Chapter 143: Chapter 123 The Golden Age 3 Prophecy
In the main hall of the Country of Divines.
Divine King Shan En, holding the majestic Divine Statue of thunder, stood tall in the depths of the main hall.
The Divine Statues of the Country of Divines were all cast by the Craftsman and Mountain God, Hiris. He chose the finest stone from within the Celestial Kingdom and poured his Original Divine Power into his hammer to create such splendor for the Temples of the Gods.
Divine King Shan En raised his hand and gently touched the Divine Statue of the Country of Divines.
The Divine Statue before him contained Shan En’s Original Divine Power. It was his command to Hiris to cast Divine Statues for the Gods, after which he ordered all Gods to infuse a strand of their Original Divine Power into their respective Divine Statues.
Shan En had his profound reasons for doing so.
One of which was to utterly stabilize the Country of Divines by using the Original Divine Power of the Gods to seal away the self-awareness of the Historical Stars.
In this vast Celestial Kingdom, although each star had its oddities, the deep red Historical Star underfoot was undoubtedly the most peculiar.
Divine King Shan En had long noticed that this star’s self-awareness was incredibly nascent, sometimes it had its own thoughts, and at other times it simply followed its instincts, much like a child.
And what he needed to do was use the Original Divine Power of the Gods to suppress the self-awareness of the Historical Star, allowing its soul to fall into a deep sleep.
Only in this way could the Country of Divines become utterly stable and he could control the Divine Power of the Historical Star.
It could be said that the Divine Statue of Divine King Shan En was the core of all Divine Statues, and only His Divine Statue had the ability to summon the Historical Star.
Tap, tap...
Footsteps echoed on the fine white stone as Divine King Shan En turned around to see Prophetic God Kagawus entering the main hall.
"Great Divine King."
"Kagawus," Divine King Shan En approached Kagawus and asked,
"Those Logos, have you hidden them well?"
Prophetic God Kagawus nodded slightly, as the power of prophecy surged in His hands, and then He constructed a scroll that unfolded before Divine King Shan En.
"Divine King, I, along with the Secret God, have concealed those mountain elves upon the earth and surrounded the location of Nus Kingdom with layers of fog. This is enough to stop most races from the outside world from finding these mountain elves," Prophetic God Kagawus explained to Divine King Shan En while pointing to the scroll before him.
The Secret God referred to by Kagawus was named Eo.
Divine King Shan En nodded slightly.
Once, the very first five Divine agreed not to allow the Logos to partake in the splendor created by the Gods.
Now, as the Gods aimed to forge a Golden Age upon the earth, how could they permit Nus Kingdom to emerge from the mountains and partake of the fruits of other civilizations?
Beyond that, Divine King Shan En concealed the location of the mountain elves also to prevent the Gods from easily making contact with that group of mortals who claimed to be the children of the Divine.
In the Celestial Kingdom, thousands upon thousands of Divine had already awakened, and Divine King Shan En could not ensure that some of them might interact with the mountain elves and, seduced by their charm, rebel in the name of the Father of the Gods against the Divine Authority of the Country of Divines.
Divine King Shan En forged the Country of Divines with the purpose of creating order amongst the Divine beings, so how could he tolerate any of the Divine shaking this grand order.
"Kagawus, you have done well," said Divine King Shan En.
Kagawus, gazing at the Divine King, couldn’t help but ask,
"Divine King, can all that we have done truly prevent the onset of the Prophecy?"
Shan En remained silent, merely gazing intently at Kagawus.
For three thousand years, countless divine beings had awakened to self-consciousness. To prevent the order among the gods from faltering, Divine King Shan En had tasked the Hidden God, Eir, with concealing the prophecy and required all divinities privy to it to swear an oath of death, never to reveal it without permission.
Beyond this, to maintain order, Divine King Shan En also deliberately obscured the traces of the Father of All Gods.
"Kagawus, our father once reversed the course of the Fate Line,"
After a long gaze at the Prophetic God, Divine King Shan En spoke gravely,
"How could we, the gods, not defy the destiny that is meant to befall us?"
The Prophetic God Kagawus fell silent, wielding the prophetic divine authority, one of the few able to glimpse the Fate Line. It was precisely because of this that he understood the terror of destiny far more than many divinities.
Divine King Shan En continued,
"What are you hesitating about, Kagawus? Do you wish to accept that the vitality ruling the Mortal World could slip through our fingers?
Once, I too was in utter despair over that fate. Yet now, I see that besides us natural gods, there are countless rule divinities that can be awakened by mortals."
Three thousand years had passed, and the gods’ understanding of the rules between divinities had deepened continuously.
Among the earliest awakened divinities, excluding the Dragon God and Curse God, all were natural gods with inherent, unchanging divine powers.
The likes of the Wine God, and the Gods of Mountains and Craftsmanship, on the other hand, were awakened due to mortals establishing corresponding rules on earth, such as brewing wine to a certain extent naturally awakened the Wine God, or smelting metal to a sufficiently advanced stage naturally awakened the Gods of Mountains and Craftsmanship.
These rule divinities saw their divine power grow with the flourishing of these earthly rules and weaken with their decline.
"You should know that within this Celestial Kingdom, countless rule divinities are enhancing their divine power, and countless stars await awakening by those rules. Even though their growth is minuscule, most divinities awakened are weak in divine power, but eventually, when we unite all of the divines’ strength, even the Holy Realm prophesied will be overshadowed by our light!"
Upon hearing this, the Prophetic God Kagawus hesitated momentarily before speaking,
"Divine King, I harbor no doubts about your will. Together, under your reign, we shall forge this Golden Age."
Divine King Shan En nodded slightly, then said,
"Kagawus, tell me the prophecy you have made for the Golden Age."
After Divine King Shan En declared to forge the Golden Age, the Prophetic God Kagawus made three prophecies for Shan En, all converging in the early era.
"A Three-eyed Ape-Man will enter the city, triumph in three battles, yet will lose everything in the fourth."
"This is the first prophecy."
"A star will fall to the Mortal World, becoming a dazzling gemstone, its brilliance sparking, inciting kingdoms’ thirst, leading to war. Yet the fate of the gemstone, after passing through the hands of kings, would be unfathomable."
"This is the second prophecy."
Divine King Shan En listened silently, drawing upon his divine power to catch a glimpse of the tip of the iceberg of the prophecy.
Though not comparable to Kagawus’s ability to interpret prophecies, it was astonishing enough for all the gods.
"And the third prophecy, Kagawus?"
After hearing this, the Prophetic God Kagawus slowly began to speak,
"Someone will return to their homeland after surviving a thousand dangers,
The blind shall bathe in the Divine’s light, become better, become mighty, preach, and die.
There was one who was the first,
And he will be followed by another, bearing the heavy responsibility."
