Anton kept reading Anna’s letter, and it was fairly long. She told him that she would be staying in a dormitory room together with another student of the Supreme Munetta. Anton wondered why they were called students and not disciples.

Her classmate's name was Susan, and she was a rank three, nineteen-year-old female who became Supreme Munetta’s student two years ago. Anna told him through the letter that everything that she had seen so far inside the academy was alright and that she should be fine. That meant that Anton could concentrate on his own life for the next few months while waiting for their father, and Anna was studying in school.

After reading the letter, Anton realized that starting the next day, he would be on his own, which was the first time that had happened after transmigrating in this world. He started feeling excited, but just like before, everything that he felt was tainted with sadness. Anton accepted it because he knew that everything he did would be enveloped in melancholy because of the tragedy that happened with his friends, and it would take some time for him to return to normal, or as normal as he could get in this world.

Anton suddenly wondered if he should utilize the internet to talk to a therapist, but considering the nature of this world that he was staying in, there would be a lot of information that he would need to withheld and any professional therapist would detect that and based on what he knew, which was very little, therapy with a lot of lies would not work. It was just a passing interest, and he knew that he would not do something like talking to a therapist regarding his problem. No one helped him when his parents died, and he was struggling when he was on Earth; here, he would soldier on as best as he could.

Suddenly, he felt exhausted. Anton stored the letter in his inventory and decided to sleep after putting the Pearl of the Ocean beside him, but he was worried. He remembered this tiredness and sleepiness that he was currently feeling. It was the same exhaustion that he felt when his parents died back on Earth. He remembered that for a couple of weeks, he had been sleeping for more than twelve hours a day back then, and he had read somewhere that it was a symptom of depression.

Anton couldn’t afford to get stuck and not do anything. Even though he felt that this kingdom was too powerful with its tens of Invincible Wizards and thousands of Supreme Wizards, it would be impossible to be conquered by the Undead Coalition, Anton, his sister, and his father would not truly believe that they were safe anymore. They had been burned so many times.

Another fact that made Anton and Anna angry was when they learned from Oscar that there were undead in this kingdom. They had their own organization, and the other wizards just treated them as part of their group. Anton wondered if he could be called a racist, which might be the wrong word. Speciest? He didn’t know, but the fact was, the undead hurt him and his family, and right now, the main motivation for him in increasing his power was so that he could fight it out with the Undead Coalition someday.

Before he fell asleep, Anton checked his Assassin character’s level. It was already level eighty-five. Just a few more days, and he would reach the maximum level for the said character, and twenty percent of its dexterity would transfer to his real body, which would increase his power. Not only that, he could again transfer a legendary item from the game to the real world. His Chains of Honor brought a significant amount of power to him, and if he added another, his power would truly shine.

After contemplating his next steps, Anton then fell asleep, but he did summon his Assassin’s Shadow Master to guard him while he slept. He knew he didn’t need it but it brought him comfort.

When he woke up the next day, Anton saw that it was already eleven in the morning. It was very late, and he had slept early the night before. It confirmed his supposition that he felt depressed, but he thought it was only natural. He knew that the only way to combat the depression was for him to work, so after cleaning himself using a cleaning spell, he went out of the inn and didn’t bother to pay for another night. He thought that once he registered as an adventurer, he would then check the best accommodation that he could get as an adventurer.

He then thought of what type of adventurer he should be. Should he continue as a wizard? With the list of characters from his Diablo II system, he could pose as any of the seven characters. Even as a Necromancer, since apparently, the undead or those who handle death magic were accepted here.

Anton didn’t know when his father would arrive in Ormunda from New Drennor, so he had the time to waste and enjoy himself. He decided to pose as a newbie Warrior Cleric. Any party would welcome him since he could heal and was very powerful as a warrior.

Anton felt the stirring of excitement as if he was looking at a brand new MMORPG that he could enter and waste his time with. He then thought of a problem. If he posed as a Warrior Cleric, his identity would be tied to that, and he didn’t want to be always known as a Paladin. He needed more information, and based on the novels that he had read, the best place he could get it was the taverns near the adventurer guilds. But first, he needed coins. He only had a thousand gold coins left, but it's probably enough for now.

He then went to where the Adventurer Guild was located, and conveniently, the main office was near the Magical Academy of Evocation Wizards. Since the kingdom of Ormunda was so huge, there were several branches of the Adventurer guilds in the kingdom. According to Oscar, one could almost treat a section of Ormunda as a city.

As expected, there was a tavern beside the Adventurer Guild, even though it was the main one, and not just one, there were several of them. Anton randomly chose one and entered it. There were several groups of people seated at different tables, and at a cursory hearing of their conversations, it seemed that the groups were actual adventurer groups.

Anton didn’t want to waste time and approached one of the younger-looking groups.

“Good afternoon, sirs. May I know which group here can best answer my questions? I’m willing to pay good coins,” Anton said to the group consisting of four men who looked to be in their early twenties.

“We can answer your question. Are you a new adventurer? What is your profession? My name is Ruel, and these are my group mates, Diego, Hector, and Sylvan,” the man named Ruel said.

“My name is Andrew, and I’m a Warrior Cleric,” Anton said, using an alias that he just thought of.

The four men's eyes glowed, and not only that, the groups near them suddenly stopped talking, and for a moment, they seemed like they wanted to approach Anton and snatch him from Ruel’s group.

“Can you heal?” One of Ruel’s cohort said.

“My healing spells are the best!” Anton boasted.

The four then welcomed him, snatching a chair from another table and almost forcefully pushing him into the chair.
