Chapter 1109: Chapter 329: The All-Knowing Eye vs. the Eye of the Future! Mechanism of Destiny! Alliance Chess Master_2
Especially when the little boy was mischievous and got a beating from his father, it made many people smirk in schadenfreude.
Thinking about it, Gary Smith was actually under twenty years old, yet he had lost his parents and could only rely on himself, suppressing countless geniuses from other worlds.
Everyone only saw his glory, but his journey of loneliness went unnoticed.
In the audience of the Mechanism King’s Domain, a cohort of ’mother fans’ emerged. Even the residents of Steam Heaven expressed their enthusiasm, saying they were free to play around since they had already overcome their calamity.
This little matter was just a drop in the bucket!
They were even more eager to see Gary Smith wreak havoc in the next level of Mechanic Heaven.
Only the residents of the Mechanized Gu Sect didn’t fit in, grumbling, "Live on, who can outlive you guys!"
"How pitiful!"
Joanne Jones’ eyes brimmed with tears. She didn’t find Gary Smith’s childishness amusing; instead, she felt sorry for him. She nodded earnestly, signaling her determination to help him fulfill his wishes.
Then, Gary Smith watched as this little potato started bustling about, a slight smile curving the edges of his mouth.
Boom!
As the Steam Sky Pillar and many new and old steam engines ignited, a large concentration of steam diffused into the air, rapidly reducing the visibility in Steam Heaven.
Enveloping the whole world like entering the clouds of Misty Wonderland above.
After filling the world, the concentration continued to increase.
Gary Smith reached out, grabbed a chunk of the cloud-like, almost solidified fog that quickly shattered, and then swiftly slipped through his fingers. He couldn’t help but exclaim,
"So beautiful!"
After admiring it for a moment, he brought along a panting Joanne Jones into the Steam Sky Pillar.
Boom-thud!
The ringing of the Great Mechanical Clock sounded from beneath their feet. Driven by steam, it lifted them through the clouds, continuously ascending to the next Mechanic Heaven.
Mechanized Gu Sect!
The moment Gary Smith set foot on the Great Earth of the Mechanized Gu Sect, he felt how different it was from Steam Heaven.
The Mechanized Gu Sect didn’t have many high-rise buildings; instead, numerous Chromium Copper Forests towered high, every tree reaching a hundred meters tall. On the ground, buildings shaped like religious insects were scattered everywhere.
Amid solemn reverence, there was a hint of wildness.
Unfortunately, the entire Mechanism King’s Domain could not escape the fate of Shimmering Oil Pollution. The trunks of the towering Chromium Copper Trees had been corroded empty by the black spark oil, turning into giant hollows oozing black oil constantly.
However, the branches grew wildly, interlacing between different Chromium Copper Trees, forming a structure similar to a spiderweb, creating a giant net that covered the sky.
"Roar roar roar!"
The vast number of Mechanical Beasts, polluted by the shimmering oil, climbed and leaped above it, among them not only Mechanized Beasts but also a variety of other species.
Joanne Jones explained, "Although it’s called Mechanized Gu Sect, it’s because the Mechanized Gu Sect, dominated by Gu Beasts, built it. But their doctrine venerates the natural evolution and survival of the fittest among Mechanical Life, and Gu insects represent this philosophy.
Therefore, bestial mechanized creatures, avian-type machines, and even Sub-dragon Mech Beasts are common, though none are as accessible as the smaller Gu Beasts, which also have a higher price."
Gary Smith nodded and headed towards the third level passage, watching those that had already been polluted by the shimmering oil, with crimson sinew growing on their bodies, engage in frantic battles in the air and evolving.
Even amongst them were several Mechanical Monkeys, whose special mechanical arms could extend a hundred meters, grabbing branches and swinging wildly, their faces filled with panic as they fled.
Behind them, a Sub-Dragon with scythe-shaped Dragon Horns and countless blades growing on its back, menacing in appearance, with eight dark green eyes, was relentlessly hunting these Mechanical Beasts.
Ferocious and powerful.
After devouring hundreds of prey, its Dragon Might Aura astonishingly climbed from an ordinary Sub-Dragon to the strength of a high-level Sub-Dragon, metamorphosing into the intermediate rank of Morning Star.
"Roar!"
It bellowed towards the heavens, spotting Gary Smith and others who had entered its territory. With its feet digging into the ground, it turned into a green streak of light, charging at them.
Dragon Might surged!
The next moment, it opened its massive mouth and then... was flipped onto the ground by a single swipe of Red Rabbit’s claw.
The latter’s eyes blazed with brutality, roaring,
"Roar!"
The oppressive aura from the Earth’s Splendor Kirin burst forth, rattling its Mech Soul to the verge of shutdown, leaving it frozen stiff.
Crack!
The next moment, the Spirit Mechanism Wings swept through, piercing its brain. The leaking shimmering oil assimilated it, and in the blink of an eye, it was devoured.
To Red Rabbit, the tyrant Mech Beast that rampaged in the Mechanized Gu Sect was merely weak prey.
After doing all this, it continued to obediently stay by its master’s side.
"The arrival of the shimmering oil has accelerated the process of natural evolution by thousands, if not millions, of times," Gary Smith thought, witnessing even more sights along the way.
Like the fountains spewing black spark oil, which thanks to the uniqueness of the Mechanized Gu Sect, had an additional touch of dark green luster, reminiscent of a chemical factory’s discharge area, causing every Mechanical Beast that drank from it to mutate.
Nearby were deeply mutated Chromium Copper Trees that developed special Mech Souls with sprawling roots that assembled the faces of other Mechanical Beasts onto their hollow bodies, covered with white porcelain, as if in search of some wholeness.
Apart from that, there were the forges flowing with scorching magma, ringing with the sound of Mechanical Hammers and bellows. Within the magma swam mechanized lizards with mechanical heads adorned with dozens of dark green eyes and white porcelain armor, covered in Chromium Copper Scale Armor.
They continuously spat venom-laden dark green liquid, which, upon incineration by the high temperatures, turned into roiling poison fog that instantly corroded the approaching Mechanical Beasts before dragging them into the magma to melt their casings and devour them for digestion.
