My Love Debts Are Everywhere! -
Chapter 655 - 655: To Be Yours Forever
"What!? You accepted it?" Zelda was startled, her eyes widening as she stared at Leon.
Seeing her reaction, Leon chuckled softly and gently pinched her cheek.
"Yes, I accepted it," he said in a tender voice. "Or... did you want me to reject it?"
"No!" Zelda blurted out, hugging Leon tightly around the waist.
Her face pressed against his broad chest as she closed her eyes and breathed in his soothing, fragrant scent. "I didn't want you to reject me. I'm so happy you accepted."
A faint smile slowly formed on her beautiful lips and gradually widened. At first, she had been sure Leon would reject her.
That was why she had already prepared a desperate backup plan—to pressure him and force him to make her his woman.
But what she hadn't expected... was that he didn't reject her—he accepted her.
It meant she no longer had to resort to such a crude method to win him over.
Relief, joy, and a storm of other emotions burst in her chest, sweeping away the heavy burden she had carried for the past four days.
Leon simply smiled as he returned her embrace, gently stroking her head.
"By the way," he said, "I've been wondering... If I had rejected you, what would you have done? Would you have given up and tried to forget me?"
It was the only possibility that made sense to him.
After all, Zelda was a kind-hearted woman—she would surely accept whatever outcome he gave her.
Even if it hurt, Leon was certain she would still smile and pretend to be strong, just like she always did.
All this time, Leon had believed he knew Zelda well enough through their earlier interactions.
But what he didn't expect was for Zelda to suddenly loosen her embrace, look him straight in the eyes, and casually reply, "No, I won't do that. On the contrary, I won't give up. I'll make you accept me no matter what—even if I have to pressure you and cook the rice into porridge."
Leon: "..."
No way… Where did that even come from? Where had the kind and angelic Zelda gone?
Why did she suddenly look terrifying—like Athena, that yandere woman!?
Are all women like this? Pretending to be sweet and gentle in front of the man they like, only to reveal their true face once their love is accepted?
For the first time in his life, Leon genuinely doubted himself.
He thought he understood Zelda. But clearly, he was completely wrong—beneath her graceful, gentle, and kind facade, she had the potential to be a full-blown yandere!
"Huh..." Leon let out a long sigh, then pinched Zelda's cheek again—still gently, but with a bit more force. "Stop thinking like that. You're a queen. How can you have such desperate thoughts?"
Zelda pouted, then buried her face in Leon's chest again as she murmured, "If you had rejected me, I would've been heartbroken. You're my first love… And I know I could never forget you for the rest of my life. Besides, I'm an Elf—with a long lifespan. Can you imagine how unbearable that kind of pain would be, lasting for centuries?"
She let out a long sigh, then rubbed her cheek against his chest like a spoiled child. "Thankfully, I don't have to go through that. You accepted my feelings… and I'm really, really happy."
Leon said nothing, but her words sank deep into his heart.
In that moment, he finally understood something important.
The rejection he had once considered… would have been no different from breaking her completely.
It was a good thing that the middle-aged man had shown up just in time to open his eyes.
If not, Leon couldn't even begin to imagine how devastating the outcome would have been.
There was a real chance all three elders—including the First Elder—or even Astra herself, would have ended up hating him.
After all, Zelda wasn't just anyone. She was the Elf Queen—not only their leader, but the very symbol of the Elven race.
If she had been broken, the entire race might have collapsed—and that could've triggered a wave of chaos.
"I understand how you feel," Leon said seriously, "but promise me this—don't ever do something so reckless again, alright?"
Zelda fell silent, then let out a soft sigh and gave a small nod. "I understand," she replied quietly.
"Good." Leon nodded, satisfied. Then, after glancing at the clock—which showed it was already very late—he added, "Now go back to your room. I want to sleep."
Having said that, Leon let go of her embrace. But just as he was about to turn around, Zelda suddenly hugged his waist tightly again.
"No! Do you really want to sleep?" She asked, puffing out her cheeks in frustration.
"Eh?" Leon was caught off guard. Only then did he realize that Zelda was wearing an incredibly revealing nightgown.
As an experienced man, how could he possibly miss the meaning behind such a bold gesture?
"But... are you sure? Isn't this a bit too rushed?" He asked gently.
It would've been a lie—one full of hypocrisy—if he claimed he didn't want her.
Zelda was an extraordinarily beautiful woman, with a figure capable of seducing anyone.
And on top of that, she was an Elf. Leon knew very well just how alluring and enchanting her kind could be.
It had also been a very long time since he last released his desires. As a man, resisting such temptation wasn't easy.
If not for his strong self-control, he might've already given in long ago.
But as he'd said before, he wasn't the kind of man who let his desires control him. No matter how strong the temptation, their relationship was still new.
They hadn't even shared a kiss yet—how could they possibly skip straight to the final step?
"I..." A soft blush rose to Zelda's cheeks. "To be honest, I'm really embarrassed. I've kept my virginity for three hundred years, and I'm incredibly nervous. But..."
She gazed into Leon's eyes, then gently reached out and caressed his face. "What I fear even more... is letting this moment slip away. You're leaving tomorrow, and I don't know when you'll come back. That's why... I don't want to live with regrets."
Leon could feel the love and sincerity in her voice. A warm feeling spread in his chest.
Without thinking, he smiled and slowly leaned in—pressing his lips to hers.
Zelda's body tensed at the sudden kiss, but only for a moment. Soon, she relaxed, wrapped her arms around his neck, and matched the rhythm of his lips.
After a moment, their lips parted—still connected by a thin string of saliva.
Their eyes met, filled with love, longing, and a desire that could no longer be concealed.
"Leon... take me to bed," Zelda whispered, her voice low and alluring.
Leon silently nodded, then slipped his arms beneath her and lifted her gently into a princess carry.
Zelda clung to him, resting her face in the crook of his neck, trying to calm her racing heartbeat.
Once they reached the bed, Leon laid her down with care, then looked into her eyes with a confident smile.
"Are you ready?"
Zelda gave a shy nod and closed her eyes. Her voice was barely a whisper. "I'm ready…"
Leon swallowed hard, then slowly reached for the straps of her nightgown.
As the fabric slipped away, a breathtaking sight revealed itself before him.
Without another word, Leon leaned in, and the night blossomed into one of warmth, love, and passion—a night they would carry in their hearts forever.
