"Hmm, be careful up there!" Tangmo didn’t refuse, nodded, then turned and grabbed Baiyue’s hand, the two of them supporting each other as they headed to the cabin.

"Captain Wadulan, order your sailors to take up arms and prepare for battle!" Luo’er turned and loudly said to Wadulan.

"It’s useless," Wadulan said with a mournful face, despairing.

"Captain Wadulan, you are the captain of the Venture, don’t give up hope so easily!" Luo’er said through clenched teeth.

Upon hearing Luo’er’s words, Wadulan was stunned for a moment, then suddenly thought of his family, and suddenly a surge of strength filled his limbs. He gripped the ship’s wheel tightly with one hand and waved the other vigorously, shouting at the top of his lungs, "Sailors, take up your weapons, prepare for battle!"

"Yes!" The captain’s command inspired the equally panicked sailors, and they rallied anew. Some resumed steering the ship, while others heeded the captain’s call to rush into the cabins in search of weapons.

Meanwhile, following Luo’er’s orders, Tangmo and Baiyue stumbled into the cabin, trying to find something valuable to use against the unseen Leviathan.

A group of sailors rushed into a cabin, then emerged swiftly carrying bolt-action rifles and hurried back to the deck.

The cabin below was dimmer than the passenger cabins, with less bright lighting. Baiyue walked a few steps forward, unknowingly kicked something heavy, and immediately tripped and fell, groaning in pain as she rubbed her toes.

"Are you alright?" Tangmo turned on his magic crystal flashlight and bent down to ask with concern.

"It’s nothing," Baiyue waved her hand and then reached out to touch the object that had tripped her.

Under the glow of the flashlight, they saw an old muzzle-loading cannon quietly standing there, with a gunport at the muzzle position that was, however, closed.

"Hey, there’s a cannon, can it be used?" Tangmo excitedly asked after seeing the cannon, then continued searching and only found two cannons.

"There are cannonballs too, it should work," Baiyue pointed at the solid shots stacked in a wooden frame beside the cannon.

"Good, let’s have the sailors use these cannons against the Leviathan," Tangmo said excitedly.

"The effect might not be that great," Baiyue shook her head, somewhat disheartened, "This old-fashioned cannon’s power when fired into water is even less than a bullet, not to mention its poor accuracy."

"Alright, I’ll check," Tangmo nodded, then she attached the flashlight to her chest and began to look.

After resting for a while, Baiyue also attached her flashlight to her shoulder and joined her in searching for the gunpowder barrels.

"This..." Tangmo noticed several barrels piled up in the corner, so she walked over and knocked on one of the barrels vigorously while smelling it intensely.

The bottom of the barrel had a metal tap, and at first glance, one would think it was a barrel for liquor, because barrels in Otherworld were often made in this shape; thus, Tangmo didn’t pay much attention at the beginning.

Baiyue stepped forward, turned the tap directly, and then gave the barrel a solid pat. What followed was stunning—the contents flowing out from the tap was not liquor, but pitch-black gunpowder.

Seeing this, Baiyue quickly shut the tap, then she did a quick inspection of these barrels. Looking at the gunpowder barrels piled together, a bold plan began to form in her mind.

"Sister Moumou, I have an idea, and I need your cooperation..." Baiyue said, leaning close to whisper into Tangmo’s ear.

"Reliable?" Hearing her plan, Tangmo’s eyes widened with a hint of surprise.

"Let’s try," Baiyue replied.

"Then good, let’s give it a try," Tangmo nodded excitedly, and then helped Baiyue push a barrel as tall as a person from the corner.

Next, Baiyue examined the gunpowder barrel carefully. She noticed that the top of the barrel had an opening, which was sealed with a metal lid, and upon unscrewing the lid, she saw that the barrel was filled with pitch-black gunpowder.

She noticed that the inner wall of the barrel seemed to have a layer of oil paper designed to prevent dampness. Thanks to this layer, the gunpowder inside remained dry and powdery, instead of clumping together due to moisture.

"Sister Moumou, we can do it!" After lightly rubbing the gunpowder between her fingers, Baiyue turned, her voice full of excitement as she spoke to Tangmo.

"Great, there are five barrels of gunpowder here. I’ll stay and refine them; you go up quickly and inform Luo’er about our plan and have them send someone to move these barrels to the deck," Tangmo instructed.

"Okay, I’m off then. Sister Moumou, be absolutely careful!" Baiyue nodded, her words tinged with worry.

"Don’t worry, I will take care of myself. Besides, if anything happens to me, aren’t you still there with Luo’er?" Tangmo said with a smile.

"What nonsense are you talking about!" Baiyue suddenly became angry, turning her head to glare at her.

"Hehe, sorry, sorry, my bad," Tangmo stuck out her tongue and quickly bowed her head.

Meanwhile, Fulajie’er quickly flew back and reported to Luo’er, "Luo’er Luo’er, there seems to be a very big fish under the water, swallowing sea water. The whirlpool is created by it."

"How deep is it?" Luo’er asked urgently, his heart missing a beat as he feared the worst had happened.

"About, about a hundred meters or so. The deeper it goes, the weaker the magical power, so I can only dive that deep..." Fulajie’er timidly replied.

"How far is it from us?" Luo’er continued to ask.
