Chapter 1110: Chapter 329: The All-Knowing Eye vs. the Eye of the Future! Mechanism of Destiny! Alliance Chess Master_3

Similar structures were numerous and of various bizarre shapes. They had been somewhat restrained before, but after the Shimmering Oil Pollution, it was as if they had been completely unleashed.

Wild, mad, chaotic.

It was only in the residential areas that one could discern a modern style, clustered together.

As for Gary Smith’s arrival, residents of Mechanism King’s Domain were already shivering, merely hoping this guy would quickly defeat the gatekeeper and then torment the next layer.

Gary Smith crushed a large number of Shimmering Oil-polluted Mechanical Beasts on his way, soon arriving at the passage that led to Divination Heaven.

A gigantic Chromium Copper Tree connected the heavens and the earth of Mechanic Heaven, its countless branches growing wildly, intertwining into a colossal cobweb.

Whirrr!

The Shimmering Oil that gushed out of it fell like a waterfall, forming a vast, dark, sticky swamp on the ground. Bubbles rose up now and then, bursting into the air, spreading the stench of rotten blood and flesh mixed with machine oil.

Whether for Mechanics or the average human, it was a nauseating sensation.

Even Joanne Jones, though masked, couldn’t help but frown at the distaste for something so antithetical to life, but she said nothing and just looked around. Not seeing the gatekeeper, she expressed her confusion:

"Why isn’t there anyone?"

"You’re mistaken," he said.

Gary Smith shook his head, the Eye of Truth quietly activating as he looked ahead and spoke with profound meaning:

"He has never left."

The moment the words dropped, the nodal points of the intricately woven web of the Chromium Copper Forest began to light up one by one, glowing with a ghostly blue radiance.

Yet upon closer inspection, one could see that these were not spirit energy lasers, but rather countless data streams moving at high speed, colliding to create this light of information.

Hum!

Countless lights shimmered, coloring the world, washing the entire Chromium Copper Forest with brilliance as if the network had entered reality.

As if all things in the world were merely data points on it, ready to be changed or transformed at any moment.

Whirrr!

Under the flicker of the ghostly blue light, the entire Shimmering Oil Swamp roiled, turning into a sea of Mercury, reflecting the light like a mirror.

It reflected a hovering rhomboid platform in the air, on which a humanoid figure gradually appeared, seated within.

Although humanoid in shape, to Gary Smith, the figure seemed less human than Lucie Watson and Qiull Russell.

Covered in a Black Cloak, its muscles and skin having completely atrophied to look like a skeletal framework, the body was enshrouded in tightly wound metal filaments, sporting a smooth alloy shell.

But its overall shape was more akin to a specially modified product; the skull was that of a fierce Dragon Head and its body built upon insectoid structures. Despite having human-like hands, they were replaced by machine bones, from which sprouted dozens of metallic cables clutching surgical tools and many more bearing Mechanical Electronic Eyes at their ends.

Humming!

The electronic eyes danced continually, emitting ghostly blue glows, projecting multiple screens that showed images of Gary Smith, Joanne Jones, Red Rabbit, et cetera, analyzing extensive amounts of data.

Furthermore, surrounding him were numerous cross-shaped Artillery batteries, densely packed, covering the entire Chromium Copper Forest, with red glints flickering in their eyes, staring at Gary Smith and Joanne Jones.

If Qiull Russell embodied the unrestrained nature of Steam Machinery and Lucie Watson the wildness of Insert Mechanisms, then this creature was like...

a product of super-advanced technology from the Future!

If it weren’t known beforehand that this individual was Gerry Gildon, the missing genius of the Divination Faction, most would mistake him for a unique Mechanical Creation.

Moreover, the aura emanating from him was even stronger than Lucie Watson’s, having reached the Radiant Moon Intermediate Rank Peak.

Gerry Gildon sat cross-legged on a rhomboid crystal platform with a custom-made stone Chessboard before him, still pondering with a bowed head. Without raising it, he spoke:

"I have searched the database and already know your name, Gary Smith, the King of the Newcomers of Imperial Capital University, the Monster who stepped out of the Borderland, a Secret Realm Raider. Your reputation is indeed well-deserved, to have seen through my meticulously arranged optical camouflage with a mere glance."

The voice, genderless, was a cold, unemotional electronic tone.

Gary Smith spread his hands and said, "I didn’t want to, but unfortunately, your methods are too clumsy, making it impossible for me to pretend not to notice."

"Clumsy, you say..." Gerry Gildon heard this without anger; instead, he lifted his head, revealing a pure gold eye embedded in the center of his face.

Joanne Jones trembled at the sight of it.

For that was the Mechanical Core discovered alongside the Mecha Queen in the relics of the Nation of Magical Machinery, the treasure of the Divination Faction.

The Eye of Wisdom Machine!

Its presence here meant one of two things: either the Divination Faction had suffered a total defeat, or...

they were also part of this.

Gerry Gildon’s solitary eye moved, casting an inadvertent glance toward Joanne Jones, then eagerly sought advice from Gary Smith:

"Could you tell me which areas need improvement? Only by recognizing flaws and constantly innovating can more useful mechanical technologies be born."

His words were sincere, not a joke, as if he truly considered himself a student.

Such an attitude caused a flicker of surprise in Gary Smith’s eyes.

This guy, terribly rational!

With thoughts swirling in his mind, he then said:

"I don’t mind telling you, but once I’ve finished, will you let us pass?"

"Sorry, I can’t, because my task is to ensure that no one crosses the passageway to Divination Heaven."
