Chapter 1104 - 1097: Formless God

Chapter 1104: Chapter 1097: Formless God

As the ritual progressed, a massive lump of flesh began to converge and then slowly stood up. Its body occasionally dripped with a sticky liquid that slightly resembled oil, though it was dark red in color.

Gradually the flesh became erect and formed elongated shapes. The liquid that dropped onto the ground from it seemed alive, moving back towards the main mass like slime and then being reabsorbed as part of the flesh.

During this process, everyone’s gaze was fixed on the indescribable lump of flesh. Yet Falei, who was close by, seemed not in the least afraid of being consumed by the flesh like cattle; she stood firmly with her wand in hand, not even a tremor of fear showing.

The constantly writhing mass of flesh was not only absorbing the digested flesh fluids but also frantically absorbing magical energy. Magic flowed along patterns into its body, and for a moment the entire magic array dulled once again.

Slowly, the mass of flesh began to take shape, gradually revealing a human form though it didn’t appear tall, only just over one meter.

The chunks of flesh writhed, taking shape into this "person’s" body and limbs by some will. As the shape of the flesh became clearer to everyone, the "person" began to twist and turn. Combined with the movement of the flesh, the sight was unsettling and made Luo’er’s scalp tingle.

The flesh became more and more humanlike until finally, the "person’s" body suddenly arched backward as if in convulsion. Along with its movements, the flesh started to writhe intensely and then slowly paled and began to take form.

In this strange posture, under the stunned gaze of all, the lump of flesh gradually transformed into a petite girl. Her skin was extremely pale, and her long, flowing hair indicated her gender.

There she was, her body exposed to everyone’s view. No need to worry though, as she had no obvious sexual characteristics—perhaps she had no need for them.

She arched backward in a bizarre angle, an arch no ordinary person could achieve. As her body twisted, her fingers were also contorting as if she was suffering.

When the light of the magic array in the plaza finally vanished, the newly born girl seemed to have ended her suffering as she slowly straightened up. At this moment, the crowd finally had the opportunity to witness her face.

It was a typical elf face, yet unlike elves whose features have minor flaws, her features were perfect, without any blemish.

But for some reason, her face looked immature, giving an impression of not being fully grown. Combined with her just-over-one-meter stature, it was clear she had the image of a little loli.

Although she had the image of a little girl, no female characteristics were visible on her body. She stood nude on the central steps of the plaza, and for some unknown purpose, she cast a meaningful glance at Luo’er.

Luo’er was so startled by her gaze that he broke out in a cold sweat. Her crimson pupils seemed to contain some charm, almost drawing his soul out of his body in an instant.

The girl’s hair, like strands of silver, cascaded down, reaching the ground even as she stood up.

This was Xiapei Kam, the goddess of Xia Yue Island, the future goddess of the Otherworld. Witnessing this scene, all the elves, be they civilians, nobles, or soldiers, knelt excitedly on the spot, hands raised palm up, and bowed their heads shouting fervently.

"Great God, please allow your humble servant to clothe you, so no mortal may defile your peerless body," Falei knelt on the ground, removing her robe and offering it to the girl with shaking hands and voice.

Her voice trembled, and so did her body, but not out of fear—out of excitement.

Seeing Falei’s actions, the girl showed her first expression—a faint smile—and then gently patted her hand while snapping her fingers in midair with the other hand.

With a crisp snap of her fingers, the flesh on her body that had already stabilized and displayed pale skin began to squirm restlessly once again, then slowly formed into a blouse and skirt.

The Advance Team did not kneel but stood dumbfounded, watching the scene unfold. They were nearly bewitched by her otherworldly beauty and flawless complexion, almost forgetting her true form was an indescribable mass of flesh.

The girl seemed quite pleased with her clothes, looking herself over continuously. It was the most common attire for Night Elves, but on her, it still bore an air of transcendence.

She was like a flare in the night sky; when she appeared before them, even the elves seemed dim and lackluster. The Night Elves truly became literal night elves, invisible in her presence.

Although she had transformed clothes, for some reason, the girl did not create shoes and was still exposing her delicate feet, stepping on the hard stone bricks.

Her hair became lively the moment her clothes appeared, floating in mid-air, appearing inexplicably dreamy.

After completing all this, the girl pushed Falei’s hand away, signaling her not to block the path, and then walked straight towards Luo’er. When she reached the edge of the steps, she did not walk down but stood there and crooked her finger at Luo’er.

"Eh?" Seeing her gesture, Luo’er looked around, and Cheng Ziang patted his arm, lowering his voice, "She seems to be asking you to go over."

"Luo’er, don’t go, I’m scared..." Tangmo clutched Luo’er’s hand, saying anxiously.

"Don’t be afraid, she probably won’t hurt me," Luo’er consoled her before taking a deep breath, finally resolving himself, and walked towards the girl.

He did not approach her directly but stopped a meter away, asking her warily, "Are you Xiapei Kam?"

The girl did not speak, continuing to smile and gestured for Luo’er to come closer.

After hesitating once more, Luo’er bit his lip and moved step by step closer to the girl, looking down at her from above. The girl squinted her eyes, gazing up at Luo’er, and seeming to realize her behavior was somewhat improper, Luo’er knelt down halfway, switching to a posture of looking up at the girl.

This was a submissive gesture, and seeing Luo’er’s actions, the girl smiled with narrowed eyes, her eyes shaping into a beautiful crescent, clearly a genuine smile.

However, suddenly, the girl’s hand shot out like lightning, grabbing Luo’er’s throat with such force that her fingers sank deeply into his skin, piercing his flesh.

"Luo’er!!!" Tangmo let out a hoarse scream. Just as the Advance Team was about to respond, the girl raised her other hand and, in an instant, the air seemed to freeze, immobilizing everyone in place. It was as if the air had formed containers that enclosed their stances, fixing them where they stood.

Indeed, as a god, with just one move, the girl subdued everyone present, not just the members of the Advance Team but also the Night Elves who were incapable of moving.

Seeing all this, the girl withdrew her hand, looking at Luo’er with a tilted head and a smile, while everyone could only watch helplessly as she almost squeezed Luo’er’s neck to breaking point.

Her fingers turned into dark red squirming tentacles once again, wandering through his body while penetrating Luo’er’s skin. Luo’er opened his mouth and widened his eyes at the scene, unable to make any sound, for the moment the girl had restrained him, she had blocked his vocal cords.

Strangely, even though his body was invaded by the girl’s tentacles, Luo’er did not feel the expected agonizing pain. Apart from the repulsion caused by the tentacles moving inside him, his body surprisingly showed little reaction to the girl’s intrusion.
