Chapter 388: Chapter 381: Means of Threat
"Ah, oh, then what?" After being interrupted, Yalunte was a bit flustered.
Luo’er looked around, then said with excitement, "I think I’ve found a way to deal with Azita".
"Boss, are you planning to..." Hu Daoke looked at him and asked hesitantly.
"Exactly," Luo’er nodded, "Our bishop doesn’t seem to like the people of the Ancient States, if he knew that the Hound Gang in the east district had contacts with them, what would he do?"
"Are you planning to let the Church Court clean up the Hound Gang?" Cheng Ziang asked.
"Not entirely," Luo’er closed the list, then said confidently, "If we use this as a threat to Azita, I think he should submit."
"Will that guy listen to you," Cheng Ziang asked doubtfully, "You also said he’s a tough character, what if he refuses to be threatened and goes all out, wouldn’t your situation be bad?"
"The Hound Gang has grown to become a huge organization. I don’t think Azita would risk ruining the Hound Gang for Fu’en. After all, their relationship with the CIA is not an alliance, but mutual use. If betraying Fu’en can bring stability to the Hound Gang, I don’t think he would have another choice." Luo’er analyzed.
"The list only states that the Hound Gang smuggled the Magic Crystal to the Ancient States, I suspect that the Bishop Dulens won’t destroy the Hound Gang just because of this?" Hu Daoke frowningly raised his own view.
"Whether Dulens would be angered by this I do not know, but we need to create a sense of crisis. Azita will have no chance to directly question Dulens about their smuggling of Magic Crystal to the Ancient States, which gives us a lot of room to operate." Luo’er explained.
"Luo’er’s plan focuses on threatening, not using the Church Court to solve the matter." Cheng Ziang rolled his eyes and said.
"Correct, we need to make them feel that the matter is serious and that we are the only ones capable of handling it. That way, I think Azita should submit." Luo’er nodded.
"Oh, isn’t anyone listening to my story about the City of Stars?" Yalunte suddenly inserted.
"Stop causing a nuisance." Cheng Ziang lightly kicked him and said.
"Little Ke, immediately take this list back to the academy and give it to Moumou or Yue’er, let them know, in case we encounter any unexpected situation here, to immediately hand over the list to Shariya." Luo’er handed the list to Hu Daoke.
"In that case, Sister Moumou is going to go crazy." Hu Daoke said worriedly.
"Then find a more tactful way to break it to them, complete it and immediately return, we will start deploying immediately!" Luo’er commanded.
"Got it, I’m off!" Hu Daoke took the list, nodded and said.
"Wait," Luo’er stopped him, then called over Truth, "Take her with you, hand her over to Moumou. It’s not safe for her here now!"
"Lord Luo’er..." Truth looked up at him uneasily.
"Truth, you’ve contributed a lot this time, you’ve done very well, now you should go to a safe place until we complete the task, then we will take you with us!" Luo’er hugged her shoulders and said.
"Oh..." Truth stared at him wide-eyed, not knowing what to say, and just nodded stiffly.
"Don’t be afraid of him, he may seem fierce, but he’s actually very gentle." Luo’er looked at Hu Daoke and said.
"I’m not scared..." Truth shook her head.
"Let’s go, girl!" Hu Daoke beckoned.
After the two left the room, Cheng Ziang looked at him and asked, "What should we do?"
"Check weapons and equipment, wait for Murong and the others to return, prepare to start the capture." Luo’er said simply.
"How are you planning this?" Cheng Ziang asked.
"You two cover me while I negotiate with Azita alone." Luo’er said.
"Are you crazy? You’re the captain, if something happens to you what about the mission?" Cheng Ziang asked.
"Don’t I have you?" Luo’er said.
"Bullshit, I can’t handle them, it was barely possible with just the Advance Team, now there are also Murong and the others." Cheng Ziang said.
"It’s alright, I think Azita shouldn’t go to the point of a final showdown." Luo’er comforted.
"Why do you always like to lead the charge? You’re the captain, isn’t it better to command properly?" Cheng Ziang shook his head and said.
"It’s more convenient for me to do some things myself," Luo’er explained.
"Huh, still sticking to your old conservative principles, happy as long as everyone else is safe, and you can bear all misfortunes." Cheng Ziang said somewhat displeased.
"Don’t worry, I’ll go with him." Yalunte, who was standing nearby, patted his arm and suddenly spoke up.
"Mr. Sword Saint, you..." Luo’er said hesitantly.
"Little Elf, not everything has to be attended by you for the whole team to be safe. If something happens to you, then the entire team would collapse. Haven’t you noticed? The squad is built around you, if you were to die and the team falls apart, that would be the most dangerous situation. Without anyone to restrain the actions of the Advance Team, they would do as they please and it would be a loss instead." Yalunte said calmly.
"I understand..." Luo’er nodded in agreement after a moment of thought.
Several hours later, Murong and the others joined them, Luo’er explained his arrangements to them and everyone began preparing.
By the afternoon, Hu Daoke had finally returned, followed by the two girls, Tangmo and Baiyue. They walked into the room, removed their black cloaks, and immediately glared at Luo’er with resentful eyes.
"Why did they come?" Luo’er, feeling somewhat uneasy under their gaze, took Hu Daoke aside and asked in a low voice.
"Err, they said they were worried about you, I tried to dissuade them, but there was no use..." Hu Daoke stuttered while scratching his head.
"What about True Principle?" Luo’er asked.
"True Principle is with Shangguan Jiu, she initially wanted to come too, but I somehow managed to persuade her to stay behind at the Academy to look after True Principle." Hu Daoke shrugged.
"Well, they’re here now, let’s just include them in." Luo’er sighed.
"Luo’er, are you taking the risk alone again?" Tangmo stepped forward, a frown on her face.
"Ah, it’s not dangerous at all, and Mr. Sword Saint is coming with me." Luo’er waved his hand.
"I don’t care, I’m going with you." Tangmo insisted stubbornly.
"Don’t make trouble, we’re not going there to play." Luo’er scratched his head.
"Don’t worry, I’ll watch over your little elf, he won’t get lost." Yalunte glanced at them and laughed.
Tangmo gave him a look, then turned her head to look at Luo’er. Despite being angry, she ultimately agreed.
"Well, since we’re all here, let’s get organized into the mission." Luo’er sighed.
"What do we need to do?" Baiyue asked.
"Cover for me while I inquire about the hound gang leader Fu’en’s whereabouts. The best possible outcome is that they bring him to us, if not, we’ll activate the second plan which is forming a capture team." Luo’er answered.
"Okay!" Baiyue nodded, taking off her sniper rifle.
After the arrangements, Luo’er and Yalunte headed towards the Hound Gang’s hideout once again. The others were responsible for covering them. Even though it was almost afternoon, Luo’er was not planning on waiting until the next day. He hopes to resolve the situation as soon as possible and leave Holy Heart City.
Luo’er strode towards the Hound Gang’s hideout, the detour he took before seemed to mean nothing to him, as he easily found the gang’s hideout in the alleyway.
Youlante wore a black cloak and hat and followed behind him. He had a long sword on his waist, giving off an intimidating aura that made the Hound Gang’s members that were trying to track them feel on edge.
When Luo’er arrived at the Hound Gang’s headquarters, there were already people guarding there. Their every move had been watched by members of the Hound Gang, so word about their approach had spread quickly.
Luo’er looked around, recognizing that they were surrounded by the Hound Gang. He looked at the leader blocking the entrance and said calmly, "I have something to discuss with your boss, please let him know."
"Who are you? It’s not up to you to see our leader just because you want to." The person in charge gave them a cold stare.
"Listen closely, this matter is very important and directly relates to the survival of the Hound Gang. If it is messed up due to your arrogance, will you be able to bear such responsibility?" Luo’er stared at the person and challenged.
Hearing Luo’er’s comments, many changed their facial expressions. The leader instinctively stepped back and asked, "What matter are you referring to?"
"It’s not your place to discuss this with me, get your boss to meet me." Luo’er said indifferently.
"You..." The person was angered into humiliation, and the surrounding Hound Gang members began to brandish their weapons. They had various types of cold weapons and some firearms.
"Clang..."
A crisp sound of metal being unsheathed, Yalunte calmly drew the long sword from his waist. He stood silently with his head down. Even though he was just standing there, the drawn sword seemed to emit an invisible, intimidating sword aura that made everyone around shudder. Some were even unable to hold their weapons steady.
"I hope you understand how important this matter is to you. If you are not afraid of death, then stall, we don’t mind." Luo adjusted his shoulders, and despite being in a dangerous situation, he even showed a smile.
"You wait..." Faced with Luo’s threats, the small leader blocking the entrance eventually gave in, clenched his teeth, and walked into the house.
The Hound Gang thugs surrounded them, but Luo’er didn’t feel endangered, as they were already encircled by the Advance Team. Plus, with Yalunte backing him up, he didn’t need to worry about his safety at all.
