Chapter 349: Chapter 342: Everyone is Safe

Luo’er picked up Baiyue, then checked the pulse at her neck, and only after confirming her heartbeat did he let out a sigh of relief. With all his strength, he picked up the unconscious Baiyue and moved her to an open area.

She had just been laid flat on the ground when from afar came the joyous voice of Hu Daoke: "Boss, Sister Moumou has been found!"

Hearing this, Luo’er quickly rushed over and saw that Hu Daoke was carrying Tangmo towards him with a pleased look on his face: "Sister Moumou is alright, she’s just unconscious, thankfully."

Luo’er noticed that Tangmo’s arm was hanging in an unnatural way. Even though she was unconscious, her brows were tightly furrowed, indicating that she was in pain.

"Put her down, watch her hand!" Luo’er shouted.

Hearing his shout, Hu Daoke hesitated for a moment before looking down at her and seeing that something was indeed wrong, his face instantly changed: "What’s happening to Sister Moumou..."

Taking a step forward, Luo’er examined her arm and let out a sigh of relief: "It’s a dislocation. No biggie, just put her down over there!"

"Eh!" Hu Daoke nodded, then carefully carried Tangmo to lay her down on an open space.

"Dean! Dean! Dean Shariya!" Luo’er had barely relaxed when he heard Feliz crying out not far away. A sense of alarm pounded in his heart as he quickly walked towards Feliz’s direction.

Pushing through dense bushes, Luo’er found Shariya amidst the jungle. His condition was a lot worse than both girls. His left arm was trapped under a large rock, forced into an abnormal curve, no doubt broken. There was a large gaping wound on his head as well. Blood had dyed his face and beard red.

Feliz didn’t know how to deal with these injuries, hence she could only kneel by his side helplessly. To Feliz, the kindly Dean Shariya had always looked after all the students like their grandfather. Seeing him injured was heartbreaking to her.

Luo’er walked over, then squatted down to examine Shariya’s injuries. Seeing Luo’er’s arrival seemed a lifeline to Feliz as she grabbed his hand and pleaded, "Luo’er, please, save Dean Shariya!"

"Calm down, let me check on him first!" Luo’er comforted her as he patted her small hand.

He examined Shariya’s injuries and concluded that he was merely unconscious with no internal injuries. However, his external injuries were severe. His left arm was badly fractured and he was suffering from significant blood loss, his lips were ghastically pale.

After a quick diagnosis of Shariya’s condition, Luo’er used some branches to remove the rock and stabilise his fractured arm. This level of injury was, on Earth considered serious but not life-threatening as long as it was promptly treated.

Next, Luo’er used a hemostatic bag to control the bleeding from Shariya’s head injury and then bound it with a bandage. In Otherworld, such external injuries could be fully healed by Healing Magic, so there was no real need for any intensive care.

After treating the wounds, Luo’er and Feliz struggled to lift him out from the dense bushes, laying him flat on the ground.

Their safety brought relief to Luo’er. Hu Daoke returned to the town with his pistol to do a brief sweep of the battlefield and recovered his AK rifle and AK74U. Hu Daoke’s machine gun was severely damaged, now he had to make do with his rifle.

"That was close," Hu Daoke said, casting a lingering fearful glance at the inner city, "now the whole town is silent. Aside from the rain nothing can be heard, only the frame of Otherworld Gate is left."

"Did you see any signs of other people getting up?" Luo’er asked.

"No. But with such a powerful blast, how could anyone have survived it?" Hu Daoke shrugged while inspecting his beloved RPK machine gun.

"Wasn’t our plan just to focus the Magic? Why did it explode?" Feliz sat on the ground with her knees curled up, looking puzzled.

"They probably wanted to die together," Luo’er speculated as he glanced at Tangmo and Baiyue, "If the Otherworld Gate were to close just like that, those people wouldn’t let us off."

"So it was the Light Singularity that exploded?" Feliz asked.

"Hmm," Luo’er nodded his head affirmatively. Prior to passing out, he saw the cluster of Magic shot towards the Otherworld Gate. He guessed that Tangmo decided to explode the Magic Cluster at the last minute to eliminate Otherworld Gate and their enemies.

"Before I started Practicing, I never thought I’d encounter such dangerous things," Feliz remarked as she looked at Luo’er, "it feels like ever since I met you, I’ve been constantly thrown into danger."

"Err..." Luo’er couldn’t find a rebuttal to Feliz’s statement.

"But it’s also because of you that I could survive. If Uncle Swordsman hadn’t come looking for you, I might have already been humiliated to death," Feliz continued.

"Do you have any idea about Uncle Swordsman’s situation?" Feliz sighed as she mentioned Yalunte.

"He should be alright... I think..." As soon as Luo’er thought about Yalunte and Wang Ziang, he too started feeling nervous. Now they had to wait for Tangmo to wake up so she could contact Headquarters and confirm their safety.

The Otherworld Gate had been closed. If Wang Ziang and Yalunte had gone to Earth ahead of time, then they could only return to Otherworld via the Gate at Yazhi City now.

Considering this, Luo’er felt like he couldn’t wait anymore. He stood up, then gazed at Feliz and asked, "Can you still use Magic?"

"I can!" Feliz nodded, then she searched in her pocket for the magic wand that Luo’er had given her.

"Go treat Dean Shariya’s wounds, I’ll check on their conditions!" Luo’er instructed.

"Yes, I understand!" Feliz nodded, then turned and began to apply Healing Magic to treat the wound on Shariya’s forehead.

Once Shariya was thrown into the bushes, the shield magic he had conjured ceased, and all the magic from the outside world suddenly flooded in, brining the magic here into balance instantly. However, it didn’t matter anymore because the Otherworld Gate had already collapsed and closed due to the overload of magic influx.

"Little Ke, stop fiddling with your gun. Hurry over and help me put Moumou’s arm back in place!" Luo’er shouted as he walked.

"On my way!" Upon hearing this, Hu Daoke immediately put down his light machine gun and ran to Luo’er’s side.

They arrived in front of Tangmo. Hu Daoke picked Tangmo up, and then Luo’er began to hold her arm, preparing to put it back in place.

The dislocation of Tangmo’s arm was at the shoulder. Although she could feel the pain, she was still unconscious. Therefore, Luo’er simply moved her arm a few times to make sure she was completely relaxed, then abruptly jerked it back into position.

In an instant, Tangmo, who was still unconscious, let out a desperate scream, jolted awake by the pain. She clung to her arm crying, tears streaming down her face.

"It’s okay, it’s all over now," Luo’er said gently as he rubbed her arm and comforted her.

"You didn’t even wait for me to wake up before you did that, that’s too much!" Tangmo cried and complained.

"It would hurt more if you were awake. Now that it’s popped back in, just wait for it to heal gradually," Luo’er reassured her.

"Where’s Yue’er?" Tangmo struggled to look around, asking anxiously.

"She’s fine, just unconscious." Luo’er said.

"Oh," Tangmo sighed in relief when she saw Shariya being treated not far away and hearing Luo’er’s words. Immediately, she thought of something else and continued to ask, "Has the Otherworld Gate been closed?"

"Don’t worry, Sister Moumou, the Otherworld Gate is closed!" Hu Daoke said, lowering his head to comfort her.

"What about those people?" Tangmo continued.

"All dead!" Hu Daoke said.

"Are you okay now?" Luo’er looked at her with concern.

"I feel a bit stuffy in my chest, seems like my veins have been damaged." Talking about her own body, Tangmo couldn’t help but cough, then said.

"You’re really tough, forcing an attack mode for the Magic Singularity." Luo’er sighed and said.

"Well, it’s because I was worried about you guys," Seeing Luo’er’s expression, Tangmo lowered her head and said timidly, "If those people were not eliminated, we would have died anyway even if the Otherworld Gate was closed, so I..."

"Enough, it’s all happened now. Apologizing to me is pointless, and you didn’t do anything wrong." Luo’er said.

"I didn’t expect that spell to be so powerful..." Tangmo murmured quietly.

"Can you still use the magical messenger? Contact the headquarters immediately, determine the whereabouts of Ziang and Mr. Sword Saint." Luo’er said.

"Don’t worry, if it’s just minor damage..." Tangmo struggled to get up, but immediately coughed violently and continued, "It’s okay, the magical messenger can still be used."

"Take it easy, other than the magical messenger, you must not use any other magic, not even first-level ones!" Luo’er said with a frown.

"I got it..." Tangmo muttered quietly, puffing out her cheeks.

In a lull between their conversation, Baiyue also gradually woke up. Seeing her getting up from the ground, Luo’er quickly walked over, grabbed her shoulders and asked with concern, "Are you okay?"

"I’m fine," Although Baiyue’s head was still a bit fuzzy, she replied to Luo’er’s word very clearly, "Sister Moumou took on the tilted magic, so she must have it worse than me."

"Really glad to know that both of you only have minor injuries!" Seeing them both safe and sound, Luo’er couldn’t help but speak sincerely.
