My Love Debts Are Everywhere! -
Chapter 658 - 658: A Coincidence and Elina's Request
Leon's heart pounded in his chest, his body stiffening with fear.
"Is this just a misunderstanding?" he wondered, swallowing hard as he tried to steady his racing heart.
Coincidences were common in this world—there was no reason to panic.
"Leon? Why are you so quiet? Do you like the name I gave you?"
Zelda's concerned voice snapped him out of his thoughts.
"I'm fine," Leon replied softly. He turned to face Zelda and added, "I really like the name. Thank you, Queen Zelda."
Zelda let out a quiet sigh of relief. She had spent days thinking about the name Nolan, and in her eyes, it suited Leon perfectly.
After all, his original name meant "courage" in the Elven language, and the sacred name Nolan, meaning "protector," felt especially fitting.
With that, Zelda continued the ceremony without issue.
Since it wasn't a grand ritual that typically spanned several days, everything was completed within a few hours.
Having received his sacred name, Leon was then invited to the palace balcony to greet the Elves.
"Fated One, look over here! I'm downstairs!"
"Wow! Is that the Fated One? He's so handsome! Way more handsome than me—damn it!"
"So he's the one from the prophecy? I didn't expect him to look so young!"
"Over here, Fated One!"
Excited voices echoed from the elves below. Although they had known Leon had arrived over a month ago, many of them had yet to see him in person.
In a way, this was their first close-up look at him—and they were completely captivated by his appearance.
Leon responded to their cheers with a warm smile and waved both hands in greeting.
He was no stranger to such moments. Back in the Holy Empire of Elysium, whenever he returned victorious from missions to exterminate demon armies, the people of the capital would welcome him with the same kind of enthusiasm.
So this kind of reception didn't faze him—he was used to it and not the least bit nervous.
Once the ceremony ended, Leon returned to the throne room alongside Zelda.
There, he spoke with several elves, including Thalon, Leyna, Lavistar, the three elders, and other high-ranking elves he hadn't met before.
Their conversation covered many topics—especially the outside world—which sparked a deep longing in the elves to experience it for themselves.
To fulfill that dream, Leon made a promise: from now on, the Elven race would be freed from the ancient oaths of their ancestors, granting them the freedom to explore the outside world and interact with humans, demons, and dragons alike.
Upon hearing this promise, the elves were deeply moved and eagerly awaited the day it would come true.

In one of the palace hallways, Leon, Elina, and Zelda walked side by side.
Throughout the walk, Elina kept glancing at him with a sharp, irritated expression.
"Hm? What's wrong, Elina? Did I do something wrong?" Leon asked, turning to her with a curious look.
Zelda, walking beside him, also turned to her sister in surprise. Elina's face was puffed up in a pout, which only made her look even more adorable.
"Hmph! It's nothing," Elina huffed, turning her face away.
Zelda and Leon exchanged glances and chuckled quietly. They didn't know what had caused Elina's sudden mood, but they weren't too concerned.
After all, she often had these unexpected sulking episodes.
Before long, they arrived at Leon's room and stepped inside. The room was as tidy as ever, as if the earlier chaos between him and Zelda on the bed had never happened.
"Leon, by the way," Zelda said, turning toward him, "will you be bringing many things? If you are, I'll ask the maids to prepare them."
Leon walked over to the bed and sat on its edge, then shook his head gently. "No, I'm not bringing much. The journey to the Dwarven territory will be long, so I plan to buy clothes along the way instead."
Zelda frowned. She placed her hands on her hips and pursed her lips in annoyance.
"Why do you have to buy them outside? Are our Elven-made clothes that ugly?" She asked with a dissatisfied tone.
"Eh?" Leon blinked in surprise at her sudden outburst. But before he could say anything, Zelda had already walked over and sat beside him.
"Just because the journey is long doesn't mean you shouldn't prepare properly. What if you get lost in the forest and have no spare clothes or food? I'll have the maids pack everything and store it in the magic ring I made for you. Understood?"
Leon sighed as he met Zelda's serious gaze. Although she usually appeared gentle and a little carefree, once she set her mind on something, she could be surprisingly firm and assertive.
There was no point in turning down her kindness.
"Alright, I'll accept it," Leon replied softly.
"Good!" Zelda clapped her hands, her face lighting up. "Then I'll go ask the maids to get everything ready. You just wait here with Elina."
With that, she turned and left the room, her steps light and cheerful.
Leon smiled as he watched her go. He was just about to lie down when Elina suddenly sat down in the exact spot Zelda had occupied earlier.
Startled, Leon looked at her in confusion.
"What is it, Elina? Do you need something?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.
She had been acting strangely ever since they met earlier, and Leon still wasn't sure why.
Elina shot him a sharp look, then asked bluntly, "Young Master, did you and my sister..."
She trailed off, but Leon immediately understood what she meant.
"Ahem." He looked away, clearly flustered. "Did you... see anything?"
Elina paused, then sighed. "No, I didn't see anything. But... I did overhear you two moaning this morning."
Leon: "..."
He hadn't realized just how poorly soundproofed the room was.
Did that mean the fight between him and Zelda last night could've been heard by the passing maids?
It was certainly possible, but Leon could only hope no one had heard anything.
After all… that would be incredibly embarrassing.
Elina rolled her eyes and folded her arms across her chest.
"Well, I'm not going to talk about that—it's none of my business anyway," she muttered bitterly. Then, casting a few quick glances toward the door, she asked, "Young Master, when exactly are you leaving?"
Leon was slightly puzzled by the sudden question but didn't think much of it. "I'll be leaving later this evening, once everything is ready."
"Perfect!" Elina said, clenching her fists in excitement. "Then… can I come with you on your journey, Young Master?"
"What? Come with me?" Leon blinked in shock.
"Shhh!" Elina panicked and quickly covered his mouth with her palm. "Don't say it out loud, Young Master! My sister might hear."
Leon frowned, gently removed Elina's hand from his mouth, and gave her a serious look.
"Elina, have you lost your mind? That's a completely unreasonable request."
He knew Elina could be impulsive, but he hadn't expected her to suggest something like this.
The journey to the Dwarven territory was incredibly long and dangerous. Even for him, survival wasn't guaranteed.
Bringing Elina along would only make things harder—and put her life at risk.
Elina bit her lower lip, her expression turning somber. "I know my request is unreasonable… but I really want to go with you, Young Master. Don't you remember? I once said I wanted to be your travel companion so that my name would go down in history. This is my only chance to make that happen."
"I know," Leon sighed, reaching out to gently pat her head. "But your request is too much. Even if I agreed, your sister never would. You still remember how furious she was when you came back from your last trip, don't you?"
Elina fell silent at his words. The memory of her sister scolding—and even hitting—her came flooding back, sending a chill down her spine.
But as she imagined the beauty of the outside world and the chance for her name to be remembered in history, her fear gradually faded—replaced by a newfound determination.
"I don't care about that, Young Master," she said softly, her expression pained as fake tears began to gather in the corners of her eyes.
Then, clinging to his arm, she pressed her big chest against him and pleaded, "I really want to go with you."
Faced with her flirtatious behavior, Leon couldn't help but feel a twinge of pity—and in the end, he gave in.
"Fine. I'll let you come. But you mustn't breathe a word of this to your sister. Got it?" Leon gave her a steady, serious look.
Elina's face lit up with joy. She leaned her head against his arm and exclaimed, "Thank you, Young Master!"
Leon simply smiled at her spoiled reaction. But what Elina didn't notice… was the sly glint quietly hidden in his eyes.
