer to the bed, laying her body forward and looking deeply into Luo’er’s eyes, filled with an affectionate gaze.
"Let me warn you, I am a patient. I can’t go wild," Luo’er said, expressionless.
"Already thinking about that, huh?" Hearing his remark, Tangmo giggled even harder, as she reached down and unbuttoned the first button of Luo’er’s uniform.
Luo’er felt helpless about her actions, took a deep sigh and decided to leave it up to fate.
"Rest assured, I know your principle, a forced melon is never sweet," Surprisingly, Tangmo buttoned him back up, yet did not sit up straight, but continued to gaze at him.
"Luo’er, do you really like me?" Tangmo asked, propping her cheek up with one hand.
"I love Moumou, not you. You are a completely separate personality," said Luo’er truthfully.
"Why can’t you love me too?" Tangmo stated unhappily.
"Won’t that make me seem fickle?" Luo’er shrugged his shoulders.
"So you do realize you’re fickle!" Upon hearing his response, Tangmo pinched his face, grinding her teeth.
Luo’er is indeed half of the Elf blood which, although weather-beaten, has an exceptionally fair and soft face that Tangmo cannot resist, and kept on fondling it endlessly.
"If you love my sister, then why can’t you love me as well?" Tangmo asked, her lips pouting.
"Now that you’ve acknowledged Moumou as your sister, what qualifications do you have to ask me to love you as an independent personality?" Luo’er answered truthfully.
"If you love my sister, then by right you should love me as well. We share the same body. If I fall in love with someone else, you’ll be the one wearing the green hat," Tangmo gritted her teeth as she continued to pinch Luo’er’s delicate cheeks.
Luo’er’s cheek feels too good, which causes her to can’t let go, she can’t help but play with it. The previous Moumou also wanted to do this, but she never dared.
"Ah..." Tangmo’s words did leave Luo’er stumped. It made sense. If Moumou fell in love with someone else, it wouldn’t be too pleasant to have his head filled with green.
"So, either take it all or let go!" Tangmo said.
"Isn’t there a third option?" Luo’er asked after a moment’s hesitation.
"Well, if you want one woman to serve two men, that’s okay with me. I’m not sure about my sister though..." said Tangmo, before suddenly changing her expression, followed by a violent cough, then muttered sulkily, "Yeah, she minds..."
"What’s Moumou’s stance on this?" Luo’er asked.
"Come on, does she really have a choice? Whether she chooses me or herself, it’s a win-win for her. Why bother splitting hairs over it?" Tangmo replied.
"Oh, I really can’t take you two..." Luo’er, couldn’t help but sigh, irritated.
"Hurry up and choose. Or else, I’ll start stripping," Tangmo said, straightening her body and once again undoing the button on Luo’er’s uniform.
"Why on earth are you taking your clothes off?" Luo’er asked in shock.
"To force a confession," Tangmo said with a mischievous smile.
"All right, all right," Faced with this eccentric Moumou, Luo’er sighed helplessly, and then said, "I’ll take them all!"
