Naruto: Wooing Tsunade from Day One!
Chapter 532: Complete Control

Chapter 532 - 532: Complete Control

After leaving the Land of Fire, Kawakaze headed straight for the Land of Iron.

The Five-Tails, Kokuō, resided in a forest within the Land of Iron, while the Six-Tails, Saiken, dwelled in a dark, damp swamp near the Land of Water—an environment that perfectly suited a slug. Following the principle of proximity, Kawakaze naturally planned to deal with Kokuō first before going after Saiken.

He had no need for transportation. With his immense chakra reserves, he arrived in the Land of Iron in no time. The distinct and powerful chakra fluctuations of a Tailed Beast were impossible to hide from his perception. Once he locked onto Kokuō's exact location, he rushed straight toward it.

The moment he got close, the sleeping Kokuō's eyes snapped open, a dangerous warning signal exploding in his mind.

"It's you?"

Kokuō stared at Kawakaze, who had suddenly appeared nearby, clearly recognizing the man from their previous battle.

"You remember me?" Kawakaze was slightly surprised—he hadn't expected a Tailed Beast to retain its memories after reincarnation.

"Where is that woman?"

Compared to Kawakaze, Kokuō's memory of Tsunade was much stronger. The pain and humiliation she had inflicted on him were impossible to forget.

"Do I need a second person to deal with you?"

A mocking smirk tugged at Kawakaze's lips—he didn't take Kokuō seriously at all.

"You're asking for death!"

With a sudden burst of power, Kokuō charged forward, lowering his head to ram into Kawakaze. His rage was unmistakable—he clearly intended to skewer Kawakaze with his massive horn.

He knew all too well that whenever a ninja sought him out, there was only one reason. Even if the man before him possessed unfathomable strength, this fight was inevitable.

"Overestimating yourself."

Kawakaze's gaze sharpened as he watched Kokuō rush toward him, filled with nothing but disdain.

Did being big make him invincible?

In a flash, lightning surged around Kawakaze, and the red cursed seal at the corner of his eye surfaced. With a forceful push off the tree branch beneath him, his body shot forward like a cannonball.

His right fist, crackling with blinding lightning, slammed directly into Kokuō's prized horn.

Boom!

Kokuō was sent flying, his massive horn shattering into two pieces. He crashed through countless trees before finally coming to a stop.

"Originally, just taking this horn would've been enough."

"But you pissed me off."

"So just die again."

Kawakaze casually picked up the broken horn and, without giving Kokuō a chance to get up, launched another attack.

After forming a hand seal, the character "座" appeared in the palm of his right hand. In the next instant, he activated the Flying Thunder God Technique and teleported directly onto Kokuō's head.

"Kakuan Entering Society with Bliss-Bringing Hands."

With a low chant, an immense amount of chakra surged into Kokuō's body.

Kokuō instantly felt his chakra being forcefully suppressed, and an overwhelming drowsiness washed over him.

Within mere seconds, he could no longer resist—his eyes closed, and his body collapsed to the ground.

Kawakaze didn't seem to exert much effort, yet after just a few kicks, Kokuō's body gradually faded away.

"If you see me again, be more polite."

A real man never looks back at his victories—that was his confidence.

After Kawakaze left, Kokuō vanished without a trace. Only the devastated forest and deep gouges in the earth remained as evidence of their battle.

Sealing Kokuō's broken horn into a scroll, Kawakaze wasted no time and immediately set off for the Land of Water.

He had no interest in lingering—who knew how much his beloved daughter missed him by now?

...

Crossing through the Land of Fire, he traveled via the great bridge connecting it to the Land of Waves and boarded a passenger ship bound for the Land of Water.

For the first time, he truly felt the changes in the world around him.

The bridge linking the Land of Fire and the Land of Waves had been completed in the first year of the Five-Year Plan. Now, countless people traveled between the two lands daily—far more convenient than in the past.

The passenger ship he boarded was also the latest generation—faster, larger, and designed for mass transport. With fixed schedules and stable routes, the flow of people was constant.

As he observed the world around him, Kawakaze felt that everything he had done had been worth it.

Wasn't this the true meaning of unification?

Listening to the idle chatter of those around him, he didn't feel bored at all.

In fact, he was already thinking about when he could take his family on a journey across the entire shinobi world.

...

When the ship finally docked, he was almost reluctant to disembark.

From the port, he made his way to the small island mentioned in the note. Upon arriving at a swamp, his keen senses confirmed it—Saiken was hiding beneath the surface.

"Are you coming out on your own, or do I have to make you?"

Kawakaze didn't believe for a second that Saiken couldn't sense his presence.

He waited patiently for a few minutes, but the Six-Tails still didn't appear. Instead, the powerful chakra within the swamp grew more subdued—Saiken was clearly trying to hide, avoiding confrontation altogether.

"Since you're not coming out, don't blame me for being rude."

"I was willing to negotiate, but you threw that chance away."

As Kawakaze spoke, a surge of immense chakra erupted from his body. In the next moment, a sea of trees began to rise from the swamp.

"Wait! No need for violence, we can talk!"

Saiken had encountered users of Wood Release before, and the moment he felt that familiar power, he knew hiding was pointless.

A massive slug with six milky-white tails emerged from the swamp, its body continuously dripping with thick, slimy mucus.

"At least you know when to give in."

"I need a part of your body."

"I'll take what I need and leave—I won't kill you."

Kawakaze examined Saiken from head to tail but didn't see anything particularly unique. In the end, he decided to take a random piece of flesh—so long as it worked for the experiment, that was all that mattered.

"No way! That'll hurt!"

Saiken instinctively backed up a few steps, its short legs moving surprisingly fast.

"Oh? So you're not afraid of dying, then?"

Kawakaze's gaze sharpened, his voice slow but laced with unmistakable killing intent.

"...Which part do you want?"

Saiken's mucus dripped even faster as it anxiously asked for Kawakaze's preference. Between pain and death, the choice was obvious.

"The tail."

"You've got six—you won't miss one."

Kawakaze smirked, amused by how Saiken reacted as if his tails were mere disposable items.

"Fine."

Saiken gritted his teeth and, with a decisive motion, severed one of its tails at the root.

Even Kawakaze winced slightly—he hadn't asked for that much.

This guy was a little too straightforward.

"Is this enough?"

Saiken tossed the severed tail over, still worried that Kawakaze might not be satisfied. The constant fear of being killed was terrifying.

"Yeah, this is plenty."

Kawakaze quickly nodded and sealed the tail into a scroll.

"Can I go now?"

Saiken's cautious tone almost made Kawakaze feel a little guilty.

"Go ahead. If you ever run into trouble, just mention my name—Kawakaze Hatake."

It was their first time meeting, so he figured Saiken wouldn't recognize him.

"Goodbye, sir."

Saiken silently added a "hopefully never again" in his mind before quickly sinking back into the swamp, vanishing from sight.

"All done!"

Watching how fast Saiken fled, Kawakaze couldn't help but laugh. He also felt a bit proud—how many shinobi could claim to have terrified a Tailed Beast like that?

"Time to go home."

Without any further delay, Kawakaze set off for Konoha, carrying pieces of the Five-Tails and Six-Tails with him.
