Only God
Chapter 136 - 118: Our Order!

Chapter 136: Chapter 118: Our Order!

Within the Celestial Kingdom, as year after year elapsed, more divinities awoke from their profound stupor and achieved self-awareness amidst the vast expanse of stars.

Divine King Shan En changed his previous selective attitude and, after consulting with the Gods, included more self-aware stars into the ranks of the divinity.

Although the Gods did not understand the intentions of Divine King Shan En, they were willing to accept other stars as members of the divine.

Within the Celestial Kingdom, the Gods expanded from the initial five divinities to thirteen.

Shan En revealed to the other eight divinities a segment of past history, through which they learned of the great divine feats of their progenitor; it was this luminous being that endowed the stars with souls.

The eight divinities were the Fire God, Wind God, God of Revenge, Wine God, Forest God, Mountain God, Lake God, and Light God.

Each divinity possessed their divine power, following the guidance of the earliest five divinities and acknowledging Thunder God Shan En as the King of Gods.

The original five divinities showed the eight Gods the races they had created: the Three-eyed Ape People, Sea Demons, Druids, and Beastmen... Four major races were presented before the eight Gods, eliciting their surprise and awe.

"Can we also create our own races?" asked Wine God Sibos excitedly.

"Of course, but before you create a race, you must understand the covenant we established."

Thereafter, Divine King Shan En informed the eight new Gods about the covenant previously made among the Gods.

"Moreover, creating a race is not simple, you must learn to guide them, and at the right moment, send down divine decrees so your race may flourish and endure," advised the Prophetic God Kagawus.

Upon hearing this, the new Gods inquired among the divinities for the best practices in creating races.

The earliest five divinities unreservedly passed on their experiences and lessons to the eight new Gods.

Due to the overly intricate nature, four of the new Gods abandoned their plans to create a race while the Wind God and Forest God, unable to decide, thus remained indecisive.

In the end, only the Fire God and Wine God were still eager to create their own races.

After hearing many suggestions, Wine God Sibos suddenly thought of a question.

"Your races, not only their languages but even their scripts are the same; how can this be?"

At these words, the faces of the five divinities changed slightly.

After a moment of hesitation, Water God Angel stepped forward and explained to Wine God Sibos.

"Wine God Sibos, this is because our races were all created following the model of the Logos people."

"Logos people?" Wine God Sibos asked curiously.

"Yes, they are the earliest intelligent species on earth. Our progenitor created them, endowed them with reason, and under the mountains, they established the earliest civilization," briefly narrated Water God Angel, subtly glossing over any revolts by the Logos people against the Gods.

Wine God Sibos only knew that the Logos people refused to worship the Gods and ultimately, due to their greed, the first kingdom on this world was destroyed.

"It’s truly a magnificent story.

Our progenitor has perished, and the kingdom of the Logos people did not last either," Wine God Sibos remarked with emotional sigh.

"Yes, Wine God Sibos," said the Prophetic God Kagawus at that moment,

"Now, rather than calling them Logos people, we prefer to call them ’Elves’."

As Wine God and Fire God looked out at the vast world beyond the Celestial Kingdom, the two new Gods could not help but be eager to create their own unique races on earth.

However, Divine King Shan En momentarily halted them.

"Before you create your races, there is another, more important task at hand."

At this statement, not just Wine God and Fire God, but all the other divinities turned their attention to Divine King Shan En.

He surveyed the assembly of Gods then slowly said:

"This matter pertains to the great divine authority of all the Gods."

As the words fell, the Divine were either shocked or puzzled.

What great matter could possibly involve the Divine Authority of the Gods?

The Prophetic God Kagawus gazed at Divine King Shan En, whom he respected most, and suddenly thought of something.

He discerned Shan En’s intention from his demeanor.

"Could it be, could it be... Divine King, are you going to..."

Kagawus’s voice trembled lightly, carrying a hint of disbelief.

Shan En glanced at Kagawus, then faced the Gods and declared calmly,

"O Gods,

we shall establish a grand Kingdom of Gods among the stars!

This kingdom must be able to rival the Holy Realm foretold in the prophecy;

otherwise, once that Holy Realm arrives,

if the Kingdom of Gods is not established, it will lose the vitality to govern the Mortal World!"

Upon hearing Divine King Shan En’s proclamation, the earliest five Deities trembled uncontrollably.

Shan En was desperately contending with the future foretold in the prophecy.

The King of Gods, he actually aspired to craft a Kingdom of Gods to stand on equal footing with the Heaven foretold!

To contend against the predestined future, against the great father of the Gods, and even to reverse the fates meant for the Gods later on.

Oh Divine King, how audacious you are.

Compared to the storm in the minds of the five Deities, the eight new Gods were somewhat bewildered and then exchanged looks unwittingly.

Seeing this, the kind-hearted Water God Angel explained to the eight new Gods the prophecy earlier made by the Prophetic God Kagawus.

Within the prophecy,

the declining father of the Gods would be reborn, creating a Holy Realm above the Cloud Sea.

All victories of the Gods must be surrendered to that God of the revered name, and every created being between Heaven and Earth would be destined by him, establishing an eternal covenant with the Gods.

And the Gods of the Celestial Kingdom...

would also lose the vitality to govern the Mortal World.

The eight new Gods were horrified upon hearing the prophecy, never having imagined that the declining father would return.

Moreover, the Divine Authority of the Gods would also be shaken by him, thereby making it difficult to govern the Mortal World.

The new Gods felt the dread of children learning of their impending death, becoming uncontrollably anxious.

Divine King Shan En watched all of this.

Shan En stretched out his hand and said loudly,

"Do not fear, it is for this reason that we must create the Kingdom of Gods.

Once the Kingdom of Gods is established, it will gather the full force of the Celestial Kingdom, completely reversing our fate!

We shall set our own rules, our own order.

Just as we established the oath among Gods."

Divine King Shan En turned around, gazing deep into the Celestial Kingdom.

His gaze traveled immeasurable distances, landing on the Historical Star.

It was there that Shan En saw that sacred yet terrifying future.

No Deity was willing to accept such a fate.

"At that time, if our father awakens, I can entrust the Kingship of the Gods to our father, for he truly is our Divine Father.

However...

He must abide by the rules of the Gods, our order!"
